well since i cant do anything in station anymore, as soon as i finish my corp obligations, im going to let the remaning 9 accounts i have active lapse, and im going to be playing diablo 3 full time now. this change to the new invintory system messed up so much stuff i dont even wanna dock in station anymore, and 70% of my game time is spent in station working the market and invintory from the corp hanger (which is worthless now cuz i cant fkkking find it anymore, cant have 2 windows open efficiently anymore.
So thanks for 6 years of game time ccp, and i doubt ill be returning to the game anytime soon.

I find it very hard to see that the train of development with the inventory.
Have you fallen into the pigs and chickens nonsense whereby having meetings and mini milestones is more important than what you are developing? Or perhaps why you are developing. Is this an 'enhancement' to tick a box because unless that box said 'stretch the wire thin patience of the most loyal gamers in the world beyond the point anyone sane would dare', this should not be ticked...
At some point, someone has demo'd this and you guys tried it and somehow decided not only did it work in concept but that it was an improvement. I find this astonishing. 5 mins testing this by anyone ICEB qualified and there should have been a list of AT's as long as, well, this forum so either it was not tested, your testers aren't very good (not accusing them of this as it is a horrible job) or the culture is no conducive to people speaking up and saying 'but this clearly sucks. Why are we doing this again?'
In terms of key strokes and usability it is a shocking piece of work.
So please, ffs, try and learn something from this. Stop changing things for the sake and stop telling the community that we are wrong before the community exists of you, your mum and you mate who rebuffs people on the forums for you.
You simply need to take this out and start again. All you will achieve otherwise is shoe-horning in something that was ok in concept (perhaps), poorly designed and implemented with a sledgehammer at the expense of your subscribers.
The change is like upgrading windows from windows 7 to 3.1 but with a nice flatscreen. |

1) CCP CEO took public excuse for their arrogant "we know better than you" attitude and now we are back to Door In Face.
2) Someone actually authorized this UI abortion to go live. I mean, how is it possible that nobody noticed the new Addams Family marsterpiece takes 40-50 seconds just to load a medium tower contents whereas the old system took 1 second?
How is it possible that they found the Manure Depot practical enough to manage reactions?
How is it possible that they found the Code Blasphemy good enough to be used to loot in big battles PvP?
Have they even attempted living in a WH for 10 minutes? How did the Elephant Poo make the testers life in there?
The sad thing is that the coder actually, technically did a nice work, the "thing" does not crash or fail in 1000 stupid ways like some older CCP masterpieces used to do.
But the concept, the concept is TERRIBLE.

The changes are great, even the new inventory is much better, just takes sometime to get used to it.
The only issue I've been experiencing (and many other pilots) is the chat windows refresh is not working. What I mean is that the pilots in the chat windows (e.g.: local) don't clean up when a pilot leaves the system or logoff. That creates a difficult situation when you are not sure who is and who is not in the system. Note: the same problem is happening in all other chat windows except for corporation. |

i know the new ui system is going to be permanent, but everyone cant yell turn it back we need to give better solutions to this problem. i see the advantage of it and more important the disadvatage as i use it.
1. we do need multiple windows for the ui that can be pinable. they can use the same ui you have just given us that's fine with me. 2. pos guns should be put in a drop down menu like you have for corp hangers so all we see is 1 icon saying guns unless we open it. this would also work with wrecks and cans in space. we still need it to work with our personal overview so we can close things we don't need till we need them... ex: i don't have my pos guns on overview but i do for labs and corp hangers and arrays, that's all i need to see when i am at a pos... 3. because you now list all ships by name not type this must be restored as naming is for fun not so our ships can be first in list or stuck in middle of it. 4. because we can't name our structures they need to be nameable so we can at least put them in a specific spot on the list, labs do this so make it so all workable structures that use the ui are nameable. 5. we need a option to right click and close to view some of the hangers you show us. i have full rights to corp hangers but many don't and they don't need a window they can't see or take from adding to the mass of info loaded every time we dock. i bet this is also taxing your servers as i have about 5-10 bil in each corp hanger worth of stuff not counting my personal inventory that is huge enough and must load every time i dock. 6. turning off some of the hangers when we don't use them or cant because of roles would also benefit when you decide to give us multiple windows or even now as we can shift click for another window and set 1 to show only corp windows and 1 to show our personal stuff. 7. ships in space specificly cap ships with multiple hangers must be restored to the old 1 window for cargo 1 for ship hanger 1 for corp hanger and drones, this is my biggest problem is i cant see whats in my cargo unless i want to have the lag of a window refreshing and causing lag in space. lag kills..... the stacking of these windows wasn't that messy in the first place.. i dont expect you to do this but at least let us have a pinable inspace place for ui and a dif pinable station ui. i keep my ui where my ship controls are in station but this doesn't work when undocked but works great in station yet if i undock i have to change it around.
i have more small changes but this is getting long. i know we are not going back to the old ui but we do need a working version of it that doesn't cause lag or frustration when trying to have fun.
i already posted my b-ing earlier now its time for constructive advise from people who have tons of stuff and years of play not just a bring back the old as we don't like it. personaly it does have its advantages but causes way more problems as it is now than before but you will fix this if people try to tell you what they think should be done. i understand a lot of people like this ui so only people who hate it are here complaining and i am 1 of them to but i want it to be fun to work not hard or worse dangerouse in missions or space....
THANKS for trying and i hope you can get a resonable fix implemented next tue or as soon as you can anyways.
i would like to talk about other things but i got so frustrated all i do is afk mine now so i don't even care to try the new missles or use a ship in combat now. GOOD luck with the fix

