Templates for contract settings for example (mass) contracting ships to corp / alliance with the same items, price, contract type, description, etc
Ability to search for contracts with 2 or more search terms (I want a moros that has a T2 trimark rig fitted for example)

BPO/BPC with ME/PE/Runs without having to view or mouse over the contract. This can either be done in the existing table, or it could appear on the contracts itself. Example: http://imgur.com/ZRyOlg7
The other way would be to simple have a column which would state ME / PE / RUNS. You could sort the list by each then. And the search filter could incorporate this as well to be able to search for it. |

* Create same contract multiple times with ease. Like, contracting the same fitted ship for 20 contracts is boring. * Why can't i see the contents of my own courier contract I created? I hate deleting courier contracts just because i forgot what item I sent to where, and suddenly needed to check. |

It would be quite useful to have a sorting function "by jumps" .
Aside from that, the "pick location" option currently has no way of removing added locations that I would know of.
The "exclude unreachable stations" could use a secondary option to filter by standings with settings like alliance / excellent / good. (even if you don't want to include a filter to directly know if its possible to dock or not)
The contracts start page should actually include a direct link to a list of all currently active personal & corporate sale / auction contracts. (making that up to 4 direct links) |

For courier contracts, allow user to set a predefined load value (say 900000m3) If items selected exceed the predefined load then automatically sort from the selected items a cargo manifest that fits the predefined load limit.
Would make shipping raw materials much much easier :)

only thing with contracts I'd like to see is the following
1) allow players to buy / bid regardless of region 2) when contracting a fitted ship with ammo still in the launchers or turrets it contracts everything regardless 3) when setting a buy or sell price allow easier use with the following
I want to sell something for 150,000,000 but instead of typing out 150,000,000 allow people to also type it out in abbreviation such as 150mil. |

While the current contract system works, I think a way of helping it along would be divving up some of its functions into separate gameplay mechanics. I would like item shipping to be an entirely separate part of the game to be invested in; An idea would be to have item shipping with NPCs via interbus as was originally intended, and have tariffs placed on them in relation to location, distance, etc. So you could have your stuff shipped within lowsec, but it would cost a bit more than shipping things the same distance over hisec due to distances involved. You could do the same thing in nullsec, except the tariffs would go towards whoever owns the stations there. It would be a great way to make some passive income if you extended it to PI and the customs offices; you could have them ship various materials and goods from office to station at a price that's taxed from the custom office's owner.
The trick would be balancing it so it's always more cost-effective to move it in a freighter over this method. The difference being that it would take significantly less time at the cost of extra expense. You could even expand on this further by making the NPC corps have active stocks and shares based off of their returns from player taxes and general randomness with in-game lore stuff going. If they have some in-game event that's unfavorable to one faction over the other, you'll see stock prices for their shares go up and down just as you would in the real world. it would be expanding on the market in all the right ways, and adding an actual stock exchange to the game would add a lot of realism and be and interesting way to open the game up a bit. |

