Actualy I have felt that type of pain before and its very demoralising. But given what did actualy get to go down, you missed nothing. Better luck next event as they say in these types of situations.

I think BoB's biggest problem is that they've fallen victim to their own myth. They believe they're invincible and as soon as this is shown to be a fallacy they go off the deep-end and explode in a bitter wail of gnashing teeth and impotent threats rather than doing what all good alliances do when faced with extinction and change their plan of attack until they find one that works.
Essentially BoB pilots think they should win because they are BoB, not because of the fact that they have more members or that their members are better than their opponents.
Stop being ignorant of the apparent fact that BoB have fallen from grace and lose your stations with a bit of dignity.

If retreat is what you signed up with BoB for then you're right that BoB has no need to adapt, but if you're not happy with the way the war is going then adaptation is the only thing that will save you. If you're adopting the mindset that CCP is to blame and they need to make the game better than you have already lost focus on the objective of winning with the tools that are available or predicted to be available.
There are plenty of accusations and insults that can be leveled against goonfleet quite legitimately, but failure to adapt is not one of them. Goonfleet is ******* quicksilver, because we've spent 95% of our time in Eve between the hammer and the rock. I'm sure BoB used to be the same, and probably can be again with the right attitude and leadership, but that's up to you guys, not us or CCP.

BoB has been the biggest isolationist of any entity in the history of the game and you have succeeded in baicly turning over half the galaxy onto you with the hope that someone will step up and bring a "fair" fight even though during all this time every action bob has taken seems to be in completely the other direction, favouring instead to try and disappoint and blueball opponents into giving up. Don't even try and debate this as it's a universally recognised mentality prevalent only in BoB.
You chose to ignore an entire facet of EVE, that being the political and propaganda aspect. Now that you have an overwhelming number of fleets arrayed against you you claim that neither are we unable to evolve but the same goes for yourself?
This is absolutely laughable! You never evolved beyond relying almost entirely upon super capitals, Goons on the other hand have almost entirely restructured their command and general strategy, eg. Scrapping the CEOS, Getting rid of FTZ. You are a victim of your leaders own short sightedness, arrogance and inability to think up new strategies to level the playing field.

We both want a fight, its just the dynamics and scales involved go against what the servers whish to offer. It then boils down to a lottery and which side has the most tickets. Last night was a rollover as nobody even won that draw.
Even if both FC's agreed to let everybody load on grid and both say go in local before anybody so much as activates a module wouldn't help, though welcome to try. Molle is an approachable chap, aslong as you dont bump him :).
Maybe we need a super-node for such `events` that CCP can allocate, and given the amount of metrics available to them, it would be a simple task to spot such need. I would like to know how the server gets lagged - is it cpu/memory/IO, I dont know and can only speculate. But this type of issue in huge fleet fights has and will only be a growing issue which prevents the use of alot of stratergies of which the game is designed for. I mean, logistics ships and there use infights, nuff siad. Very rare, which is a shame as many feel.
But lets agree; Our respective FC's musta had a hard job with numbers. That and whoever was handling your gang invites probably needs a new mouse and a never wants to see a charge again :). That and if the lag wasn't there both sides would of had a humongus amount of fun nomater which way the fight went.
That and for all the people who couldn't even get to the event. Poor peeps :(

I find it quite amusing, for ages BoB kept telling people to bring it, now that someone has, some of BoB want them to go home.

After being in goon gangs for nearly a month now, I think the most clever thing bob could do right now is start being more respectfull to the goons and somehow acknowledge they are a skilled pvp alliance.
People say eve-o has no effect on the game but that is not true, the aura of hype and awesomeness that has surrounded entities like BoB and 0utbreak is part of their success.
If you start struggling (lets not argue about winning or losing, but lets agree right now you are not exactly steamrolling the RSF) against people you have described as the lowest noobs in eve then that aura is gonna be shattered. You can come to the forum explaining that you are still awesome and that the lag didnt let you accomplish any strategy but it will not work. It never did. Since as far as I play everytime someone blamed lag on the forums he came across as a big whiner to the whole comunity, and it is unlikely to change now.

Newsflash, You not only tried to make our game unplayable but you tried to grief a bunch of newbies out of the game entirely. You have no leg to stand on when it comes to throwing around accusations of making peoples games unplayable, yet you still do it! Even when it just gets thrown back in your face constantly, Somewhat similar to what happens when you try to siege RSF towers, right?
If you aren't outclassed why do RSF towers outnumber BoB's in 66? surely bob is capable of preventing RSF from destroying their poses, which, by the way has been happening relatively uninterrupted throughout the week.
And yet... no one can win anything... even though RSF is currently gaining ground on you, rofl.

How long has the fighting been going on in 66- now pls.
Oh and can insted of a slagging match about who has complained the most about lag how about a proper battle report cos the goons either have stalled or are taking a lot longer to take 66- than other systems they have attacked.
Pls no spin or predictios just the actual facts on the state of the system.

Stalh, seriously, calm down. Everyone knows Goonswarm is where it is due to allies. You guys have no problem admitting it (well some of you don't). So rather than being arrogant like much of BoB by posting the garbage you just posted, sit back, take a breather while waiting for the grid to load, and keep in mind not everyone has multiple top-tier alliances to save them at every turn. What sort of position do you think Goonswarm would be in if it weren't the Russian's phalanx? It might be better off than FATAL, but you sure as hell wouldn't be where you are now.

Email CRC, ask for an alliance/coalition *****fest sticky or something.
