The UK flight gets in to Iceland this evening at midnight (Wednesday). I will convince any nerdy looking gamer types to join me in a charge to the Glaumbar. Or if not socialize then at least have the ability to potentially travel exotic Reykjavik in some semblance of a group departing from a central location. Is anyone else staying there or did everyone opt for the Nordica?

After the Fanfest closes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday you will be able to go there and get a discount for beer if you show them your Fanfest Access Pass. However, we also invited everyone arriving early to come over to Glaumbar on Wednesday evening as a place to gather, but you won't be able to get any discount on beer until Thursday since you won't get your Fanfest Access Pass until Thursday. I would have figured if you got the icelandair pacakage you wouldn't miss anything cause nothing started on thursday that early. Maybe something to look out for next year.

Great fun :-) I love the missions thing! I'm working on my Level 2s tomorrow, and will hopefully get my 3s done too. The beer/pizza deals are a fantastic idea, and Eris's talk was cool (and very funny). The only downside is the weather (3 degrees C warmest so far - driving rain and snow) but it's an indoor event - so who cares! Anyone not here? You're missing out. Big time. (PS. Try the half-rotted shark. It's nice. Just make sure you have a whole pack of gum with you if you expect anyone to stand within 10ft of you afterwards!) (PPS. Watch out for Whisper's nerf-hammer)
