Torp Abaddon Think 7 launchers (plus/minus one, depending on just HOW over/underpowered you want it to be), 25% armor resists bonus and -25% cap recharge time from the base L5 prereq, 5% torp damage bonus and 10% torp flight time from the T2 skill.

It would be nice to see a real armor-tanking BS-class missile boat (the Typhoon doesn't count because it is a Swiss Army knife - and only has 4 missile slots). ------------

They should just make faction ships for the side factions out of the tier3s. Like, Mordus Rokh, Syndicate Hyperion, Thukker Maelstrom and of course Khanid Abaddon.
And that Khanid Abaddon would of course be a torp boat with 7 launchers, torp velocity and damage bonus (Damage rather than RoF to be different from the CNR) and otherwise in line with other empire faction ships. Or for pure sex, add a 3rd bonus like the pirate faction ships, which in this case would be armor resists.

As you say, and all "special" faction ships get the "3rd" bonus Only empire faction ships are cheated of that "3rd" bonus Unless i am sorely mistaken.
Then again khanid is not a special faction, but a under-division of the amarr kingdom, hence: any khanid ship is required to be a tech II amarr ship, and preferably in a class with TWO tech II ships as quite alot of amarr players have very little missile skills, and a option for laser *****s is thereby required. Well, Khanid already have their own T1 faction modules, so I don't see what speaks against them getting T1 faction ships as well. The Black Omen model wants a player-usable adaption badly too, and I am sure there must be some Amarr frig that would look great in pure T1 black as well.

I'd rather see it as a new tier I BS.
Storyline: with increased hostilities, factions have begun increasing the size of their battleship fleets. Khanid and Caldari did a joint venture to create a new cheap BS. Minmitar have begun refitting mammoths, and Gallente have built a new ship.
Khanid & Caldari are similar looking ships, the Khanid being slightly larger and smoother appearance. Khanid (Amarr): 7 missile hardpoints +5% armor resists -5% cap recharge time Caldari: 5 missile hardpoints +5% missile ROF +5% missile kinetic damage Minmitar: Modified mammoth appearance to look more combat worthy, 6 turret hardpoints +10% large projectile optimal +5% large projectile ROF Gallente: 6 turret hardpoints +7.5% hybrid turret tracking -5% MWD capacitor penalty

Face it guys, all the Battleships in EVE are butt-ugly except the Armageddon, the Megathron, and the Maelstrom. Every faction or T2 battleship should be based off of those models. Caldari shouldn't have faction or T2 ships. A Khanid Abaddon or Apoc would just be a let-down.

The maelstrom?! ok well I understand that aerodynamics are pretty much negligible in space (cba with solar winds atm) but the maelstrom, like the brutix, would be unable or traveling in a straight line due to the forces acting on it not acting through its center of gravity, and due to this I just feel it looks massively silly.
P.S. if you don't understand why it would be unable to travel in a straight line, I don't know how to explain it to you, because its too bleeding obvious to me. Also, space is NOT zero gravity, zero gravity can only truly occur in another universe (arguable even there), and again, if you don't understand, please don't ask, go and read a book on simple astrophysics.
Oh and about what looks good... I like the tempest, hyperion, megathron, rokh (kinda), armageddon and abaddon. But tbh I would prefer to see new BS skins, I think stuff like the nightmare and machariel look so damned badass!

CCP won't make a Khanid BS because it would be in violation of Iceland's ****ography laws. actually, if i remember what i read about khanid lore, it's not a subdivision of the amarr empire at all - rather an independent offshoot of the amarr empire that embraced caldari ways and survives diplomatically by producing amarr/caldari hybrid ships (hence amarr hulls with launcher hardpoints)
if i'm correct, it'd make sense lore-wise to have khanid faction ships. whether it'd make sense practically, i donno

Ummm, I completely disagree with this assumption. While not separate in terms of character selection for us, the Khanid are in fact a completely different faction from the Amarr Empire, namely as the Khanid Kingdom. Various writings (here and here) serve to substantiate this statement. They're like the Intaki Syndicate - though they historically originate from one of the four playable Empires, they're wholly independent and self-governing factions.
What is established in game however is that the Khanid have created several Tech II class ships. This meshes nicely with the description of the Royal Khanid Navy: "The RKN is not big, but much more hi-tech than that of their cousins the Amarrians.".
Personally, I would like to see a (Tech II) "Dark Amarrian" Battleship one day. I would theorize that changes to the Amarr Black Ops Battleship could realize this, but I don't propose any specifics.

Do you know the mass distribution of the maelstrom? i certainly dont perhaps its mass is centered in such a way so that its center of gravity is directly inline with the engines, I think its rather silly of you to asume that the ship has a standerdized mass cross section. It my be unlikely that its center of gravity is inline... but its not impossible.

A torpedo slinging Apocalypse [Neither of the other hulls I could really imagine fitting in with the missile style] would brighten my day considerably.
5% torpedo damage, 5% max capacitor, 5% resists, and 10% torpedo velocity per level of respected ship class?

How about a second set of mauraders?
That right there would scream Khanid.
Sadly, I've been forced to use my typhoon as a Khanid Apoc, as it most closely follows Khanid battle tactics. Missiles, Drones, Nos/neut, and heavy armor tank.
And while we are at it, why not a second set of HICs? One set, the tankier of the two, the second set, gankier... I'm just bringing that up, because I want a black omen... but so does everyone else.
