And the fight goes as such:
The Zealot and Harpy of UCC move towards the ROCK fleet. And the Imp. Apoc MWD's straight towards the UCC battleship! The cerberus of ROCK has targeted the harpy of UCC, and the raven of UCC has engaged the cerberus.
one minute in, and the Imp. Apoc is nose to nose with the UCC Zealot, and its drones are all over the Zealot! It has now turned and is moving towards the raven of UCC which is moving backwards. Also now the harpy of UCC has been destroyed.
2 minutes in, and the cerberus has tanked the UCC raven for 2 minutes now, which is totally ignoring the Imp. Apoc, the UCC Zealot is engaging the Apoc at point-blank range.
3 minutes, and the Zealot of UCC falls to focused fire from the Apoc and the Cerberus of ROCK.
It is now the UCC raven versus the the three rock ships .the Imp. Apoc, whose drones are on it, and the cerberus.
4 minutes, and the imp. Apoc is using short-range weapons, and has closed to point-blank range over the raven
5 minutes, and the cerberus has been popped by the UCC raven, who is now turning its attention to the Imp. Apoc, but he is strugling to maintain his tank. He is also now being tackled by the Retribution of ROCK.
Update: Now 7 minutes in, and the raven's tank has failed against the close-range Imperial Apocalypse.
And it has popped.
With the Imperial Apoc and the Retribution left, the ROCK go forward to the quarter-finals.

yes, they have a mod log when they transport them. No one can cheat with out GM help, and if they have GM help then we are all screwed anyway.

The Battle:
The NBSI RAttlesnake goes straight after the harpy of ASCN, the NBSI Vaga releases its drones towards the ASCN fleet. The vaga then moves rapidly towards the ASCN fleet, where it is intercepted by the Sacriledge and the drones of the Machariel.
60 seconds in, the harpy of ASCN goes down. Meanwhile, the manticore of NBSI is going after the Mach, as is the rattlesnake. The sacriledgeand the vagabond are wayy up above the fight. The vaga is on its own right now preoccupied with drones from ASCN,
3 minutes in, the Machariel is slowly approaching the raven and manticore, which havent moved from the starting positions, and it's tank seems to be holding. Also, the rattlesnake is boosting and shielding the manticore with drones and perhaps a shield transfer. The Mach has concentrated fire on the Rattlesnake currently.
4 minutes, and the manticore and vagabond are after the sacriledge, which is taking a surely untankable amount of damage right now... and he has popped.
5 minutes in now, and NBSI have all three ships remaining to ASCN's machariel... deja vu anyone? The Mach is now being engaged at very close range by all of NBSI's ships, with the rattlesnake being very protective of its manticore.
Update: 7 Minutes in, and the rattlesnake moves away from the ASCN Mach in response to its attempts to nos the Guristas missile spammer. The Devs have extended the time, but surely only the cap of the Machariel is the thing keeping this battle going.

And the fight:
BoBb's Taranis starts a flanking approach, and the Eagle and CNR goes after the rapidly advancing enemy Zealot. In 45 seconds, it is popped!
The Machariel of AM begins its approach, but the Retribution is called primary by the BoB fleet.
Less than 2 minutes in, and it is BoBb's 3 ships to AM's Machariel. This is being tackled by the Taranis of TWD in the centre of the battlefield.
3 minutes in, and the drones of AM pop BoB's Taranis, leaving only the Machariel and the CNR which are both nossing him.
4 minutes in, the Machariel looks as though it cannot tank BoB's CNR and Eagle for much longer, it turns away and tries to get more range from the missile spamming ships.

Even I, the spectator, was on the edge of my seat chattering my fingernails on the table. The suspense was thick as fog, almost couldn't see my monitor.

What are the odds a caldari BS (either a rattlesnake or a CNR) is going to be on the team that wins this!
Pretty slim i think (by which I mean - it will almost certainly have one) 
This will no doubt lead to half the eve population rushing out to buy caldari faction BS and the other half calling for the nerfbat (again)

Next up is Tribal Souls versus Vertigo Coalition:
TS: a Caldari Navy Raven (Riotoverkill), a cerberus (Nightreign), and a Hawk (Cpt Blood).
VC: a Raven (Global Killer), a Vagabond (Coug), and an ishkur (Crusari).
and the fight:
VC's support rush over to the stationary tribe and VC's raven attempts to kill TRIBE's Cerberus. An army of enemy drones engage the ishtar of VC.
Within 60 seconds, the Vagabond of VC succumbs to the concentrated fire of TRIBE
2 minutes in now.. the VC raven is stationary at the starting point and is exchanging volleys with the CNR of TRIBE.
Less than 3 minutes in now, and the frigate of VC cant withstand the drones and fire from the Cerberus and it pops. This leaves just VC their raven which lasts les than another minute before it too goes down
In a messy battle, TRIBE retain all three of their ships and go through to a place in the quarter finals.
