I'm scared and I'm frightened. I don't even profess to know 100% of what's going on. All I know is that CCP has done some s**t which probably isn't cool, tried to dodge and avoid explaining it, hoped things would blow over but has been called out by OVER 9,000 people in the community.
Despite my toon's age I have been playing Eve on and off since 2004. That's SEVEN YEARS MAN. Jesus, that's a long time.
Even not fully understanding what the hell is going on I am totally FREAKED out about CCP and the vibe I'm getting from you guys. It's like some people I've known all this time are secretly plotting to stab me in the arse when I'm not looking. I'm scared. Please stop scaring me and just do rad s**t again. You know, like you have for the last seven years. (WTF HAS HAPPENED???)

I have read this document.
Whilst I agree that even the suggestion of game-breaking balance available for the richer players is a really stupid idea, the document does in no way have a concrete plans or a developmental road map for the next few years. All I see is an internal fancy document which throw around some ideas, not only for EVE but for other games. I do not, in any way, see "LETS CHARGE AUR FOR MEGA TITANZ AND AoE DD". I do not see why you would spend $60 on a monocal, then moan. I have read the info and it does not introduce game breaking advantage. It is merely vanity.
I also don't understand why you many of you are unhappy about a document, that only provides creativity ideology and opinions. Again, I don't see anything that states "THIS IS OUR ROAD MAP. CHARGE SUB AND MICRO-TRANSATIONS FOR RMT SOV HOLDERS TO MAKE DEATHSTARS WHICH CAN AoE CLOAK AND CYNO WITH UNLIMITED JUMP RANGE FOR $500."
I do not understand why you are protesting. The way i see it, most of you are reading only what has been highlighted in EN24 and not the whole doc. Then jump on a bandwagon.
Really? I know, why don't you give me your stuff and unsub. Becos as long as you are subb'd you have already lost the protest.

Forgive us that we actually have a vocal opinion about the direction of the game we've played for eight years. I know you knights might be stoic enough to simply bend over and allow services to be applied, but most of us would rather keep the game we enjoy rather than see it go without a fight.

There are going to have to be massive actions taken aimed at helping their core game.

Lol I just got round to reading this joke of a post. I dont even know where to start? EvE used to be a amazing game. Still is in some respects. The community is amazing and diverse and full of trolls and I love them all as much as the next guy! But the game itself is now sub par. CQ is a poor poor "expansion". The NEX store should be burnt to the ground and rolled back and sent to a dark cellar where no one will remember it. Im sure many people in this thread will quite happily hand you lighter in which to start the fire with. Among many many other things I cba to reiterate if your incapable of reading the nearly 200 page "CCP being spanked by the customer" thread that is going on here. But basically apology not accepted. Go home we want someone with answers not a "I cant answer your questions" post.

The "whining" as some call it, is necessary. Without it, CCP looks at us and says "Oh, well they don't seem to upset about the MT ideas. Lets keep pushing it a little farther."
This **** needs to stop before it even begins. I don't want another SWG on my hands. I want EVE to stay. I love EVE, I don't want to leave it.

As a 5 year player of this game and an avid die hard, I am disgusted with the actions of ccp over the last week.
First of all Microtransactions go against EVERYTHING EVE stands for, taking away the sandbox aspects of this game will kill it as assuredly as yoko killed the beatles.
Second, I do not believe for a second that you actually put people like PL, Darkside, Hydra and Outbreak into the 50% chance of gaining entrance into the tournament like you did with so many others.
Your inaction over the blatant disregard for the spirit of the alliance tournament is appalling. I have already cancelled my three accounts and I urge everyone to do the same until CCP does a better job of damage control and begins acting for the player

I want CCP to respond, and seeing the mass protests is awesome. Crashing nodes and damaging hardware however isn't cool and only widens the gap.

I know it's harsh, but I figured out a Princess Diana analogy in regards to CCP. She also liked walking through minefields and donating to charity, before getting involved with someone she shouldn't have. She died, precedent set.
