Bish Ounen Gallente Omni-Core Freedom Fighters Ethereal Dawn	Posted - 2008.02.12 17:47:00 - [9] Well, pretty much ALL the Amarr ships have that "pleasing symmetrical look" thing going for them. (Like I've often said, Amarr are the 'Bling' race.) I'm also fond of the Hyperion, and the Typhoon is kinda cool looking. Oddly enough, I really like the Imicus. I mean, it's as ugly as hell, but the silly thing really grew on me. It was the first Frigate I was able to multi-task with effectively (PVP, PVE and Mine) probably due to it's drone capacity. As long as I was only facing another T1 frig, I could PVP, and PVE was easy with T2 small rails, T2 ammo, T2 light drones, a Cold-Gas AB and some range. (Only easier mission frig is the Ishkur) and Mining with T2 miners was pretty good (for a frig). I just wish that the Imicus hull was the Gallente Cov-ops frig. I mean, it IS the "Astrometrics" frigate, so it's astrometric bonuses seem to lend it to being a cov-ops. But for some reason CCP chose the Maulus hull for BOTH the cov-ops AND the E-War frigate. I just don't get that one.

(but seriously take a close look, lol) My fav is the Hyperion followed by the Baddon, just because the effect of the laser banks firing in sequence makes me all warm inside. I noticed for the first time yesterday how much the Ishkur looks like a bug of some kind, the new textures on the model really make it look like a cool ship to fly.

I think I have a thing for those black ships, the Khanid ones and my Nighthawk. For the more aggressive look, I'd go for the Megathron, to me it just has the words "I'll shred you!" written all over it. There's also some faction/npc ships that I really find quite cool. The trinity version Elite Drone Parasite (Dominix hull + creepy tentacles!) and the the new dark/blueish Armageddon. But yeah, The Heretic does it for me! Enjoy, and fly safe..

Personally, I am a fan of the Caldari Cormorant DD. It's about the only Caldari ship that looks good from about any angle, and its the -only- ship (other than the Crow) I have seen that actually shows the missile bays, realistically numbered on the upper hull. This, to me, is the best looking ship in the game, and I just wish it were more survivable :) The Providence is also a very nice ship. If it had the same sort of design on the underside as it does on the top, it would be my no. 1 pick. The Rokh. It's a battleship that looks like a battleship. One of the few Caldari ships you can look at all day and love.

Now that my main has one getting it fully skilled and pimped out is the only thing that keeps me playing. Sadly playing consists of logging on and switching skills, then logging off for another 5 to 22 days currently depending on the skill. If the Machariel wasn't sitting looking gorgeous in my hanger, i wouldn't even bother logging in to this snoozfest of an excuse for a glorified right click menu over-indulging, repetitive stress disorder inducing, min/max percentage based pokeman trading card in space of a game anymore. Here's hoping station walking gives us something to do besides spinning our ships in hangers for entertainment while we bleed the precious moments of life away waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for skill ups......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Seriously though. The Vindicator and Vigilant are both aesthetic improvements over the standard Megathron and Thorax hulls are are also rather attractive. The Maelstrom is quite majestic. The Cyclone and its T2 counterparts just seem to radiate menace and are definitely some of the coolest looking ships, if perhaps not the most "attractive". oh, and www.eveonlineships.com (linked in the thread's first post) advertises or links to macro programs, as well as RMT sites for ships/modules. Just thought I'd point that out.
