Maybe a good idea to do something about the engine exhaust that we currently have in eve.
It would be cool if you can change it just like the engine exhaust in the log in screen with the incarna client

A small sound when flying through planetary rings ...
Something that sounds like small stones on the surface of metal.
Well ... just imagine a ship moving through the rings, but with sound in space all the little rock-thingies would do on the hull, which makes sense of course. %)
Yes, i was doing that ... yes, i hoped for a sound ... no, there wasn't one. |

Argh, forum ate my reply. :( Not sure if these are too big or good enough.
- Show container contents
When hovering container icons (e.g. ships or station containers), show a small overlay progress bar on their icon showing the used/free space (similar to usual item windows).
- Show corp recruitment ads on CQ video screen
(Unless I simply missed and/or forgot it and it's there already) add a clickable splash screen to open the corp ads, similar to how you're able to open the agent finder. The video itself could showcase one of the more popular corps (i.e. most applications in a given timeframe).
- Add a new button to probe controls: Return and reload
Well, guess that's pretty much self-explanatory.
- New contract type: production contract
This could be seen as a hybrid between courier and item exchange. You offer x items with a collateral and a reward. To fulfill the contract you require something else back (should be whatever you build off the items transfered first).

Okay .... my wishlist:
* EvE Authenticator (not a small thing though) * Launch multiple Prod/Invent jobs at once * Dropdowns (i.e. Scence and industry ... 'Range') remembering the last settings (the science and indistry window needs some love :) ) * Switch character without restarting the client * If starting a skill on an account where another char is skilling add an option to stop the other char's skill queue remotely. * Contracts in the eveGate * Market access in eveGate (probably readonly for the market where your char is currently located) * Current Market/Price data via API ... sadly this will probably impossible due to high data load. * Sell multiple items at once * Drag and drop BPO/BPC to the maket window same as fittings now on sisi * Add Graphic settings profiles to the launchers, so I do not have to set all the graphic settings manually when running multiple clients from one installation. * I would like some sort of a Item browser with search and drag/Drop functionality. Typing item names to chats, then marking and right clicking/link as item ... OR searching in the market window and not being able to drop/Drag the item as link to a chat is kind of &%$$ :D
Thats all for now :) |

I support that suggestion!
Also you could add a function to toggle the range of installed jobs (Station, Solar System, Constellation, Region).

Thx. :)
I'd rather see a camera fixed to the ship in some place (preferably different places for different ships), so you get the "almost first person" view, but you still can see parts of the ship if you look around. This wouldn't have any practical applications other than Looking Cool. :)
Oh, I remembered something else.
New visual effect (and sound, yes I know, "eve has sound?") for sensor boosters, warfare links and eccm's. Or at least turn the volume of the sound down, it's extremely annoying. |

I would like the ability to set up overviews and import/export them. This way corps/alliances can give out overview settings you import to your client and you go. Not the 20 - 25 minute set up guides that some corps have.
Huh? You can already do this. Right click your overview tab and look for import/export. CSM 6 Alternate Delegate @two_step_eve on Twitter My Blog What does CSM 6 do? |

This idea sounds good to me too. :)
That'll cost them a few more hours though, because they need to find a spot for that for every single ship. |

sounds small but wtf is with the warping at the speed of light with a rocket engine always been about?
i can understand the sub-light speeds, burning around on grid with ur rocket styled engines or something of that nature but plz god, dont make me try and buy the increased fire out the back is an increase in speed by over 1 million times!
im not talking bout a massive flash from some god awefull nacelles or stuff ripped from other sci-fi stuff, but at least de-couple the warp drive from the AB and MWD u use in pvp. Im sure theres art guys who'd love to add a bit more dynamic lights and lighting patterns to the ships ;)

How about, if you're cloaked, you don't show up on the local list as the system computers aren't able to track you.. Then, if you de-cloak, you reappear on the local list. |

