My joy of fixing my problem was overwhelming, but it wasn't fixed. I still crash every 10 - 15 minutes. I've done everything that was suggested with no luck. My connection appears fine as my other computer never crashes.
I am running in Window mode with a dual monitor setup. Anyone having problems running like this?

Riddle me this...
I've been running for months with no issues at all on this then last night I suddenly start crashing.... Nothing hardware wise changed and I am not aware of any updates being ran on my machine... this is very odd. I tried all the proposed fixes... still crashing.
I know the hardware aceleration one will work but I watch movies and stuff on another monitor while playing... not sacrificing for eve atm...
I now run without sound.
FIX THIS!!!!

Okay, I'm a new player, and I'm now out of ISK due to this issue, so NOW is definitely the time to ask for a solution. It seems now that whenever I enter combat with an enemy ship during a mission, my PC restarts itself completely and I log back in with only a capsule remaining. Its happened between 10 and 20 times now and I cant even borrow ISK from friends since I'm still on a trial account. I've gone through 6 ships and as I'm sure you know, that can be annoying as all hell for a new player. I just want to be able to make money outside of mining again, any suggestions?

You're not alone my friend. I too have had this exact same problem starting at the exact same time. I have noticed that during peak playing hours (in eve-time) the game disconnects every minute or so for me. This usually happens with more than 23,000 players on the server. However, much much later, when there are less than 23,000 players, there is no problems at all for me. I've done everything you have, to no avail. I like to think CCP is too busy trying to fix the problem to answer all our petitions 
My advice is to try playing it off peak hours eve-time and see if that makes a difference. If it works for you like it does for me, then its definitely something that was introduced in Monday's downtime.

Has anyone figured out why this happens? I have the same problem, except the crashes have extended to entering ANY place where combat is occuring. This bug is getting very, very annoying and rendering EVE unplayable for me.

I have never had any problem with any of my machines running Eve. Now after the patch, 2 of my 3 won't even load it. I get the splash screen then just a black box, nothing else happens. WTF is going on with this patch? I have even tried reinstalling the client from a fresh copy, still doesn't work.

Ok, I can run one instance of the client on my machine, but running two, which I was able to do prior to this latest patch, crashes both clients. Any thoughts?

I've got the same problem... always crash after 15-20 min, but only when im not docked. The game runed well before the last update, and now, the game becomes unplayable with lot of crashes.
However i tried in another computer and there was no crash.
So i thought i got problem with my first computer, the computer reboot each time when EVE crashes, error windows is BAD_POOL_HEADER. I've tested all my hardware and nothing seems going wrong. Memory (3*512 DDR) with memtest86 seems good, i change the drivers of my G-force 6600Gt with 2 oldest version (i had the last one) and EVE always crash, all the other parts are desactivated. All other game runs well, and they need greater configuration... So i think my mother card and my processor pentium IV 2.8 are good too.
I have also tried to reinstall EVE, but still the same thing. I saw on this topic that there is some EVE files on a stealth folder in local settings, i will tried to reinstall the game after the deleting of this folder, but i'm afraid that doesn't work...
So i don't know what to do, maybe format the harddrive and try again... But here again i cannot predict the result...
Eve runed so well before the patch.

Well, mine is a bit different from everyoine I have heard, patch must be bugged to fire's end.. anyway I have tried several things.. reinstalling, different patches and builds from different versions , I have uninstalled, deleted, dowmloaded and cussed and fussed for days and days it seems.... I had a problem patching due to CRC or tut2 or a stuff file.. or some coputation, Best scenerio is current one.. I open the game, the header pic comes up.. you know, **Picture of ship*** ("ReveraltionsII") at the bottom, then is fades when the log in servers comes in right? not my client, it minimizes with no way to command it to open, only close.. when i cntrol/alt/delete and bring up task manager in Win. XP sp2 home edition.. fully updated also.. but i can see in task manager that program is running, yet it isnt responding.. login screen never pops up after the intro picture of the ship.. what to do? tried just possibly almost all options other than whatever 1 is wrong or something out of the ordanary, like formatting, or buying a new computer.. this machine has been pro ever since I have had it.. so whats the problem? I got extra ram, and a ATI raedon x9200 video card fully upgraded, dsl is good, have ran tuners , cleaners, virus control you name it everything almost other than something I could missing with a client issue.. any advice? what? want me to take it off pc and re-install or re download a client? Cause thats the only advice given to me from CCCP.. halp halp, I dont have a skill training! Could someone go online and ask DaStonedOne to contact me here or with a email? he is on ofton unless he has after patch problems.. My character in game is : Dirty Deja - Ministry of War Corporation.. DaStonedOne is the name, tell him to hit me up will ya? It isnt illegal to let a friend log you and start a skill is it? I'm having trouble with the repeated 'connection losts' too. The problems started before the reveltions 2.2 patch.
Reinstalling my client + cleaning cache /seems/ to help, but once i run two clients at once, it starts failing again.
i run windows vista (business) though.. and will downgrade to XP to test if that fixes it. Traceroute following below.

