Dear players,
Due to issues that affect Player Owned Structures we are forced to temporarily prohibit POS warfare. This means that no attacks are allowed on starbase control towers, their attached structures or outposts. This also means that no control towers may be set up where a different alliance holds sovereignty . Players found in breach of this will receive warnings and structures will be removed.
Fixes for the issues will be forthcoming as soon as possible but until then we ask you to bear with us and refrain from any sort of POS warfare.

My god, this is heartbreaking! I know so many people who desire nothing else than to resume their POS warfare operations!

not to dampen anyone about the prohibition of POS warfare, but I hope you GM people realise that by doing this, you're subconsciously inviting people to do POS wars all the more.
Unless you have some sort of strict punishment for those who choose not to obey this current hold on POS wars, people will still attempt to "sneak" a couple through.

Someone put the news ingame then, like now. Next thing we know is that people who honestly didnt know decide to take a chance and siege a POS, not knowing about the current stoppage on it.

If this is official, can we get some sticky for now?
Or an ingame message warning of this ruling?
I'm sure lots saw this coming, but most of them probably are out trying to push it as far as possible.

So, POS-Warfare is forbidden, that hopefully means that all pos shields and weapon systems will be disabled, so target cannot hide behind the shields while we are not allowed to shoot it.

At least now we know it isn't a design feature.
And it is the player base's fault for no one finding this out on sisi. How many ppl own POS?
And tbh how many ppl are going to bother checking their POS on sisi or even refuelling them when there are no changes to them from previous patch
