Just did this mission, its REALLY easy in a battleship, although I will admit it seems to be the hardest agent mission, I'm 100% sure it would be simple my thorax also.
My whole concern is just getting them to die close to me so the stuff is easy to pick up. It sounds like maybe the original poster was going it without hardeners? But I still don't understand how this could have happened so fast, what about your drones? Don't you dump them first thing if warping in at 15km? (obviously you warped in at 15km from your description)
(edit: why would you use rails to do agent mission in a domi? the rats are all too weak to need range, and range just makes things harder for your drones and for picking up the loot)

Kaladryn, the mission has been made easier, the original poster was refering to the original mission which was infact very hard even in a battleship.
You would probably know if you had read to at least page 2 of this thread.

Found the mission realy easy, warped in at 60k and my shields never dropped below 50%

Did this mission in a blasterrax. Wish I'd read Zatuko's post first though because, as usual, I let go with 8 Ogres at the first spawn then lost them all because I had to keep warping out to repair.
My fairly rubbish tactic was to warp in at 15K, kill a couple of ships then retreat and repair. This was safe enough in a Thorax but took the best part of an hour to complete the mission.
Useful to have the warning to fit a WCS or I would have probably lost my ship (again)

Do we see a trend yet? Ships equiped to snipe from long range... or fast enough to stay outside webber of the Inty... do just fine. Those that don't fit the above criteria may have a problem, even with the mission toned down the way it is now.

I've done the Mordus missions over 6 times now, and haven't had any troubles. The ones I get are usually a ton of frigs and ospreys in wave1, then few frigs and 4 cruisers in wave2, then another 4 cruisers in wave3, then sometimes another few cruisers in a 4th wave. (think thats it, might get it confused with other multi-wave missions).
I've done them in both an Apoc and a Crow. The Crow can easily avoid all the hits and kill everything, but takes a while (but looting afterwards is lightning fast). Using the Apoc, the first wave with all the frigs is a pain, but once the cruisers come along, they pop nicely at +40km. 
Even if this has been tuned down, I guess it could still catch people offguard (like when I let a frig get too close to my Apoc and forgot to bring drones).
But seriously, if one can kill them all in a inty without taking much damage, how hard can they be?

ive done the mission lots of times now, the fist couple of times were a bit hairy, especially when u get scrambled.
The last time i had the mission offered to me, in the last wave there spawned a dominion legionaire 450k worth, I cut through it like warm butter....and all it dropped was a medium hull repairer!

Very nice pleasant surprise and a bit of a shocker.
i'm at work and didn't read thru all the pages so not sure if he's been spotted before, was a first i had heard about or seen for me.

Now I fly Typhoon and first Mordus mission i get gives me Raid Leader at the end. Ether it is interesting coincedence or spawn depends on what class of the ship you are in.

One WCS ...target ITTY or Ass. Frig that is charging to WEB ya....Kill him...then start on the rest....
Mission is not super hard...just takes bit of a diffrent style of play...Charging in at close range...will get ya beat up...pretty quick...
