My CNR was cap stable before today's patch and is no longer cap stable after the patch as well. Stealth-nerf? Anyone else experience this?

Btw I can't seem to get it working properly: I miss the very icons and a lot of buttons just don't visualize (for example the "create new pilot" button doesn't visualize at all, like those that besides it; no modules icon are visualizing etc.)
Is it a known problem ?

In the preferences there is an option for using "high color items". If its checked,try to uncheck it. When i used it in previous versions, i also missed some buttons. Maybe that will help you.

Ive been having problems with my characters not being displayed after putting my API key in and user ID. When the select character window appears there nothing in it.
Ive posted on the general and Tech Lab boards but no luck so far

Could you maybe add an other graph to have two ships actually fight each other instead of just one shooting a second one? In a way that you can see "if ship 1 uses all firepower in its fitting, it wins after 20 seconds. If you change that module, it's 19. First of all. Thanks for the most useful third party app for Eve. Well maybe Evemon and EFT on the same shelf :)
Anyways a little bug: Eos dronebay is wrong. EFT says 75 m3 where TQ says 150 m3. And the command ships bonus to drone bay is not applied.

im haveing a problem with EFT. Im trying to fit ships using my character but it seems my character is all lvl 5 even thou im importing though API method. I create a new character, click import, enter API info, and than when I try to use that character in the fitting window, it grants the same bonuses to the fitting window as a all lvl 5 character, even thou under the character viewer window, he doesnt have all skills lvl 5, im lost. I want ot use this program, but its pretty much useless ot me if its not going to allow me to fit ships with my CURENT skills and not all lvl 5. |

great tool which helps a lot, but something is wrong with the CPU calcualtions.
For e.g. (EFT v 2.9.1) 'Arbalest' Cruise Missile Launcher (68 CPU), with All Level 5 Char (51 CPU), i have (51 CPU); But when i fit it to my Raven InGame i have (38,25 CPU) with no implants and all necessary Skills to L5.
What is here wrong, i get every time a wrong CPU Value?

The resist values for two of the faction Explosive Resistance Amplifiers appears to be incorrect, based on checking each item in-game.
The Caldari Navy and Dread Guristas explosion dampening amplifiers both give a 39.4% bonus to resists in-game. In EFT 2.9.1, they are listed as 37.5%. The values are correct for the Domination and Republic Fleet version, at a 37.5% bonus for each.
The values for faction kinetic, heat, and EM resists are all correct for each faction, but for whatever reason, the explosive resists are appear to have been overlooked.
Figured I would mention this here and hope for an update on it in the near future.
Thanks for a great program though, couldn't EVE without it. :-)

Any idea why, when I try use the currant version of EFT it keeps saying file violation or file missing. I have downloaded EFT at least a dozen times now and the same issue occurs. Each time I remove the programe and all file from my PC. I am running xp professional 64x with 500gHD and 4 g of ram.
Any info would be appreciated

My EFT lists the base cpu as 51tf and gives the 38.3tf when fitted. Post a screengrab of your problem? --

Speed of Reaper is 484 with Minmatar Frigates 5/Navigation 5. But EFT says: 430 m/s
So my MWD fitted "Snowcrash" Reaper of Doom varies vastly from what EFT says.Something like "a bit over 2000" to "a bit over 3000". -- FREEDOM, PUNK & AUTOCANNONS

Umm, I think I found an interesting bug, or I am missing something entirely. I have 2 setups for the same ship using the same character and identical modules. All the numbers are the same except the ones relating to defense. Here is a screenshot.

There is something wrong with 2.9.1
All my fittings from 2.8.1, and the fittings I currently fly which I used 2.8.1 to build, are all telling me I'm short on CPU by anything from 1 to 1.5. I'm also getting entirely different DPS readings from what 2.8 told me, some as much as 30 DPS.

problem with DPS-graph:
I fittet a Apoc and a Geddon, Apoc with resi-activ-tank, Geddon with 0815-remote-plate-buffer (not self rep).
So EFT says 691 DPS just for guns from the Geddon.
If I now let the Geddon attack the Apoc at the DPS-graph this graph tells me, the Geddon does 691 DPS against the Apoc.
According to 77,4% EM and 75,1% THERM resitences on the Apoc ... this 691 DPS are very unclear to me (and maybe some more)!
Amarr Navy Multi L: 32,2 EM dam 23 THERM dam
Even if they are split 50/50 for damage types and I just use 75% everage resitences this would mean (as far as I understand) a damage reduction of 3/4 resulting in 172,75 leftover DPS from the Geddon (691/4) against this 75% everage resitences.
Might I get a clarification about this please?

I'm running into trouble with the cap calculations, wherein EFT is telling me that I'm unstable, when the reality of it is that I hold up fine. I've just imported my skills, and the fitting is precisely the same, yet EFT thinks I'll make it 9 minutes, when my Dominix is perma-tanking at around 30% cap.

Edit: When this happens, if I close the window with the wrong data (the left one in the screen shot) everything seems to work fine. however if I close the window with the correct data (the right one) I can't get any loadout for that ship to give the right numbers. Even after closing and restarting the app. That is where I stand now, I can't get right numbers for Raven loadouts .
Weird. You're sure you have the same damage profile loaded on both setups? (R-click the defense numbers) If so, do showinfo on the booster to see what the shieldboost amount on each setup is.

need some help here. firstly, ive tried to check the FAQ with the eft download. but i couldnt find any such file. secondly, yes, theres probably someone who already wondered about the same thing i do and got answered, but seriously, im not gonna spend an hour or two reading a book and maybe find the answer.
anyways, could anyone please tell me how i can import my characterinfo to eft using the API and/or ID key? I've no idea where none of these are

Get your API key from here.
View > Char editor > Import
Create a new char, paste in your API ID and key and hit connect