Echoing the feeling that worrying about scams is not necessary. The information needed to avoid contract scams is present and clearly presented, no further handholding should be necessary.
Bold+italics on quotes.
1) When copying corporate courier contracts, it should default to the hangar you used last (instead of forcing you to pick one, defaulting to "pick one" instead of any hangar at all).
2) When copying courier contracts, if it is possible to add the same items to the new contract as the old one, either because the stack already exists pre-made or you can break out another 90m trit from your 2.1b trit stack, it should do so automatically.
Both of these. To point two in particular, that generalizes as "If I am creating a contract using items present in my hangar in a stack, it should automatically split the stack for me and include the correctly sized stack in the contract, I should not have to split the stacks myself."
contracts available to anyone with a blue standing would be great This would also be fantastic.
3. Add a context sensitive drop area to the contracts window. Items which are dropped on the area should automatically be entered into new contract with the same details as the open window (availability, drop-off, price, reward, collateral etc) and open the dialog on the confirm page with all the other details filled in. +1 for drag & drop.
Say I've contracted 1 fit ship. Let me copy that contract and have it pick all the loose parts from my hangar floor and turn it in to a duplicate of the fitted ship on contract (including things in cargo holds). Having a contract automatically fit the ship for me like this, regardless of whether I can fly it or use the modules, would be insanely awesome, though having it automatically split stacks for me is a close substitute.
I'd simplify the drug thing further -- just remove all the weird restrictions on drugs in general. It was a fun idea, but it's mechanically awful and is invalidating an interesting industry and a useful PvP edge for the sake of thematics. This, really. It's almost certainly the largest reason why boosters are so underused.
Make fitted ships in contacts easier to view. The current "Wall of text" is a pain in the arse. Can we use the same ship view that we use to view ship fittings? This would be nice, or at a minimum collating modules, so instead of eight rows of "Tachyon Beam Laser" I just see "Tachyon Beam Laser x8"
Please Please Please integrate with the market window in some way. One example might be, you click/search pyrite and see market stuff on one tab, and contract stuff another tab with the ability to filter out multiple items. Would be nice. Filter options in general are badly lacking.
2) Better BPC trading interface
Try to use the contract interface to purchase a Process-decrypted (1 run, -1 ME, -1 PE) Kronos BPC now and you will see what I mean here - you cannot tell without looking at the contract which ones have which ME/PE. The current interface is terrible for BPCs. Yep!
4) Totally redesign the "Available Contracts" page.
Have the system automatically categorize item exchange contracts as "Fitted Ship", "Multiple Fitted Ships", "Ship Fitting Without Hull", "Blueprint Collection", "Single Blueprint" and other categories including one catchall. Let us filter by categories (i.e. if I want a Kronos BPC, I can look under "Single Blueprint" and "Blueprint Collection" without having to see Kronos-related entries such as a fitted Kronos with a faction module BPC in it, which would come up as a false positive under the current search system). Good way of considering the above "better filter options".
6) The ability to define a personalized nearly-complete contract that you can then issue to many people. For instance, I'd love the ability to create a contract where I give 3 Catalyst hulls, 24 Light Neutron Blaster II, 312 Void S, 6 meta 1 SeBo, 9 Magnetic Field Stabilizer II, 3 Small Hybrid Collision Accelerator, 3 Small Hybrid Burst Aerator, and I receive 30m ISK, and name this contract "Ganker Love Package #3". Generally speaking, contract templates. I can save ship fittings, why not this as well? Combine with ability to create multiple contracts at once and "copy contract" can just go away entirely.
Players make repeating payments for stuff all the time, principally renting space. Since there is currently no ability for corps and allainces to issue bills, right now everthing is handled manually by pulling wallets and trying to sort out who paid for what this month. Its a complete PITA.
A "repeating payment" contract would allow players to set up a regular payment for a fixed amount every week / month / day etc. Breaking or cancelling this contract is pretty easy ( cancel the contract or leave the wallet empty ). And the scam potential would be useful too. This would be really great. The key is the "repeating" thing really.
1. Show the comments by issuer as one of the columns in the contract listings And show them in a pop-up if the text is too long for the column.
It would also be great if we could put up some kind of stacked contract, where a single contract slot provides multiple indentical contracts that can be accepted either as singles or as mutliples. Good alternative take on the multiple contract thing. Member of the Goonswarm Economic Warfare Cabal |

Other things of my own: It'd be nice if expired contracts just returned to the hangar automatically, and if won auctions just delivered their isk or item automatically. Uneccessary clicking here.
Echoing again the "streamline creation" process, it's clickier than needed.
More contract slots please, the fact that I individually can get 300 market slots but only 21 contracts is silly.
A bug exists for mass courier contracts wherein if you have more than 100, contracts randomly become undeliverable until you lower the number.
"Copy Contracts" is nice and should basically skip me straight to the final confirmation window. I chose "copy" for a reason, I should not have to click through the whole damn list again (and re-select items, in the case of a courier).
Allow delivery of courier contracts to POS structures.
I probably have more and I'd like to prioritize some of the ones I highlighted above, but gotta get to work. Member of the Goonswarm Economic Warfare Cabal |

As a seller I'd rather set up that kind of contract and as a buyer I'd much rather purchase X units from a stack than have to individually accept X single units. |

Especially for a group where "fitted ships are on contract", finding the fitted ships is a PITA. Expand contract slots this way, and I'd be a happy logistician.
+1 for being able to put up standings-limited contracts. I can think of several ways NMG would be able to use this on (merc) contracts, and of course it's of use to anyone who lives with blues, especially in an area where you *can't* just lock reds out of station (highsec, lowsec, NPC 0.0, Providence for neutrals).
For me, I'd like to see a "return" option on courier contracts-- that is, "I can't complete this contract, but here's your stuff back". Why? Well, I accidentally accepted a JF package from Sendaya, back when BL *and* PL were staging there. It contained a container, meaning that with the plastic wrap, it was now *two* containers and impossible to contract back to its owner. This created a bad situation where their stuff was locked in my hangar because of two screwups and some unfortunate mechanics. http://warp-to-sun.tumblr.com -- my blog |

