a few points
a) all pirate and other groups including the north, the empire alliances and corp and the southerners (heck even RA and LV) might get dragged in here. Id like to see BOB attack RA as well just to drag them in
b) pirates are us in delve my bet is ASCN will attempt to take a BOB region and BOB will be over in ASCN space
c) its been a open secret as soon as ASCN or anyone else got a titan BOB would attack
d) yarr  and lag node deaths kaboom 4tw
e) good luck to all sides and unassocated parties if this does become a full war (ie both sides go in carebears and all and fight all over eve and drag others in)then ship prices are going to go northwards
f) thats about it here comes fun (homer simpson)

You know as soon as I posted that I regretted it.
What I should have said is "It's a technical issue, whether its an issue of morals or not is besides the point".
edit: As for questionable methods being used to deliberately create lag, I've seen it to. Very recently infact, we're letting it slip this time though.

Yes and we have been on the receiving end of them. What happened to those that sploited against us? Errr nothing.
So what if Cyvok got a bit ****ed off that our enemies were allowed to do these things and when we complained were told "its not a sploit"

Jazzbo, i agree you can't ask for fair fight's etc, but they were talking of purposely crashing the node to defend, affecting people on a galactic level. Personally that would p##s me off because i enjoy a good scrap even if lag is bad and i die or whatever.
But enough on that and back on topic, i missed the great northern war  because i had not long started and i pray that this will be an extremely hard and bloody campaign with battles every day all day. Gl to both side's, especially my brother's in arm's

I hope someone gets some fraps footage of the Titan's Vs. Titan's fight as that will be great for the archive's as well as the first titan(s) lost in EVE.

All this over dramatization and exaggeration of BoB members thoughts and actions, makes me all warm and fuzzy.
Fact is that this is a game and if certain people in this game think that its ok to crash the server to stop another party from getting their moneys worth then thatÆs completely their decision, but don't for a second think that we're gonna start whining and crying. We've dealt with some tw@ts in this game and it's never stopped us before. Either get some popcorn and beer and kickback for an event that will be remembered for the rest of EvE history or sit their trying to stir the cauldron with a chop stick.

600 people coming to get a fight is a totally different thing from 200 people coming to crash a node. Lag will be present in both situations. This was an issue of moral stance.
Requesting fair fights? don't think BoB has ever done that nor do i see it happening here, as lag has nothing to do with fairness or not.
If BoB member's start using lag as an excuse for losing or failing in any other way then you can make your point.
