here are my top 5, which are elements which are over looked as, lets face it, they are poo and need looking at.
1. Smuggling mechanics 2. new mining mechanics/ stuff - make it interesting please 3. better war mechanics - make it mean something 4. revamped bounty system - again make it mean something, and stop people claiming bounties on themselves with an alt. 5. FW of course
and if enough time is left

In no particular order, but all very overdue and important:
- Clean up everything. New features are great but cleaning up old stuff makes it new and fresh and more useable.
- For the love of God help the miners. Hulks cost more than HAC's but don't tank as well as T1 cruisers. Nerf the build cost or give them some value.
-KILL ALL BOTS - They're horrible for the game and you really need to make a huge push to get them out. At the same time re-examine why so many activities are botted - 4 min cycles on ice is ********, only a bot would do it.
- FW - Cops vs Robbers, Pirates vs Police. Has nearly unlimited mileage and it's the oldest theme in the game. Whoever has sov gets the gate guns on their side.
Since we got CQ we might as well make it useful. Bring over all the cool dust artwork, the uniforms, body armor and guns and sell them in the NEX, CHEAP.
Sov -- Time to be Fearless. Get rid of local in null and mobile bubbles. You want them back, earn it. Add a couple boosts to, a sov upgrade with CS a style bonus, +1 to armor, sheild, speed, range, per sov level. Sov has to be worth more than just cyno jamming.
Personal offices - same as corp but you can organize you stuff with the handy tabs. Could be a popular isk sink which we very much need.
Last but not least -- ORBITAL BOMBARDMENT Dust bunnies beware . |

-New UI. Refinish it or make it more fancy, we arent in 2005 anymore.
-Missile launchers Re-design the Launcher/Missile look. Turrets got their loving now we caldari noobs need some too.
-Moar ships? Nuff said, always fun to get new toys, obviously balancing issues and such so its no big deal.
-Finish V3 Amarr Minmatar, leave stations and that stuff for later. (I suspect this)
-Crucible 2.0 More little fixes here and there it is quite wonderful and Im so pleased to see these changes.
-Concerning Highsec income. Leave it as it is, make 0.0 more profitable.
-Low sec? It seems to have its purpose. I aint complaining whats that? Pirates shoosting unsuspecting victims and lvl 5's
-The 5th sub: New mining ships give mining bonuses for sneaky deep core mining ops and such. I actually suggested this a while back but meh.
-Walking in stations I mean who doesnt want to go shopping for clothes and have a drink after a long day of missioning
-Overview Make it less cluttered. This is probably no easy task. I mean, it works well as is but everyone wants the "ah" factor in eve and theres great potential, I lack the awesome capabilities of thinking of a better version.
-Accessories give us little pets and stuff to follow us around when we can walk around in the mal.. Station.
-PVE More missions More incursions (Giving versatility to each level and such)
-Mining Make the player interact more and increase the isk made I guess
-Ingame interaction events More of this is always fun adding a story, maybe make Sleepers more mysterious etc

And yeah if it took 3 weeks for the guys from WoD to get all those little changes into the expansion, seriously what have you been playing at ccp.
Imo just pull those few guys off WoD and put them into team papercuts for the rest of all time. If thats what they did in 3 weeks, think how much they can fix in the next 12months if they are allowed to do so. |

2. Have HQ mean something. Have it political in the EVE story line if placed in High sec Empire or can only be in Hi-sec
3. Remove highway jumps and add more low sec connections to High-sec and low-sec
4. Have NPC corps in a embargo war with each other. The can't enter the high-sec of the warring NPC Empire. Example: Amarr corp members can only travel in High-sec Amarr space, low-sec and null.
5. Bring back BoB, force the Goons to give back the name to its rightful owners.

This would blanket hopefully most of the eve concerns right now. I might be neglecting industry a bit, but I think they should be more involved with the rest of the game, not less. Mindless mining is mundane in my opinion, I'd rather industrialists have to set up mining structures in belt and then haul ore and defend the structures.

