Ooh, I have one!
When you open jet cans, loot containers, wrecks, profession (Radar, Salvager) cans, add a nice "Loading..." text while the client is waiting to find out if it's empty, and a nice "Empty" when the client has confirmed with the server that it is indeed empty. |

When undocking, I can often issue and execute commands before the scene even loads.
On the stupid animated login screen, I can usually get my password punched in, and have half the game loaded before the stupid 3D animated screen has loaded. At all. |

While I'm sure this has been reported, getting rid of the gate jump lag when jumping into a system where the gate is camped by a large (250+) fleet would be great. |

message would also be a nice addition
might stop people from hammering the button over and over again just to get in the system when in a fleet of more than 20 members (hammering the button might stress the server)
the message should ofcourse be very reliable ! |

Stop the items window from seemingly re-load every single icon that it has to display.
It's almost as if rather than creating the bitmap once and rendering it multiple times, it's going into the resource DB and re-creating it for every single occurrence in the folder. It can take ages to have all of the icons appear for what should be a relatively trivial rendering task.

Client Optimization Ideas:
#1 - Allow users to logoff back to character screen instead of restarting the client #2 - Along the lines of loading notifications, either add some text string stating that the container (whatever it is) is loading, or some kind of spinning or animated "progress" or "loading" image (a la contracts searching)
I'll add more later if I think of more that haven't been mentioned already

#1 - Security Status Gains are not working correctly. If multiple people get kills on an NPC the security status isn't gained like it used to be. A petition confirmed this was worthy of a bug report, please look into this - it affects low sec residents heavily.

Anything that can be customized should by default have an export / import function just like the overview.
Right now things like the market quickbar / new neocom we have to reproduce on each toon for every machine or go figuring out the character ID and start copying / renaming files :(

Also - please let's all try and keep this on topic so the devs monitoring it don't have to read through pages and pages of game feature requests (not to say that those aren't valid and worthwhile - just a different thread)

Sebo effects, for the love of god sebo effects! On lesser computers even 3 or more ships clustered with sebos on can lower fps by quite a bit, and the only solution is to disable all effects, many of which are really useful in a fight, like points, webs, who is repping who etc. There really needs to be a different effect or an ability to turn off just sebo and tracking computer effects. |

Speaking of performance.... please stop killing my hard disk by depositing thousands of mostly empty files on it.
Can we please have corp / alliance / system logs append to each other over the duration of either a day, a week or a month. I find that the file system handles a smaller number of large files far better than my AV trying to open 5,000+ file handles in the kernel each time it passes over the folder. |

I would like a revisit to the Corporation Management window on the toolbar. As a CEO of a 20 man corp I often times experience large amounts of lag while expanding and saving roles to players. I would like to see this streamlined and perhaps the management interface made easier to use and more understandable. Perhaps even template titles to work with or something.
Running:
win 7 ultimate Core 2 Quad 2.5Gh/z 4gb DDR3 Memory GTX 260 Nvidia Video Card
Eve is running on pretuned "quality" mode windowed at 1900x1200. Lag occurs in both situations with one or two clients running.
On a side note I've also noticed that if I have two clients running that the second client will not have the fancy new AP route icons under the system information. It ONLY happens on the second client. This makes it quite frustrating to autopilot through space in a freighter and at time scary. |

I would suggest having a look at the module cycle time trackers. Those little meters that spin around the icon of a module that supposed to let you know how long the cycle will last for. What mostly tends to happen is that they start randomly filled already and will cycle to that point again, but as it is filled up it makes it very hard to keep track of which module is where in its cycle essentially negating its use all together. Even if you start modules at the same time it often so happens that the cycle meters are starting at different points.
As it is this feature is useless as it can't be reliably read. This has been an issue as long as I can remember across plenty of different drivers and settings.
