Heheh....that's a good thought Niaski. But, they'd get you with the scheduled DT.

I'm kicking myself... my ship was stuck in a bunch of lag and in the past if I exited and logged right back in it un-stuck me. So I exited. And couldn't log back in. I should have just stuck it out. :P

Hey CCP!...How about changing that "Back Up!" MOTD to...."Well, some of you can play the game!"

Originally by: BlackKnight I'm on again, but:
1) Game locks up periodically 2) I am getting disconnects 3) Now I cannot get back on (Cluster Full)
Same here, I'll just add that the random disconnections have been plaguing me for the last month... I thought that it could have been my ISP, but I have been trying other connections and the problem is always there.
More, I have been 2-boxing the last 3 nights to move some stuff: one client stays connected, the other drops every 2-3 mins, I reconnect the one which dropped and the other one disconnects, ad nauseam, so I guess that it is not my ISP...
More, I experience these connectivity problems just with EVE, my internet connection has no problems doing any other kind of stuff.
Any suggestions? Any solutions?
(I have already cleaned cache/house/dog, reinstalled, made voodoo rites, etc.)

Originally by: monkeyman33 CCP constantly tells us that our losses and annoyances are the cause of our isp or general internet problems....this time is no different.
Customer means managing and delivering to customer expectations.
Constantly blaming other institutions and groups wears thin and may create liability....hopefully either CCP will figure this out, or competition will arrive that will provide a suitable option w/o the bs
Well, it sure appears that you've not been keeping up with the Dev logs! CCP does an excellent job to telling it like it is. When they have problems with load balancing, they told us. When it was hardware issues, they told us. You should pay attention to what's going on before you jump into the fray with your lack of knowledge. BTW: There is NO competition to Eve. But hey, if you want to whine about service then go play SWG. Otherwise, just be patient and enjoy Eve when it comes back online.

Well it dumped me and then I got the cluster full msg. Don't think never logging out will help us much here.

well obvioulsy there was some node overload and the system did what it does to ensure stablity and throttled down the number of players in the game - those 7000 in the game can keep playing lucky buggers. Otherwise dunno go do some RL stuff or wait and post on the ideas forum

Hiya Cruxx,
I have two accounts and I am having the same trouble as you. It is not your ISP. It's a CCP Issue. Lag, hang ups in the game, random disconnects, inability to get on the server.....
I have no other problems with any other internet based work whatsoever.

It's not everyones cup of tea, this game. It takes big-time devotion if you want to accomplish anything... |

With a good Quality Control Department (and I hope CCP has a good one) and questionable QoS, I'd be hard pressed to release anything if I were in their shoes with these types of problems.
