The fight:
The KAOS team move forwards as one, and the CNR of TR fires right away on the Navy Mega. The ishtar of TR has gone after the Deimos of KAOS. TR's harpy has begun a flanking maneoveur.
60 seconds in, the Navy Mega's shield has been ripped off by the CNR, as has the Deimos'. The Ishtar has unleashed an army of drones and nossing onto the Navy Mega - one has to wonder how long the Mega can sustain this amount of fire. The ishkur of KAOS is aiding the Navy Mega.
getting up to 3 minutes now, and the harpy of TR is still nowhere near the fight, and the ishtar, which was the recipient of heavy blaster fire from the Navy Issue Megathron, has popped, leaving this fight as 3v2. The CNR has moved away from the Navy Mega to the extreme end of the battleground.
Update: 5 or 6 minutes in, after heavy fire from the Deimos and Navy Mega of KAOS, the CNR has gone down but valiently. The ishkur of KAOS has managed to catch the harpy of TR finally, and with the full attention of the KAOS fleet, the harpy cannot last very long.
The battle is over after 7 minutes with KAOS holding the field, and with all their ships remaining.
Thats 2 CN Raven they destroyed so fa GJ there i must say

a Bye is when you are passed through to the next round. There was an eneven number of people in the first round so some people had to be put through to round 2 automatically instead of not letting them compete.

BTW i heard you can bet isk on the fights, is there an ingame channel where you can place you bet?

BIG and Omber Zombie were taking bets but the betting closed when the tournament started.

a free pass to the next round. Basically they pick alliances by picking pairs of "tickets" out of the proverbial hat. Since they don't have an exact power of 2 alliances in the fight, they put blank "tickets" in. Anyone who gets paired with a blank defaults to the next round.

Well done Galaxion. I was on the edge of my seat, like reading a good book. Hopefully MC can gather ALL fraps made of all fights and put together an hourlong movie of the fights. I don't care if it's 1 gig large, it would be awesome to see these powerhouse battleships from start to finish. For the alliances making it to the end, do some recording in TS of the 3 in battle, splice it into the fraps video..might make it even more edge of our seat entertainment.

I think he is moving the entire battlefield, stations, rock formations, the lot, the exact same thing only in a different system. I dont think there could thus be a difference

I don't post very often but i have to comment on this. I'm assuming they were ignorant to the fact this system shared a node with some very heavily populated systems in empire otherwise it was stupidity to choose it. So ignorance or stupidity.
I flew in the FA vs 3rd Front fight and all i did after the first 30 or so seconds was click various modules repeatedly hoping i was doing something in the fight because the client had stopped updating anything.
I'm not sore about loosing, we didn't bring anything into the fight we couldn't afford to loose, but i would have liked to been able to actually fight.

^^ nice to see people I know are still playing. o.O and that you even know who I am!
I never canceled my account, just started working too much hehe. However my skills have been training nonstop since launch. I can't say so much for my "rl" skills, I think I forgot how to fight lol. Instead I'll just watch everyone else, and maybe someday I will get back into the groove. For now I just help my roomate with agent missions.
