Since it's a Windows app, whatever skin you have chosen for Windows will be the skin for EFT.
I have several custom visual styles for Windows and have Windowblinds installed. Some examples:

Found an error: Saving as image, EFT does not filter bad characters and trying to save file name as is. In my case it was Hyperion - Hyperion: Ion Test (PvP Setup).jpg and all fitting were saved as "Ion Test (PvP Setup).jpg" stream in file "Hyperion - Hyperion" of zero size. Thanks CCP for cu |

looks like i found an error:
eft shows incorrect ship speed when using more then one rig with speed penalty (armor rigs), speed eft shows is less then actual ingame speed.
looks like EFT substracts 10% speed for each rig, while ingame rigs negative speed effect is stack nerfed.. -8.7% for second rig and so on, with usual stack nerf rates
so if you use for example 3x salvage rigs on ship and some cargohold expanders - eft shows really different numbers then you can see ingame

In case not previously mentioned (and still with us in 2.5.2):
The Missile Launcher Rigs do not calculate DPS changes properly. Instead of the 10% bonii in their descriptions, they appear to add approximately 1% to the calculated DPS when installed.

Seems to work fine for me, a single Warhead Calefaction Catalyst boosts my missile DPS by 10% (from 136.9 to 150.6). You aren't trying to fit one in addition to a bunch of BCSs, are you? Remember that damage mods and damage rigs stack with each other, and the rigs, being weaker, are applied last.

Excellent tool Gripen!
I did find a small bug with the application of the "Information Warfare Link - Electronics Superiority" module and the effects it has on squad member "Remote Sensor Damper" modules. It appears to nerf the effectiveness of the remote sensor damps rather than make it more effective.
e.g. before gang link, -51.54% targetting range or scan resolution after link (L5) it's -46.21%.

I got a few feature suggest: 1. Export of skill plan to EVEMon (sorry if this is a re-request) 2. Show skills required to fit the fitted modules. Not just the skills required to use the modules, but also, skills that lower CPU/PG needs for fitted modules or generally adds to the CPU/PG (If the extra CPU/PG is needed)

I wanted to see what effects skills and implants would have on the speed of my freighter, and to it's shield, armor, and hull. Could you put all the ships into EFT so we could do that? It doesn't have freighters.

Bug: It is possible to load recon probes into scan probe launcher et vice versa - survey and scan probes into recon launcher.
Please move "Show charge info" down to charges section. So context menu will looks like
Show Item Info Open Market Group Change Affecting Skills... ------------------ Show Charge Info T1 Charges ....

I have tried to read all the post before me and I have seen people with the same problem however it seems the new EFT fixed it.
I can not update my characters. All it shows are 0s for all my skills. Been doing it for a couple weeks now. I have downloaded and am using 2.5.2 I simply just gave up and decided not to bother with it anymore. However I am missing EFT now.
Figured I would give it one last try and see if anyone knows how I can fix it. Thanks

very decent app, just a few things that i would like to see in future updates though :P
can the ship browser window not auto close when you have selected on ship... or at least an option for it not to. saves alot of clicking when i want to compare lots of ships etc
also for ship browser... at least an option for me to sort the ship types into alphabetical order... it being in smallest to biggest is ok but abit weird sometimes.

I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I've never gotten the online price update to work. When I hit update it still says double click to set the price. Is there any way to fix this?

That's not much of an argument. Freighters or shuttles may not be able to fit any modules, sure, but they're still affected by implants, skills, projected effects and so on, they've still got effective hitpoints, agility and warp speeds, and the resulting data is still useful for a variety of purposes, even if it's only "how many Basiliks would I require in support of my Charon to withstand the average BS gank gang?". _________________________

ok, I don't know if I'm just understanding wrong or if this is a problem. So here goes.
With my current skills my Typoon has the following stats: Capacitor : 6000 Recharge Rate : 870s 6000/870 = 6.9/second recharge rate.
EFT is showing a recharge rate of 17.2/sec.
If I then do my full fit later on EFT says I'll be able to permarun the setup, but that is not the case.
Am I missing something or is there a problem with the calculation?
ps. This calculation is with no cap rechargers fitted
