It's not roleplaying if it's based on real world stuff (not in this context, that is). If you were pretending to be a terrorist supporting the Minmatar or something, that would be RPing. This, however, is just hate-mongering.
The ones that would be most offended are Muslims (for the suggestion that this is what Islam is about) and anyone that's been affected by real-world terrorism, but plenty of other people can be offended as well.

I can mine for over 6 hours a day, afk in high sec space without being ganked, chewing on fat roids without a problem. If you are getting ganked, it's your own problem, try moving!?

On the other hand, the whole Jihad thing is pretty ****, GS get a life rather than being discriminative little *******? you really need to find yourself a different game if the only way you can get a kick out of eve is pretending to be a suicide bomber. care about people that have had their lives ruined by them? sensitivity ftw!

Wtf are you all getting worked up over it? It's a name, move on. You all are making a big deal over nothing.
And for the OP and other carebears, how about instead of screaming NOT FAIR NOT FAIR, and begging CCP to cater to your non-confrontational, no thinking involved gameplay, you guys take it upon yourself to do something, to get around the current problem, work together, get intel channels up.
But as usual per the carebear personality, you want everything done for you, and if it isnt, you want it easy as it possibly could be.
CCP isnt your mommy and daddy, they arent here to hold your hand and keep you safe, grow up and think and do things for yourselves.

What I am saying is that if they were actually roleplaying based upon things in the Eve universe -- Minmatar terrorists, Amarr slave-owners, what have you -- it would not be offensive.
As for making fun of suicide bombers, perhaps that is their intent, but this seems very poorly done if that is their goal, and can easily be seen as glorifying them, or if, while perhaps making fun of them (in a somewhat inappropriate manner that makes light of it and risks offending those who have been affected by suicide bombers in real life), it also makes no distinction between the suicide bombers that pervert the holy words of the Qur`an and Muslims in general, and does, in my mind, seem derogitory towards Muslims in general.

Rabbi Uria Ohana's crash course on street justice -- and the justice -- system continues.
"I got a call from the district attorney," Ohana said. "I'm going to testify in front of the grand jury."
The case is against 18-year old Ali *******, accused of snatching Ohana's yarmulke last week inside a Park Slope subway station. It was an offense Ohana says he couldn't let pass.

Prosecutors haven't classified the incident as a bias crime yet, but a Brooklyn resident who spoke to CBS 2 HD says he's not encouraged by what happened.

Not for Rabbi Ohana, who says despite the fact ******* was injured, he still wants him prosecuted to fullest extent of the law.
******* is charged with grand larceny, petty larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. Prosecutors expect more charges will be filed.

If the Jihad guys (which in my opinion, even in real life, are lunatics  ), were actually attacking macro miners -as many of them claim to do-, then why do I see the names of actual players in their killmails?
I paid a visit in my BC to one of the systems with high kills to check out what was going on and I saw a Goon Brutix headed straight for me (warped at 100km distance from an ice field). So much for taking out macro miners, eh? And I admit I saw A LOT in that system... most stuck outside a station with their shield boosters running... but where are the killmails of them?
In my humble opinion, there is some serious brain damage at work here.
But then again, this applies to all fanatics... and I have experienced them in real life as well.
Eventually though, this is a game, and anyone can play "God" behind a keyboard... and that usually happens when they have no life... 'cause real life is too much for them.
Then again... this is my own and personal opinion. I do have a career and I have served a significant amount of time in the real world military... and happily, my brain still stands on my shoulders.

Tbh i think what goons are doing is good it makes me sick to see a hulk pilot in high sec mining veldspar while the rest of us are out 'working' for our isk (or in my case taking it ) so GO GOONS stop *****ing about it you lost your ship big freakin wow don't flip out at losing a T1 mining barge... As much as I dislike Goons, everyone should realize that this is not some lame noob shooting exercise, this is an economic war, by keeping miners out of the belts, mineral supply is dropping and prices are increasing, I'm willing to bet they have a huge stockpile just waiting for the market to hit it's crest.

Thats not very fair.
I followed all the help and info on this forum.
I ran a passive tank i alligned to the station, and still this bloody ship warps right on top of me locks me webs and scrams me then blows me to the 4 winds. Then the cheeky bugger asked if i like the "fire works" and types Allah in local. Not funny and not the sort of PAYING game i wish to play i think.
you should really have been watching your scanner for incoming ships tbh.

I think its experiences like these that teach you how to succeed in EVE. Im not promoting what they're doing, but if they didn't, hundreds of newbies would go wandering off into low secs not expecting any trouble, then be attacked by a corp that's simply protecting their space. The newbie then goes off and moans at the corp for just being normal, whereas with the Gooners in place, attacking randoms, it teaches newbies to be cautious and stick to high sec until they feel confident. Even 0.5 has its fair share of pirates, so instead of trying to be "ahead of the game" and mining in mid-low secs, just stay in Kisogo and you wont have any trouble.