Oh hai!
1) Fittings screen has a 'sub menu'; please allow right-clicking on fittings button to go directly to saved fittings. This could be extended to include a right-click option on the Assets button, giving the option to go directly to "region" or "system", etc. In fact, a right-click option on most of the buttons, Character Sheet for example, could be handy.
2) I'd like to see the station scaling addressed. Ain't no way the Jita station is big enough to house that many ships. I'd previously posted on the old forums, suggesting a dynamic scaling system that would alter itself automagically (once every downtime? etc) depending on volume of traffic. Further, i love the idea of a station's look & feel changing depending on what is commonly stored in the station... ie, lots of ore = huge container-like sections that give the impression of doing what people are using the station for.
3) Drones=herding cats. As previously mentioned, the drones seem to lose interest and do their own thing occasionally. Often, in Incursions, i've realised my drones are sitting idle for no reason, even though the target they were attacking is not yet dead.
And stuff i'd wet myself if CCP introduced;
4) Comet & sun mining. Both cometary tail and the comet itself would be nice - two different types on the one thing. Sun mining should involve the need for active defence systems or logistic support due to ridonkulous levels of danger associated with it.
5) Use the Incursion system to further the depth of Faction Warfare... need i say more?
6) NPC ships at HiSec gates orbiting like lost puppies. I believe that simply having the larger ships in formation, stationary, would look far more effective and official. Perhaps the frig-sized ones could still zip about the gate, or very obviously inspect ships autopiloting toward the gate for added realism, but seeing two Typhoon-class ships lazily orbit a gate looks discordant with their reasons for being there.
7) Camera drone can be used to instil a sense of scale. By altering the speed at which you can orbit your own ship with it (ie, rotating the camera), the larger ships can feel larger, the small smaller, etc.
8) Corp/Alliance-made recruitment videos showing in the CQ. May the best marketing department win!
9) 0.9-0.7 space should have NPCs mining in asteroid belts. Why are pod pilots the only one to do so? If they get attacked by rats, localised distress beacons (short range) could alert players to a potential small profit, sec status increase and faction standings if they rush in to help... etc.
And many more. But my coffee has run out, so until CCP gets me more coffee, no more feedback! |

Something that won't probably happen, but It would be awesome if it did: True space option. In my idea it would be black as it is in real life with only few stars shining through. And no sounds from outside of the ship, only sound you would hear is the ones from inside of the ship, like deep-bassy "booms" when you're being hit, or change of engine tone when you're overloading modules. Stuff that would make you feel alone and alienated in the dark and cold space o/ |

an easier way to tell if you are warp scrammed, jammed, damped or in a bubble etc(debuffed in general mmo terms) etc.
so an area of the UI that shows the module icon of the debuff applied to you and the number of times the same effect is applied indicated by a number on the icon.
Say for instance you jump in to a fleet and someone gets a point on you, the warp disruption module icon will pop up on your UI and as more of his/her friends gets points on you the number on the icon would increase.

Directional scanner needs a slight UI overhaul.
Two things:
The distance box needs to be a slider, in 1AU increments. 1AU-15AU.
The angle slider should create a visible in-space ring so you can see where you're aiming. It's not that I don't already know (click on your own ship, zoom out, and use that to center yourself), but really, it's an unnecessary obstacle to learning how to use your directional scanner. |

NOT asking for first-person-style-movement, because i know this is not possible, BUT a cockpit camera (without cockpit, too much work anyway) surely is.

Better control over the jukebox. Having some sort of progress bar like you have in most music applications. Te ability to add your own music perhaps + eve radio. That'd be sweet. Also, consider buffing all the tier 1 battlecruisers. Ferox +1 mid slot Brutix +1 mid slot Cyclone +1 low Prophesy +1 mid Do this and I'd definitely fly a ferox. I'd consider the other three because they don't look as cool, but atleast they'd be almost on par with their tier 2 cousins. I'm not going into powergrid, CPU, shields and all that. But this would be a start. |

dScan is really easy to learn, these increments are way too big and you can't zoom out that far anyway.
This doesn't suggest making dscanning easier, but dumber. |

It needs to show who exactly put those effects in you as well, so the simple debuff area wouldn't work well for Eve. For that the current implementation is okay, it's just the icons should be more visible. Maybe put them on the left/right (toggle in options) as they are, but *outside* the overview box? |