Adding some more site types and making them a bit more random would also help. 5) Fix mining and drone drops to reduce the ability to bot. At the same time, give the mining ships a slight tank/fitting boost such that real players have a chance of surviving, especially with the new tier 3 battle cruisers...

1 - Faction War. I may consider dabbling in it then.
2 - Normal Mining. Multiple suggestions already here, main point is to make it worthwhile and difficult to bot. Removing Ice completely (replace with PI product) would be nice here.
3 - Moon Mining. Use the POCO/PI mechanic and allow individuals to mine the moon rather than just a select few. Also the POCO should be anchored as replacement of POS, cannot have both at the same moon.
4 - Tweak to Incursion payout in High (see Har Harrison's post above).
5 - If you're going to keep NeX, allow the ability to pay AUR (and several days offline) to completely zero-out a character's standings. This includes agent standings/history, so tag missions should be usable again. Cost should be major (1.5 PLEX?) in order to pay for the guy who will be making DB changes.
I may have come here from Myst Online, but that does not make me any less bloodthirsty than the average Eve player.
Just more subtle.

Small gank warfare which actually got any meaning in null sec / apart the bomber squads.
faction warfare which got some meaning on the power of four main empire factions. Losing systems, gaining systems, increasing dominance and wealthfare of the faction you fight for or even more so adding pirate faction to the equation 
Sovereignty changes / altho i dont really mind shooting TCUs and SBUs, and i am not well informed at this subject so i leave it at that.

It should beome increasingly difficult and expensive the larger the Alliance gets until it reaches a point of near-impossiblity. 3. A lot of my characters are pretty old and back then you were handed around 800k SP to start. So now, years later I have these nice focused characters with a block of useless SP that I get annoyed looking at. Either a combat character with a bunch of indy crap or an inventor with a bunch of missile/gun skills that just bung up my skill sheet.
Anal I know. But I like to have the best focus I can for my characters and useless skills I didn't want in the first place make me shudder to look at in Eveboard or Evemon.
Doesn't even need to be a million SP remap. Fifty or a hundred thousand would be plenty. Or Just the option to delete skills I don't want. But every time I have petitioned for a skill deletion ( That's delete. As in no refund), they've shot me down. I think I'm grown up enough to make the choice of deleting skills I don't want.

Here are some in which I just thought of off the top of my head. (I'm sure they will change the next time I log on)
1. Some redesigned ships. 2. T3 frigates. 3. Drone engine trails. 4. A gang warp option. (Waits for all ships in fleet to be aligned before warping a single ship) 5. (I know this is a big one) Walking inside your ship, boarding other ships to do P2P interactions, trading, briefing rooms, etc. etc.

Read through all 44 pages of the CSM/CCP meeting like the thoughts but I want to see some unused portions of the game get some attention.
1) Why do snakes get a bonus to smuggling make it a separate set of implants and do more with smuggling as a career maybe even a way to hide/use drugs in high sec (mods/rigs/skills) Tie it in to WIS; IE you can sell them off market or something.
2) FW everyone wants to see it not suck
3)NERF the hell out of vanguards they make WAY to much isk.
4) Fix the way politics work in eve corporations not everything should need to be put to a vote if no one owns shares in the corp, it wastes my time.
5) Do your drake thing it needs to be brought back to the level of other T1 BC on that note also please make sensor damps be more useful to fleets.
6) Electronic attack frigs need some love just like assault frigs, and not just to be able to tackle MOMS.
WiS is cool but very few people would like to walk around when they could be bashing each others brains out in space focus 90% of your efforts on Ships and 10% on standing around in a station. |

Revamped POS's POS and Industry UI improvements Corporation Management improvements (roles and UI) Mini-professions improvements (bounty hunting, smuggling) Removal (or revamp) the tier system (to make some ships which are useless now better)
I would like to see a new ship, either in the form of a T2 Logistics Frigate, a new Destroyer hull (and then a corresponding new Dictor) or a new Hic. But I would rather see a removal or revamp to the tier system before a new ship. |

