It doesn't matter if he write flyers, do phonecalls, uses a fanfest or forum for his call. At minimum it's "call for harassment" (don't know if illegal in the US, in my country it is) and if it goes bad for The Mittani it's "calling for murder" (which would mean up to 8 years real prison where I live).

I do not think after eight years of playing anyone can accuse me of not knowing what EVE is about and blahdeblahdeblah. I also have nothing whatsoever against people playing it hard in the game. Hell, I am not above confessing that some of my best memories of EVE are about pirates crying about how unfair it is that we choose to shoot them just because they shoot other people, which is a totally VALID playstyle and who are WE to ruin it for them by unfairly making them explode. 
That said, as I have stated elsewhere, I find The Mittani's behavior in this incident completely unacceptable. This is not a case of one player playing it hard with another, this is a case of a chairman of a representative body of the community abusing that position to harass an individual member of said community.
I am afraid if The Mittani is allowed to continue in the CSM, I will no longer consider it morally acceptable to give CCP my money.
And yea, I am sure the Goonies don't need me to enjoy the game, as the gentleman couple of posts back points out. Do I care? No. If CCP rather makes this game for people who think that the behavior of The Mittani was just fine and acceptable, by all means. Let them; their call. |