Just so happens I posted about some improvements to the contract system just recently.
Quote:One of the things I do to help out my corp is to provide fitted ships on contract. This works nicely because I have the resources to get stuff shipped in and fitted easier than many peeps. Private corp contracts are perfect because you can create 500 of them so I'm not going to run out any time soon.
The main problem is the expiry date. Maximum of 2 weeks is just too short. I've got all different ships and fits available depending on what we decide we're doing so it's easy to go 2 weeks without a particular fit being in demand at all. This leads to a situation where I create all my contracts and then 2 weeks later, those that haven't sold expire and I need to recreate them.
To get around this I've started just having 1 or 2 of each fitting on contract at once but that can lead to problems if a specific fit is called for and I'm not online to create new contracts.
What I REALLY need is a longer expiry option for corp contracts. 1 month would be okay, 2 would be good, 6 months would be perfect. (any longer than that is unnecessary imo)
Other things that would be nice:
Show the description of the contract in the list. Currently people have to either click into each one or figure out what's in the contract from the price. I get that this could be abused by scammers for public contracts so maybe do something like display the name of the hull if there is just one hull in there? Just need something to identifiy what's in the contract really.
Increased limit to alliance level contracts. Why allow 500 contracts to corp but only 28 (or whatever it is) to alliance? |

I tend to do these at massive scale so my suggestions will be from the enabler viewpoint for bloc level supply.
Multisplit - The ability to split a stack of items into multiple stacks. So I can tell it to give me 100 stacks of 3 quantity each. Instead of having to get carpel tunnel and want to kill yourself doing it manually.
Hanger memory - Remembering which hanger it is pulling from when using copy contract for courier contracts. This is insanely irritating especially when another hanger has 1 of the same module you are trying to contract. It will "see" that one first if it is in a lower hanger division #.
More Saved Cargo - Adding in more types than just fuel/ammo/scripts etc. Most loadouts require extra modules that aren't fit but left in cargo. It would be great if we could save these in saved fittings and have them autoloaded to cargo like other types are. The number one example is rigs in cargo.
Standings based pricing/availability - Alliance/Public is fairly limited and it would be great to see the ability to list based on standings. Pricing being variable would be a nice plus but just icing. Listing to "blues" is far more useful.

Please allow boosters or 'contraband' items to be able to be put inside public contracts. There is already a warning box which appears before you attempt to undock with a contraband item in your cargo, or when you attempt to jump into a system where an item in your cargo would be considered contraband. You could add a warning window to a contract that contains contraband items, and maybe add an optional filter which filters out contracts which contain contraband items for those people who want to avoid them.
Would it be possible to extend the amount of time that a contract can be issued. 14 days isn't really enough for some contracts, putting up some 'rare' modules/items which aren't listed on the market can often take several relists before they sell. Maybe you could double the current limit which is 14 to 28? This would be short of 1 month, <30 days so a character would have to re-plex to re-issue a contract (if that's a concern) and would still be 3x shorter than the current market cap. |

A) Add an XML API feed where we can query currently open public contract with the same type calls that we can do online. B) Add an ability to filter while viewing a contract. When there is a contract up with 200 items in it, it'd be really nice to filter for just the ships in it. C) When viewing ships in a contract it'd be nice if we could see total items in a ship and have an expand option so we can easily see what is fit to what ship and then decide how much screen real estate it takes up. D) A search option to search for fit ships. While the T3 subsystems sdkillbooks rather than subsystems is a commonly used scam it gets really annoying having to open 30 scams to find an actually fit T3. E) An ability to save commonly used searches. F) The ability to change the price of a contract without canceling it or a refund of the listing cost for canceled public contracts. |

Note: Make it possible to ship Ores, "ammo types" or 'Special Bay' groups in special contracts. Make it so that they get a wrap of one of the special hold types. Since we have now special bays in Transport Ships, transporters should be able to utilize them (and it would give a reason to train racial industry to V again).
Such a wrap could be shipped in the special bay type of the sort chosen or in a general freight area. I could image that the special wraps would all have a different color, to make it easier for the transport organisations in EVE. Just limit the max. size of the contracts based on the maximum volumes of the volume bays. |

Also another idea that should be implemented if it hasn't already and hopefully would be a "little thing" would be a "contract valuation".
Aka just like inventory and cans and now reprocing as of summer all give you the average market value of goods involved, the contract should also show the average value of goods included. |
