Just do what i do to any machine that doesnt work take a hammer to it trust me the machines will fix themself before you get close with the hammers

someone did post a comment about internet traffic at 100% packet loss, however since thats been like it for the last 24 hours and eve has just gone down, i think we can rule that one out, i think i'm gonna start counting the min's that i can't play (DT Excluded) and e-mail support at the end of each month!!!

Uhm, someone please ease my mind. I am still kind of a noob. My question is as follows.
I was loaded down with some of teh most valuable cargo I have ever carried, including 3 packages from courior runs and several Tech II mods. I was in Jita - safe enough - warping from the stargate to the station to dock when I got kicked and everything crashed. When I log back in will my ship still be where it was and still filled with the valuable cargo?

ishiii, you have obviously not experienced the "real world". Once you have moved out on your own, you will quickly find that you don't always get what you want and the world isn't perfect.
and the one thing you will definately learn is "CHIT HAPPENS !!" get over it. relax and go read a book or take the dog for a walk.

I don't want to be negative, but it does occur to me that I'm told frequently that there's an internet problem that is shutting down the game, when I can get to any other site I want to try whenever Eve-Online goes down.

If there's ever been more reason to have a skill qeue, then these constant outages are it.
It's ok when the servers do down for a 15+ million character, because he is most likely working on skills that are 7+ days to learn. All us newbies on the other hand are only working on skills that require a couple hours at most.
So who gets screwed in the end? The new players.

I'm gonna hazard a guess here, and suggest that is was the massive over crowding in Reblier in the Verge Vendor systems. Euphoria Released, Contraband and 3rd Front are at war, and the declaration passed just before the server's went bump.

We are attempting to determine the cause of today's network issues. At this time, reports of a major network outtage with long distance re-routes appear to be the cause. I have not received any notification e-mails that would signal a server issue.
For those that are asking for compensation for lost time, CCP is not responsible for connectivity issues between the client and the server. If there is a connectivity issue with your ISP or someone in the route to CCP other than our immediate ISP, that is an issue to take up with your ISP.