I'm from the netherlands, 2 hops from AMS-IX over the Surfnet network.
Ping Plotter's granularity is too big for this - It doesnt show the disconnects.
I ran logserver and what i read in there made me think it was more of a crash of the network layer then a disconnect - but ah well - guess the official response will come later...

I've got one, since the patch on Wednesday last week, when I approach and undock from RENS VI Moon 8 station the game crashes back to the desktop. This doesn't happen at any other station. Anyone have any thoughts?

I aslo got that at Rens (Brutor Tribe Treasury). And always at the end of the warp. Yesterday I experienced the same sh*t when I was warping to missions. I noticed that it was at the end of the warp to begin a mission. It's very annoying. And thats a understatement.

Hiya,
I think I Love EVE. I'm on day 3 of my trial account - But EVE is everything I ever wanted from an MMO - I'm 2 years bored of WoW.
However my client crashes a lot inside space stations. It's really bad. I'm ok outside doing the missions and mining and all that cool stuff - But Entering/Leaving is 50/50 wether it'll crash or not - and opening windows while inside the space stations often crashes the thing too. Those are the two things that kill me - Opening/Closing the interface's windows in space stationa - and Entering/Leaving space stations.
Basically I'll do a mission - and then have the client crash on me three times while I sell stuff, get the next mission, respec my ship, etc.
Is this a known issue? Is there a work around? My system is stable with everything else (Everything except Oblivion - that used to crash ever 15 mins).

My problem is " when i start eve and the startup screen comes up " before login" it just shut down and nothing happens :S this happened when i reinstalled win xp, All drivers are installed and i dident have that problem before i reinstalled xp

I'm having problems too. Love the game. I'm on day 11 of my trial account and want to join full time. Today I was playing and things got REAL slow. Everything else on my computer was working fine CPU, internet, etc. Thinking it was Lag, I logged off got something to eat and came back to try again. I can get to the character selection screen but when I select my guy it always hangs at "Entering the Game as..." Very frustrating to say the least. Anyone ever seen this?

Hi everyone,
Look a couple of posts above ^^ That's me too!!
OK. Now I'm running an old 895Pe MB with an HT P4 at 3.0GHz and an ATI 9800 Graphics card and 1 Gig of PC3200. Pretty basic rig.
The Game kept crashing as above. So I tried what a lot of people said and reduced Direct X Audio Acceleration - But that didn't really do anything, (Audio is on board C-Media from the MotherBoard). BUT - I dropped the screen resolution down to 1024x768. And it has only bombed out on me twice in about 9 hours of play!! Yay!
I've now got my Destroyer and I've just made 46'000 rounds of Nuclear Ammo so I'm going to have to get a full subscription because those babies are going to be used :P.
KK - OK - Just drop your graphics settings if you're crashing. Drop em as low as you can go!!!

I never had any problems running eve even 2 accounts at same time were playable and stable.
now i reinstalled and tried all stuff beeing suggested still nothing
then i simply tried again and again and voila i managed once to login was like 30 minutes in game then crashed and same problem again eve crashes
any ideas? besides stop playing eve?

Eve has for some weeks this mindkilling habit to disconnect after a certain playing time. I am usually playing between 18:00 eve time an at around 20.30 it disconnects and i can reconnect without any problems (autoreconnect does not work). Playing CSS, keeping TS and dsl tracker running, everythin fine here, no crashes, so i dont believe it is my provider.
Will have to check this during other play times btw, will be interesting.
Tried alot of things: Changed router disconnection time, emptied cache, delete all chat log files, shut of my beloved EAX sound, upgraded all drivers, reinstalled eve, etc. etc., etc.
Eve had runned fine for years on my machine, so i am clueless atm. Anyone else having this problem?
I didnt run logserver or stuff like that, cause i am a lazy frog 
I could be worse, but it gets a lil annoying after some weeks.
And NO! Nobody can have my stuff, it stays right there where it belongs
