121. Blastos - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
What is a "normal sized ship"? The Talos uses large guns, which gives it a 400m signature resolution. For its tracking to work "as advertised", that means shooting at stuff about the size of an apocalypse. But I get the impression that that's not...

122. Blastos - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Forgive me, because I don't actually fly Gallente ships and I'm genuinely trying to learn something here. I understand that signature resolution and tracking are multiplied together in the turret accuracy formula, and for practical usage are combi...

123. which carrier, blops, marauder? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Competitive? Absolutely not. Better than swapping out two CPRs for PDUs? Yes.

Take a look at an ancillary current router instead. You'll get better capacitor numbers. Still not a good idea, though.

Those power diagnostics don't provide anywhere near enough capacitor. The Archon would gain a 19% capacitor regen for each CPR you swapped out.

126. Blastos - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Would this be a bad time to bring up the fact that while the Talos does use blasters (which give it good tracking) and has a tracking bonus (which gives it better tracking still), this still doesn't make up for the fact that it's using large guns,...

Hrm. Is my fitting tool out of date? I could have sworn you couldn't fit two local repairers and three remote repairers to a Nidhoggur. I lack the skills to fly it, so I'm afraid I can't make that judgment in game.

I can. I'm not sure I agree with it, but Liang's been of that opinion for years now. If you're really so concerned about that Liang, we could restrict the local capacitor savings to only the Oneiros and Scimitar. I don't see it as being much of a...

How would you feel if that bonus were just given to all Logis, and piggybacked on the existing remote bonus? You know, something like this: (Basilisk) Logistics Skill Bonus: 15% reduction in Shield Transport , Booster, and Energy Transfer Ar...

Do you usually find yourself CPU constrained on your Basilisk, Liang? (I know you aren't a fan of Scimitars.) I obviously can't speak for you, but I can't say I've ever had an issue with CPU . Perhaps it's because you locally active tank -- needl...

140. Fittings needed to improve jamming range on a Falcon - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
The maximum you can reasonably expect on a Falcon is about 66.3+53.5km. T2 jamming ships sacrifice the range of their T1 counterparts for a much more significant jam strength bonus. It's generally worth it.