Off grid boosting needs a nerf... Dont cripple it, but make on grid get more bonuses. So off grid == 2% on grid get full.
Making snipping viable again. Address more/older ship bonuses/unused ships. Some sort of "hideout" ship. As of now setup a POS. etc etc. A cloaked up "orca type ship" that you can leave would be nice. It could use POS fuel as well to stay in this mode/roam. Passive armor tank that uses a nanite type repair paste to regen armor. |

A frigate that uses cruiser sized weapons. Could be an existing platform. Why? Because the new T3 Battlecruisers actually opened up something for newer players in the form of a (somewhat) smoother transition from medium sized ships to large. Could be something similar for frigs. They've hinted that they want new blood, and people have hinted that the assault frigate changes are a bit underwhelming...win/win?
Beyond that, I'm not experienced enough with the big stuff outside of reading the hell out of the forums. The changes people have listed above by everyone else seem pretty much standard fare for what people want. Corp tools, leadership tools, faction warfare and ship tweaking here and there...all that good stuff. |

3- Modular POS (This excellent idea has been floating around for YEARS, its been necroed and renecroed so many times I've lost count).
4- lolsec buff. It just isn't worth going to lowsec. You can make just as much, if not more in hi sec if you know what your doing. (I see a lot of potential here with faction warfare. Make it happen CCP.)
5- Fix the mineral economy. Minerals should primarily come from mining. Rats should drop way more tags and way less modules. (Said tags should be usable in LP stores). Rogue drones need a serious looking at too.

A hideout can be docked in and has access to a "black market" which allows the sale/resale of smuggler's goods. However it has no access to the legal market.
2. Make the consequences for being an outlaw more severe, yet more rewarding. Have outlaws immediately crim-flagged when they are -10, but allow for the sabotage/temporary disabling/sentry interference of gate/station guns. 5. Make all war-declarations on pirate corps completely free, and add loyalty points for the destruction of pirate ships (the bigger the ship, the bigger the reward). I would love to see Tech3 Battleships, but I just cannot see them being workable in practice. A hull that costs up to 2billion before you have even fitted subsystems is going to be such a ganking target it will be unreal. Yes, they will be the most powerful sub-cap ships in the game, but they will always be primary/secondary in any fight.
On the other hand, a Tech2 version of the Tier3 battleships/battlecruisers would be a great addition  |

CCP should set up a small website that players have to log into and they can vote once per account for the feature they would like to see next. CCP still have some controls as they will be the ones that put up the list of available options, have a right to veto, and can work with the suggestion alongside other features that benefit the company. This seems the most fair and democratic way of making as many people as possible happy. I would very much doubt that large amounts of measures would need to be put in to prevent the manipulation of this system as very few people that play this game would like development to change negatively. Perhaps if you vote for a features that makes it out during window A, your vote is worth less in window B to allow the minority groups some features love, but to also allow the diversity of features across eve. This could be a page found on the account management area, or better still a very small interface in game.
CCP tells us all the time they recognise that we are just as equal stakeholders as players as they are in the game, this could allow the players more direct control that isn't currently felt through the CSM. Hell, find me somewhere to live and cover the flights, i'll head over to Iceland and set it up for you :P |

