WOW! Might i point out the wide variety of ships that are entering the semi finals?? We have an Imperial Apocalypse for THE ROCK, Caldari Navy Raven for BOB, a Rattlesnake for THE FIVE, and finally a Navy Megathron for KAOS.
The only race we are missing are the minmater with their Macherials. For how many there were, none made it.

Sadly the Mach can't realy show it's real power without faction mods due to cpu issues.

Well i personally know my CNR's suffer from cpu issue as well. But that's when i try to fit all 7 launchers, 3 hardeners, 2 amps, and an XL. They might have modified it abit to squeeze it on, but I use faction items, which have t2 stats but lower fitting. Who knows, there's a chance the CNR and Rattlesnake (i had one of those as well, seemed to have abit of trouble too) might have the same trouble.

The first final place will go to either The ROCK and their expensive ships or BoB and their damn powerful ships. They line up in the semi like this:
ROCK: a CNR also (Jim Raynor), a Guardian support cruiser (Homo Erectus), and a Crusader (Tyrrax Thork)
BoB: a CNR (Blacklight), Eagle (Alasse Cuthalion), and a Taranis (TWD)
Note how ROCK have changed their ships, I wonder if this is the sign of a new tactic? -----------------------------------------

the two frigate ships of the sides start vertical flanking maneoveurs, and the CNR of BoB makes the Guardian their primary target.
Inside 60 seconds, BoB lose thir taranis to fire from... somewhere. The ROCK ships are trying to take don the boB stationary eagle which is being shield tanked by drones around him. Both ravens are as yet undamaged.
Update: 2 minutes in, and both battleships are locked in a stalemate trying to kill the other's cruisers, but both cruisers seem to be tanking. ROCK's interceptor is in a wide orbit of it's own battleship. This fight looks like a bit of a stalemate until someone switches targets.
4 minutes, nothing has changed and this battle looks like a total stalemate so far. However, the support cruiser looks to have a failing tank now under the fire from the CNR and Eagle of BoB. All ships are still at the starting positions.
Update: 5 minutes, both remaining BoB ships are in a flanking maneoveur towards the bottom of the battlefield, I think around the roid in the middle to get closer. The only ship not on full health is the support cruiser, which is still somehow tanking itself. -----------------------------------------

No, its called that they dont have the confidence in the survival of their imperial apoc. Which is sad because I would have liked to see it go head to head with these other faction battleships. --------

OK, whatever, it was the logistic that cost them. Changing from the Impoc was a sound tactical decision. Too bad they didn't accomodate your desires.

Galaxion, a few updates to your commentary of our fight with THE ROCK are needed:
1) Portabello's shield transfer drones were flown and were orbiting the mancitore, but did not actually repair shield. The same is true for the shield transfer module in that it did not perform its function despite repeated activation attempts. The reason for this glitch is unknown considering his missile launchers were operational, but the fact remains that the modules did not activate properly, and it was not the fault of the pilot.
2) Thaard Bof't, in his vagabond, found himself unable to change his ship's path of travel and inadvertently drifted into webifier range, which can be said to have been the primary cause of his being popped so early. Again the reason is unknown, and again this does not change the reality that an unforseen, unpredictable and non-equitable error occurred resulting in THE ROCK having a hefty advantage over NBSI by default.
3) It is also worth mentioning that the Rattlesnake was doing very well for itself even after the Manticore and the Vagabond were gone. Given a few more cap charges who knows what would have happened, and that is the reason for the complaint; the uncertainty of the outcome if the errors had not occurred.
The extreme closeness of the fight, even considering the error, instills reasonable, even cosiderable, doubt as to what the outcome would have been if everything had worked as it was supposed to. This fact alone should prompt a rematch. LeMonde was willing to grant us one, but refused to give both sides back their lost equipment and craft, and we in turn refused to pay for a problem that was in no way our fault or our doing, and THE ROCK should not be expected to do so either.
All due credit to the pilots from THE ROCK is to be given; their tactics were executed as well as they could have hoped (as far as I can tell anyway), and they get to progress to the next round. My only wish is that in such a decisive match, more effort is given and more influence is brought to bear to ensure as perfectly equitable conditions and outcomes as is humanly possible. I believe more could have and should have been done to rectify this situation, and I would hope that THE ROCK alliance would rather see our match conducted properly and with equitable conditions for both sides, as there is little pride to be had in gliding through to victory on the wings of an uncontrollable game error.
