enhanced that for you.
But really, naming contracts would be a huge improvement (apart from making it a bit easier for the scammers, but hey... ^^) Maybe display the ship type in the name if the contract has just one fitted ship in it? |

Suggestion : Make a menu item when having a stack selected in any inventory surrounding of a station. Name it 'send to inventory and start contract wizzard' Keywords : Inventory, UI, contracts Note: When starting a distribution cycle, I have set upto a multitude of destination (as in trade locations) containers with stuff in it. I have to send them stack by stack to inventory, find them and contract the group after selecting again. This is made easyer by filters, but some groups just cant be filtered. Now I move them stack by stack to containers with destination labels and contract them out. This works fine between alts, but when working with PushX or RedFrog this is horrible.
Found this one somewhere in my little things history, still would like this. |

Some little things are missing :
1) Create buy contract with the ability :
- to check weather we want copy or original
- to define the "minimum" ME/PE allowed to fulfill the contract
- to define the minimum run if we want a copy
2) Being able to set a "max range" to fulfill a buy contract (station, solar system etc) : market orders have the same, why don't contracts ? |

This is particularly interesting for CCs, but I think also other contract types could benefit from it:
I want to have an expandable section when I click on the "show route" link and actually see the route in a glance fashion just like the autopilot route view. If I then still want to view the route on the map, I can access that via another link within this expandable section.
Fancy picture to illustrate.
Benefits are obvious: Since you are unable to set filters to exclude contracts, especially CCs with 00/Low sec on the route, you currently have to set route to find that out. This information, in my opinion however, should be included and be visible in the contract window itself. Determining the destination/pickup station type should also be quicker, which is achieved by this |

Samira Kernher wrote:Please make it so that what you pay and what you receive are kept in visually distinct areas. With current contracts, it can be very easy to confuse players as to the actual payment/payout of contracts.
To clarify, as an example it is currently possible to make a contract read:
--- You will pay:
You will receive:
You will pay: ---
With the pay/receive fields going in alternating order. When the 'you will receive' section is a large list of items, the second 'you will pay' field beneath it can fail to register in people's conscious, especially if it is very small.
What I would recommend, instead of a simple alternating vertical readout, would be to divide it into clearly separated horizontal sections. Ideally, each section should also have its own independent scrollbar.
........Pay.......................................................Receive........ You will pay: (Isk)..............|..............You will receive: (Isk) ..........................................|.......................................... You will pay: (Items)..........|..............You will receive: (Items) This is a simple and fantastic idea as well as being able to drag and drop items into a contract.

An information about legality of courier contract ware would be nice.
I don't think I can look in a sealed container. Contracter may be able to put their stuff into secure container and create contracts for closed packages. |

I can see a lot of potential scams arising from that one.
Biggest one for me is do not allow the same item in "gives" and "gets" as its just silly and annoying to have to look for every time you look at a contract. |

I'd like to see the option to remove items that can't be contracted as an 'X items can't be contracted, would you like to remove?' pop up deal.
As a formerly low sec Pirate, trying to go through hundreds of items and find the 1 or 2 drugs that can't be contracted is an immense pain. Why would you be contracting stuff? If you were out of station and contracting it to a carrier alt or main to move. The Law is a point of View |

I would like to be able to put up Corporate and Alliance level contracts without having required access to a corporate wallet (If I want to feed the alliance myself with contracts, let me).
The interface should be clearer also.
I also kinda wish you could deliver contracts to a POS (I don't see it happening).

i've seen the new upgrade for fitting ship without skill for contractin.
many corp make a lot of fitted ship in contract for corp\ally but the limit of 2 week only is too short if we consider a big amount of ships and usually only few people have roles to make these contract.
It would be awesome extend (even for only corporation ) the time limit to 1 month.

The ability to create multiple of the same contract would be cool.
Say I have 30x5 run BPCs, I would very much like to create:
30 contracts for 1 bpc Or 3 contracts for 10 bpc's
And so on, if the UI can be tweaked to make this quicker that would be awesome. The current - right click, create contract, select item bleh bleh bleh starts heading off into track and field gamers claw after a while.
Cheers

CCP SoniClover wrote:Hello Capsuleers. We're looking into what small improvements we can make to the contract system to make it more useful and trustworthy. We would love to hear any feedback from you guys on this. We're most interested in suggestions for UI/usability improvements and comments on pain points you encounter in using the system. The more constructive the feedback is the better; 'Get rid of the scammers' is for example not particularly helpful.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Can we up the max number of items allowed in contracts? 250 items is not enough. On that note why even have a cap?

I've completed over 6000 courier contracts for several courier corps. While many posts in this thread focus on setting up various types of item exchange contracts (or large numbers of contracts), my comments apply ONLY to receiving a courier contract.
First and foremost, the courier contract window needs to have an indicator next to any assigned contracts (but not accepted) where the cargo contains either a plastic wrap or assembled container. Most courier corps double wrap for a variety of reasons, and without going into this alot those damn containers surprise us haulers, and then we have to do alot of extra work. Haulers would rather see the "container/plastic wrap" flag set, and then go back and work with the customer to get the contract remade. I'm sure to some degree this applies to corp haulers too.
The ideal solution would be allowing triple wrapping or quad wrapping, but I suspect there's a substantial programming obstacle to this. Most likely the DB schema for courier contracts won't support it, or infinite wrapping would be onerous for users in some way I don't understand.
On another topic, rejected courier contracts need to autodelete after some period of time. Let's say a month. The items in the rejected courier contract would be place back in the issuer's hangar at the starting point by the system. I've opened tickets with CCP to have this done, but they won't intervene even when the player issuing the rejected courier contract and their whole corp failed to log on for weeks/months.
Yuri Fedorov said "Please add the region name of the destination/ drop off system in courier contracts. Currently only the name of the pickup station's region shows." I'd like to also make this request. |

No, if we can accept a public contract from anywhere, then we'd lose the fun of racing each other to that region to claim a high value public courier contract before anyone else does. I have many region boundaries bookmarked so I can head for the closest one. Otherwise people would be sniping them from 60 jumps away when others are closer and available.
Private contracts can already be accepted from any region, as they should be.

Didn't read the other suggestions. lol, yolo, trollface
Anyway, I'd like to see a contract option for delayed completions of the terms given to the second party. Example: I have 100 tritanium and I want my friend to turn it into a widget. Contract says he gets the 100 tritanium now and either he delivers my widget in x number of days or i get the 1b collateral he put up when he accepted the contract. If he delivers the widget in a timely manner, then he gets his 1b back and an additional 100 isk as payment according to the contract terms.
Edit: I suppose what I'm asking for could be conceived of as accepting a contract which, itself, contains another contract with different terms. |

Not sure if these have been brough up before but, specifically for courier contracts:
New Search Criteria Route Length in Jumps Pickup location (in addition to the destination location we already have) Add sliders to the pickup and destination location so I can search for all contracts (for example) that start within 3 jumps of Amarr and end within 3 jumps of Jita so I can more easily maintain a full cargo hold.

Fix courier contracts security filter : they only take pickup and dropoff locations into account, and we have to manually inspect each contract to make sure the route is not going through low/null if we only want highsec routes for example. |