In terms of ship balance I would like to see the following
1. Overhaul/Adjust the tier 1 faction cruisers. Navy Exequror / Navy Osprey / Fleet Sycthe / Navy Augoror are the least flown faction ships in the game. they were introduced in Empyrean Age (in an environment where nano was op) and not changed or adjusted since, which they probably should have done since I believe they came out in a kind of pre-nerf state given how nano was OP back then. Then QR hit and they basically were never flown and are outclassed by a lot of ships. 2. Electronic Attack Frigates Buff. Every other t2 frigate has recieved a round of buffs which just puts these 'pre-nerfed' ships even further behind. 3. Make Tier 1 Cruisers, and some of the Frigates that are currently worthless or overpriced shuttles into something worth flying. 4. Boost the bad ships that are currently overshadowed by their peers. Most notable for being bad Eris - Sacrilege - Eos 5. Buffs for t2 battleships. Maruders - Buff the sensor strength up to regular BS strength or a bit higher. I still don't think you'll see them everywhere due to cost, and they mostly offer similar levels of gank/tank compared to other tech I battleships other than the better active tanks and cargo space. Black Ops. - Allow EAS to use BO jump Portal, Add the cloaked velocity bonus as a role bonus and give them all an extra DPS orientated Bonus to encourage them to not be cargo expanded pos huggers + Remove the **** agility bonus from the Sin. |

Something neat like being able to overclock your ship's CPU, or overcharge the reactor before undocking. You get structural damage over time, but can obviously fit more stuff. The higher the overclock, the more structure damage. Buff hull reps, too, and you'll see some really interesting fits! |

2. T3 frigates, small and fun, what could go wrong here? Just don't put interdiction nullifiers on them.
3. Industry and Mining overhaul. This is beyond past due. I just filed my taxes faster than I can install a rorqual compression job
An untanked hulk costs nearly as much as a fleet fit maelstrom. Assualt frigates with t2 mods, which total at around 30 mil, tank better than a hulk with faction and deadspace gear, which total at around 500-600 mil.
Nullsec is supposed to be self sufficient? Dude, where's my trit?
4. Corp/pos role mgmt and interface overhaul. Oh dear god, where to start? I typed out a long rant on each of these, but decided I should shorten and then seperated it into 4 and 5 Its currently impossible to do anything without giving everyone roles for everything, this leads to people creating solo/alt corps for anything important that requires real security. How is this good? You will not see my 300 bil BPO collection displayed in some thief's brag thread. Nor will some idiot "mistakenly" abort my titan build.
Give us a little more flexibility and security options in how we run our PLAYER OWNED stuff
A distinction between Player Owned Starbases and Corp Owned Starbases would be a major help with this issue, see #5
5. POSs and COSs Yeah, I went there. Give POSs an option to be player or corp owned. Or create a different item
Leave the COS interface/role mgmt the way it is (let out your inner sadist), or make it player friendly.
POSs should require a role, but once the tower is up, everything about that tower should be that person's decision. ie roles or individuals with access, job access, hanger use
Blueprints should be usable from players personal or the corp hanger in system, if that player has access to the tower and array. This would give a player control over the blueprint, as opposed to being required to put it in the corp hanger and giving everyone under the sun access to steal it. Yes, you can change the roles (everyone doing production has access, and every director has every role) and you can lock it down (which bugs every time when you try to unlock it), but none of that would be necessary if it was in your personal hanger.

I definitely want to see Tech3 Mining/Industrial ships.
There is clearly a need for defensive subsystems, owing to the popularity of ganking them (Hulkageddon/GoonIceInterdiction).
And Tech3 Frigates.
And a reworking/boost of all Tech2 Battleships. |

2: Data center missions can be reset with a reset mission. You need 10 Serpentis copper tags to run the Serpentis Data Center, you need 10 Shadow Serpentis copper tags to reset it. (put it on a timer, or not. I don't know what the drop ratios are month to month on those compared to thier lesser version, You would need to figure that out if a timer is needed and decide)
3: Vet rewards - They don't need to be game breaking, they can be Aurum or ISK based and account wide, something to say you are paying attention to loyalty.
4: An alternative source of Moon mats. Monopoly tactics create cartels. Mining isn't exclusive to Asteroid belts. There are recycled assets to off set the lack of desire to mine. There should be off sets to moon mining.
5: More loot. Don't tell us what they are, what they are for, how rare they are. Something that reclaims lost mystery to EVE. |
