The patch notes said the crash reporter on the Mac will now work. I just got a crash and guess what?
At least it was a different error.

Originally by: Jim Luc You can easily sacrifice a couple extractors to get a processor - it will save you time.
That said - I really hope they make PI worth it soon.... I'm starting to lose patience, spending all of my training time training advanced PI skills, money for colonies, and the time it takes to get extractors and everything..... I haven't sold anything yet, so I'm still waiting for them to create a valid market. If the profit on 6 planets is less than a L4 mission, then I will have wasted 3 months on useless PI....
My 4 planets I am extracting are working just fine. The taxes are not bad. I feel running pure extracting on my planets. then moving them to a 5th planet to be processed is easy, and maybe a little more efficient. Since your out put is more then it would be. If you put processors on along with the extractors. I may not be the best I may not be the worst But I will do my best |

Try running "repair.exe" located in EVE main folder. After that, try to clear the game cache. If nothing helps, you can either reinstall the whole client or file a petition and/or bug report.

CCP has a bad habit, and that habit is partial development. Their continued pattern over the past several years has been to announce features for a future patch, develop half of them, put the remaining half on 'development backburner' - the dreaded backlog - and then forget about them as soon as a shiny toy distracts them. These features put on the backburner are not random odds and ends, but crucial functions without which the features that did get implemented cannot perform effectively. The dev cycle does not behave like a well-prioritized system designed to triage the more critical functions of the game, but rather the erratic high velocity trajectory of a kitten jacked up on methamphetamine.

Mission desyncs, where a NPC ship is not at the position it appears to be where quite common a few years ago and with todays patch the desyncs seem to have returned.
Sometimes a target cannot be webbed, or when a NPC pops the wreck appears a few kilometer away from the position where it should be.

Edited by: Sister Steal on 29/06/2010 23:32:11 Again the automatic patch failed. It never worked with any patchs.
It always stops at patchw32.dll and nothing happens. I need to kill the process.
Dell pc, winxp. Anti-virus & firewall off.
Fortunately the repair tool works.

Edited by: Alto Hopix on 30/06/2010 11:09:23 PI seems to cost a lot at first, but then the bonus is you passively earn it back in the long run. I think at the moment it's more of a secondary sub-income along side a more reliant primary source.

Edited by: Frank Fearless on 30/06/2010 14:48:01 Regarding the Primae, I just cannot belief CCP would invest resources in such a uttlery useless ship. With 9 hours of skilltime my new alt char is able to fly a industrial at level 2 that can hold 12600 m3.
Having three different cargo bays without meaningful special bonus is a joke. 1000m3 for PI goods does not get me anywhere. If the PI cargobay would be like 10k with the option to use expanded cargoholds that blows it up further, then I might reconsider, but right now I just put it in the same hangar as Apotheosis and Zephyr and forget it. Sure the ship looks cool and I really REALLY like the design, but right now this is a giant heap of scrapmetal not worth the effort of utilizing or recycle it.
The old saying is true that you cannot expect anything decent if you get it for free. It is just a shame as I would have been willing to actually PAY for it if it would have been any good. What a giant disappointment.... |

So, as I live in a WH - do I have to go out to empire and dock in a station to get this new PI-ship-thingy? No deliveries to WHs?

Lmao .... click on buttons on a planet. ******ed and should not be the main focus of an expansion. You redesign one ship... then design a new useless ship and throw it at us in a patch/update and just shinney other ships.
The Procurer is the smallest Mining Barge, and the easiest to attain the skills to fly. The major drawback to the Procurer is its limited mining capacity of only 1 Strip Miner or Ice Harvester module. A single Strip Miner can only mine 560m3 every 3 minutes, less than what most other ships can mine with Miner IIs. The positive side is it can mine ice which is very valuable. Few people use Procurers, as an additional 4 days of training will get you the Retriever barge, which is much better for mining.
Wtf is this still not adressed.
