CCP,
If you guys are reading this I think you guys are doing a brilliant job. For such an expensive and complex game I reckon that you manage to keep a very good handle on things. I find it sad that there are so many rude people on this thread who don't understand that things do go wrong but fixing things in the space of a few hours as opposed to days is pretty magnificent when you think of the size of the patches, changes they are trying to prepare EVE for as well as the manpower it takes to get all of this done. I'm quite happy to let CCP have all the time they need to fix things that are going wrong rather than taking snap decisions like letting the new build loose and letting people log in knowing things aren't working exactly as they should be.
Give them a break guys. You pay a small amount of money each month, have the ability to pay with in game currency if you like and aren't aware that games progress, technologies change and unfortunately it may mean that some hardware is no longer able to cope with the new game. You wouldn't scream at the makers of Crysis for not being able to play the game at full screen on an older PC. Why do it here?
Keep up the good work. |

gotta love nerdrage. its the same in each and every mmo. everyone cries about the company that the mmo is from and how crappy the game turned after patches and YET, every single one continues to play.

But as a paying customer I think it would be fair if CCPdid compensate their customers in some way, after all we are in a customer supplier relationship with them and that is the general praxis in most businessrelationships. If the supplier don't deliver to their promise to their customer, then the customer is entiltled to a little something extra.
I believe lots of you would say that some extra SP would go a long way for CCP to regain some of that lost customer satisfaction, because right now my csat report on CCP doesn't look all that positive.

Just a few facts.
The coffee was way hotter than it needed to be.
She was in the hospital 8 days
She needed skin graphs as she 3rd degree burns on 6 percent of her body.
She had 2 years of medical treatment
She just wanted the medical bills covered but the red headed clown told her to eff off.
She died in 2004 so it really doesn't matter anymore.
Facts
You can also google for the info or just wait for someone to beat you with a clue bat.
I don't care how hot the coffee was. It's still her fault she spilled it all over herself. I've watched countless people spill mcdonalds coffee all over themselves for years and they're all fine. 2 YEARS of treatment?! Wow they really milked that one for all it was worth...
Yes maybe the coffee was "dangerously hot," but I doubt that was her first time ordering it, so she most likely knew exactly what she was dealing with and ordered it again anyways.
There is an indication on the coffee cup saying : Hot product. Maybe that should have ringed a bell. |

mcdonalds lady, my 2 isk.
Yes, her fault for spilling. But...have you noticed we make people train special to deal with things that can kill you. For instance you have to be very special truck driver to haul that stuff..cause it can kill people. The coffee....wasn't just hot like you think. I have had some of that spilled on me, when i was younger and before this thing happened....and let me tell you, it does burn. I work in a restaurant part time for fun and I can grab burning plates with my bare hands. This coffee....was like chicken pot pie in the middle. Ya, she milked it, ya it burned, but...mcdonalds needed to bring the atomic temperature of grinding bean down just below nuclear. |

what cups is mcdo using? if you say industrial hot, isn't it hot enough to melt the cup or whatever? and water boils at 100 degrees centigrade, when you say industrial hot, what is its temperature reading? |

you people need to relax this patch is also the base framework for incarna. i would rather a semi long wait now and a similar one for the launch of incarna than get a flawed expansion. let ccp do their job |

Yes I have and EULA is allways overriden by csat reports. CCP is a business = satisfied customers is a good thing as it means more ISK.. eeehh I mean money, come in to their corporation.
EULA's have their place and use, satisified customers is another dimension....

Ridiculous! Did you guys ever think of a recompensation for these continual off times for your paying customers? I pay for 30 days and you deliver 27? WTF?
Being an IT Admin myself, I can tell you delivering a poor performance like this would cost my company thousands of $ every minute and I would be fired after three days latest.
Nowadays offline times in computer systems are seen as primeval and completely unnecessary, even one single minute every day. |

sadly, duplicate servers work most of the time but sometimes do not work, it's just the nature of the beast that is 'puters and interwebs. This applies to more than just game development, but also the corporate IT field as well. |

that would probably really really hurt the player base, most people will get hooked to a new game in that time ;) |
