any ship requiring to be close range is gimped enough in this tournament... and then having to worry about maneuvering a bs around asteroids to get to the target is just rediculous...

But, if thats what killed the pod, why the hell disqualify ?
That's not meant to pod stuff, it's to take out kayo's torps (altho it would have done **** all to them anyway since it was only one or two of them smartbombs anyways as far as I can see).
Still... very bad call to dq SA there if it was s smartbomb, as that is not intentional podding.
But, that fight was over anyway the moment that bhaalgorn got stuck, if not as soon as it got boarded ...

Now that was complete BS. Yes, the bhaalgorn had some smartbombs on as missile defence, and as it's gonna get right up to the rattlesnake.
However, from rules; 'Pod-killing another competitor on purpose will result in disqualification.' was hardly the case.
For some reason the <insert what I think of him here> who made the new arena has put in alot of stuff in the way which halted our bhaalgorn.
Drink up, shoot in. Let the beating begin.

I wonder how many of the shield tanking pilots actually have a complete crystal implant set installed, since that could make a large difference here.

AFAIK the Bhaalgorn was taken out by <.5.> and not healed to 0.
Even if they did accidentally pod someone with SBs, it does not smaller the fight or the victory for the 5.
And with a Rattlesnake still on the field with their Bhaalgorn already dead, do you *really* think that SA would have ever won ?

both fleets begin to approach each other slowly. It looks like the KAOS fleet are using MWD while the red fleet is not. Both fleets' frigate ships are staying at the start position The RA Zealot is engaging the Deimos from long range.
