As a member of the CSM you're not just another player, you're a representative for the EVE Online player base. In this case it doesn't really matter who said what, but if a member of the CSM act i inappropriately CCP needs to take actions, or else it will put the whole playerbase in a bad light. I would prefer if new subscribers didn't think we were a bunch of cyber bullies telling depressed people that they should kill themselves. And I'm pretty sure that's not the image CCP are going for either.

Soldier committed suicide when I was a platoon leader.... Although it sent ripples through the company, the real impact tore the platoon apart. There were signs, he was told to harden up... In the end we, I didn't see his cries for help, maybe we didn't want to see it... Until it was too late.
This topic is personal; I understand that the mittani is a kid with potential.... His rise in eve is a reflection of what is possible in life, however, what he did was wrong; what his followers are saying is wrong.... And it needs to be fixed.

They are the issue when pond life like Mittani decides it's funny enough to get everyone in a conference to start harrassing them. The gimp using that as an excuse shouldn't have, and I myself would just tell him to get the hell off the computer if that was his problem and consider it a joke, but publicly inciting this crap when he had no clue whether the guy was for real or not is not acceptable.