When Inventory and Overview are sharing the same window frame:
CCP, you need to make the overview come to the foreground or bring it into focus when exiting a station with the inventory open. The first thing I should see when entering space is my overview, period. No discussion necessary as anything else is pointless and makes no sense.
Along the same vein, when I double-click a wreck in the overview, the inventory should then be brought to the foreground or given focus. If I'm double-clicking the wreck, I obviously wish to loot, not watch the pretty overview icon change.
And please do something about the loot lag while you're at it. |

I did not mind how lackluster t1 Caldari frigates are, because the Merlin was such a flexible machine.. and honestly.. very good with rockets or rails.
With the dropping of missiles on that ship, we have no viable dueling or 1v1 t1 frigate for those of us that prefer missiles and want to see the sexy new effects CCP has blessed us with. I wish CCP had maybe buffed the Kestrel or the Condor and MADE a viable missile frigate before taking that option away from the Merlin.
I loved doing a rocket/newt combo... surprising those Enyo pilots with a t1 frigates was just precious. Now with the guns competing with Neut for Capacitor... not so much.
We will adapt, we always do.. but as it stands... with the Kessie's PG and lack of midslots, I just don't see a viable caldari pvp missile frig.
Please Fix it... soon. |

I couldn't agree more. I have been playing for over 4 years with 9 accounts. I have paid more money to this game than I should have in this time period. I don't play other on-line games except for eve. First you make it even more difficult for individuals to make isk as an industrial pilot by ruining dronelands. Now instead of leaving us to get along with one major patch, you give us another pointlessly long patch that makes only makes the missiles look cooler. This is the equivalant of 20 guys working on a car to beautify it only to find out that they only put a coat of polish on it.
This game has only gotten worse. It seems as though that you are trying your hardest to get rid of the older players in this game. Leave it alone. Work on making new ships, better looking modules, easier to use player format, and give the industrial guy a break. Or you might find yourself with a mass exodus of your own. |

Some really good ideas in the update. I love the ship balancing and the new nemesis model. Good job there. I also love the value calculator for my inventory (but it should calculate the value for stuff in boxes. Y U NO LIKE FOLDERS CCP?)
The unified inventory presents some usability challenges, however. I've seen a lot of these posted already but the point here is to add another voice of support. I suggest strongly that CCP consult with a few people who actually do the meat and potatoes stuff running a corp, because this **** has been broken since i started playing and still is....
-Salvaging missions has become absurdly cumbersome. Fix - don't put cargo containers, your ships cargohold in part of the unified inventory or give players the option to OPT OUT and let the client REMEMBER that we've opted out. I tried salvaging mordus with a maxed noctis pilot and wanted to die many painful deaths.
-POS management is again cumbersome because of the huge amount of modules present. This new system exposes several flaws in the corp hangar / POS system in general. Too many things to fix here, but it does highlight how this new unified inventory does not favor a large number of structures on your overview
-CORP hangar management suffers same problems as POS, especially if you use containers
-Station containers, vaults, etc still not fixed (why cant i trash things that are in them? If this inventory is going to be like an OS, at least let it work like an OS - imagine windows where I couldn't trash something if i'd put it in a folder, INSANE!)
-What I think is an obvious feature is still missing - I can't use filters in my wallet
-I cant see only corp orders from my wallet (I can see them from the market, but i like to look at orders and the market details SIDE BY SIDE just like everybody else)
All things considered, the inventory needed changing. I honestly do believe that the sidebar effect does have some uses, but I think the implementation hasn't been fully thought out and/or tested. Its good to move off in any direction, though instead of doing nothing. Please take note of the user feedback, and lets refine the inventory until it stops being a cause for frustration. |

Ok my computer was out and now I find out that the datacore nerf sucked up half of the datacores I had been producing? Way to go CCP ... this will teach me to resub just before an expansion again ... pretty sure this is the last straw for me with this unified inventory garbage making the game so cumbersome as to be unplayable, and then to find out I just lost half my datacores in reasearch on top of that? For me this Datacore stuff isn't a passive income ... I manufacture, or I should say, I used to manufacture T2 stuff, and this is going to seriously throw me behind schedule.
Guess it's time to take down the POS and log in to train skills for a while until the sub runs out.
Edit: Before someone says "But they said they weren't going to adjust it" please read and understand the first 5 words I typed in my post. |

Apparently, since Inferno changes the actual sovereignity of lowsec FW systems if owned, it's now impossible for neutrals to use the planets in such systems for PI, alike to how it's not possible to do so in sov'd enemy nullsec systems. BUT lowsec is not nullsec and thus still kinda public.
As my corp is quite pro-minmatar militia and recently settled a lowsec home in minnie FW lowsec to assist the militia guys in roams, generally protecting the area and investing into its infrastructure (POCOs, etc) and generally using it for our advantage, I don't see why neutral associates should be locked out of FW systems that way. After all, even the Militia System Upgrade is public and helps anyone not in an opposing militia, so I assume this is just a bug sloppily drawn alongside with the nullsec sov system being used for FW. |

Right but its nothing more than a button to call for allies or offer an alliance. Really has nothing to do with mercs except you can apperently send isk amount for joining the war... I like and want my separate windows back whats this bullshit i have to hold down shift to open windows and why cant i add shortcuts in the neo to fix this problem or put things back the way there were.
And when i double click on a ship to look inside it now it changes the ship FFS how stupid.
Some of us are visual players i liked the icons representing my ships now they all look the same and i have to click on each one or read each one i prefer not to wear my glases to play.
CCp stop screwing AROUND WITH THE MENUS LEAVE THEM THE HELL ALONE
When a patch update comes out i expect to look forward to new things and to fix things not to stuff up a prefectly working menu system i hate logging in after you updates make me not want to play anymore. |
