Miners, seriously, I've always wondered what would happen if -every- single miner stopped mining for a whole week. What would happen to PvP? Maybe you should go on strike and find out. I -am- being serious about this. This is not meant to be a trick, joke or whatnot. Can't fight back? Then take away the minerals they need to build their ships! Ofcourse this play could totally backfire... but EvE is a risky game by nature, think of this as PvP :) (As for the whole allah allah bit. I'm christian and it bothers me enough when I see people having character names, corps, etc that blatantly make fun of religion, any religion for that mater. I think the jihadswarm is treading a dangerous fine line because they are starting to turn religion, and an out of game one, into an ingame means of PvP/griefing/whatever.)

As funny as all this Jihad stuff is, they are actually manipulating a massive portion of the Miner population for their own benefit. And quite ingeniously, getting a laugh out of it while they are at it. The more people that move to Minmatar space and mine there, the higher the price their enemies POS will get and the lower that the Goons POS fuel prices will get (Given that 90% of Goon/RA/TCF etc towers use minmatar ice) The only major problem with thier strategy however, is that the average hi-sec miner is lazy and doesn't want to move from their little asteroid belt they have claimed as their own. And would rather whine to CCP about griefing. All in all, nice going, will eventually fail but meh, keep providing the entertainment Jihadswarm :P -----

The empire miners won't do that - they're rather scared of discovering that they're not quite as essential to EvE as they tell themselves... CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that.

I'm C of E, and even i can appreciate that taking the mick out of jihad, Allah, et al, is ill conceived at best. Insensitive and inflammatory aren't words i use often, but i think they apply here. Suicide ganking miners in empire is always good for a laugh. Screaming Jihad over local as you do it and proclaiming your actions to be in the name of Allah at the same time is in extremely poor taste. In times of extremism and radicalisation, you don't throw fuel on the fire unless you yourself are flameproof. And don't say "its just a game dude", lets not forget it was "Just a cartoon in a newspaper".

Zombie corp did a thing in Yulai or some system with a similar name before Concord was buffed. You could ea y got therlier put remote reppers on a ship and survive Concord + gate guns. They killed EVERYTHING that got within scrambler range and CCP figured that was to much, and asked them to stop. They didn't, so they got nailed by TomB's nerfbat and the BanBat. Tank CEO and some of his like minded figured out that people with a 'true' -10 standing didn't get a standing reduction, and that is what triggered Concord. Think they to got hammered into stopping it until the stuff was patched. Now, these things where fixed because they where 'bad' for the system. That people set up their ships like morons and go all roid-gank no tank, and die to cruisers. I mean, For F*KS Sake, if you are going to mine, and are scared of die'n, get a fitting that will work. And this is a MULTIPLAYER GAME. Get in a dmn corp. Get a mining guard in a ship that ACTUALLY works as a guard. I can think of 4 ships that are AWSOME at guarding miners. I can also think of 10 fittings that will make you close to immune to the attackers if you fly an Exhumer. There are weekly complains about suicide attacks on haulers. Why is it so much worse what Goons do?
