A guy in general discussions mentioned this. I find it intriguing. Considering the "high tech" nature of the communications gear presumably being used, the idea of a Scanning vessel transmitting scan results to a command ship which can then transmit them to fleet members.
The idea would make scanning more realistic as a practical application.
The idea would increase the incentive to use fleet tactics and methods.
The idea would incentivize the use of command ships in fleet actions.
To make it more...demanding (as this would be a huge asset) using the hierarchy of Scanner > WING cmdr > flight cmdr > flight members, would make the function more exclusive while enhancing the playstyle of using the wing/flight formations. I found it extremely frustrating that there was no easy way to sort low, mid and high power slot modules in a way that would help fit my ship...In fact, I believe alot of my poor fitting choices stemmed from not being able to visual my options beyond that which i had been used to fitting into certain slots by limited n00b memory.

I realise that shortcuts can be made to bind the low mid and high racks to overheat, but it has to be said that the buttons on the UI for this task are absolutely tiny. They really could be 2 to 3 times the size without causing any issues, and would be much easier to use when you're in a hurry, or need to cycle them on or off and can't/don't want to use keyboard shortcuts. |

Hi. I play on a 1440p monitor, and the bookmark menu when right-clicking in space is tiny.
It'd be nice if I could use my extra pixels to display a bit more of my bookmark text.
It currently displays ~24 characters and would be nice if it was 30 or so on higher res monitors. |

It would be handy sometimes to move deployed scanner probes either back to your ship's location or to center them on the sun. In few mouse clicks probes can get way out, especially on z-axis and it would be much easier to have a reset button than trying to find where they are.
You can currently reset the formation , by clicking on one of formations buttons, but you can't reset the position. |

Change active modules so that they are only suspended but not deactivated if you jump/cloak.
I am currently seriously considering to learn Gallente or Amarr Transport Ship skill just because this annoys me so much. When I fly around in my Big Booty Box (aka Mastodon) transporting way too much valuable cargo from one place to another, I have to activate all defense systems on each jump, pressing those 3 buttons over and over again, just because they are active modules.
If those modules would remember that I activated them and re-activate themselves when I decloak after jump, that would be really appreciated. |

When I drag a drone group to someone in my watch-list they should assist that person. You can leave other actions into that right click menu (or allow configuring what is the default drag action through the right click menu).
Logistic drones dragged into someone in watch list should go out and try to repair it instead of assisting.
Fighters should be assigned by default. Here, sanity... niiiice sanity, come to daddy... okay, that's a good sanity... *THWONK!* GOT the bastard. |

The autopilot route system is nice, but a few tweaks would increase its usefulness.
I'd like to see the Autopilot accept a destination as a final waypoint, so that when you Optimize Route, it stays as the last waypoint.
Useful for traders, collecting datacores from research agents, setting up roams, and I'm sure other uses as well.
The optimize route feature is much less useful when your final destination is closer than your midway points (i.e., the system you are currently in), or lies between them.
Also on the topic of autopilot routing, with multiple waypoints that share a path/cross paths, it would be nice if you could determine which was the next system in the Overview. The highlighted icon is helpful if you aren't crossing your own path, but is less useful if you have 2 or more exits highlighted on a longer route. Yes, the next one is highlighted after jumping or undocking, and they are always in the autopilot info panel, but that is (by default) on the opposite side of the screen.
Another nice add on would be the ability to avoid empires instead of listing individual systems. If I am shoot-on-site in Caldari space (such as, a Gallente FW pilot), I have to look at each system in my route to make sure that I'm going to live through the trip. Or risk the surprise (even if not autopiloting) of finding myself under attack by the navy when I am only going through their space.
And finally on the Autopilot route, it might be interesting to be able to share a route (waypoint list) within a fleet. For instance, scouts would know the next system on a roam, stragglers would be able to catch up without a constant banter of "we're in Fliet, now we're in OMS, you're so slow we're already in Hevrice". My suggestion would be the route of one fleet member would be shareable, and the option could be toggled on or off. Probably easiest if that role was attached the Boss or the top person in the fleet hierarchy (Squadron/Wing/Fleet Commander). |

Suggestion, maybe off topic, there is a problem when you have to boost a fleet mate, scan res for ex., but when the red target come and the boost open fire he shoot the mate taking scan res bonus, lol. If you can fix that "friendly fire issue" in any way i will love you more and more. |
