They are sitting it out over the weekend, and then announce everything is under control and the player community has readily accepted the new shop and direction, and all is happy hippo land.

I've got my money on them trying to pull China heavy handed approach only to find out the people who fear such entities are on serenity and not tranquility at which point the amount of people quitting the game skyrockets as CCP's real face to be shown for all the community (brown noser or not) to see and from then on the fun little experiment that was EVE will end, at most I give the game ti'll next summer if this keeps up.

I see no evidence for that going on, but hey, what do I know. I've only been in-game 8 years.

Seems CCP is getting more and more SERIOUS competitors.

Frankly, people are past caring, saving themselves from the emotional heartbreak and moving on, CCP don't care either.
Most are just using up their time, the one's that have been in this boat before, know exactly how the river flows.. I take their experience over CCP's insulting PR anyday.
Also, Open a PETITION under Accounts & BIlling to have your credit card details removed.
If you reallly want to come back, god knows why, you can pay by PLEX or add it again after.

Current System:
If you buy uber elite modules and ships in game, even if you use Isk from PLEX sales, at some point, a PLAYER had to grind out that Isk you are spending, and PLAYER had to hunt down and kill that officer for that drop.
AUR system:
Stuff appears out of thin air in exchange for RL cash, no PLAYER EFFORT involved ANYWHERE.
Play nice while you butcher each other.

My personal liste of demands, though really I'm just making a post for posting sake.
1) OVERDRIVE CQ DEVELOPMENT. Right now it's pretty for about 5 minutes then gut punchingly annoying. Let me go outsiiiiiiiiide.
2) OFFER WIDE ARRAY OF CHEAP AFFORDABLE NEX ITEMS. Keep your $70 monocles for the ultra-rich but everyday clothing items should be $3 on average. Give me haps, different sorts of getups, masks -- both "serious sci-fi" style and "silly". Give people the means to see how expressive it can be and it will be done. But not if they're costing $20-$30.
3) Return previous ship hanger functionality with a "Disembark"/"Board Ship" button linking CQ to being in your ship in the hanger. It's the only way that makes any sense.
4) No non-vanity items in NEX. Ever.
I really like and support CQ. I think it is a pivotal and necessary addition to Eve Online. But I swear to you if you pull it off half-assedly like you have for many other expansions and features I will end you.

SWTOR looks nice for the planet side stuff, but this google search concerns me about SWTOR and it being mass market..

It's uncompressed a.k.a. the full 1,3GB.
My way will save you half the time (after all I did it for you) and contains all the files needed to run the game.
