Wow so disappointed with this patch. Where is the Epic Arc Fix? Really, what a useless patch.

Where is the fix for epic arcs. The CCP gag order is still in effect. No word on this yet...

Cool city lights on the dark side of the planet, when i'm in a laggy fleet fight and my guns won't cycle i can stare out into space and see if i can see them while i wait to die having fired only one shot.
Thanks, another hard hitting patch that has dealt with the big issues in EVE..

This is correct, more information on how it will work will be added to the patch notes as soon as possible.

A FIX FIXES A PROBLEM
SOME ONE HAS DEFINITELY NOT FILLED THEIR DOWNTIME QUOTA
These were quick fixes (in the grand scheme of the game). Someone had to go in and change some numbers to be more realistic. The lights and the gravity are game immersion fixes. These were also fixes that didn't require much code monkey time.
This signature is useless, but it is red.

These are also the sort of fixes you can give to a newbie to do - give them a list of planets, tell them to go through and make sure this field is between 0.75 and 1.25, if it isn't put a random number in in that range.
Conversely fixing rockets would require more changes and testing - the testing part being important as its a task you couldn't necessarily give to a newbie as they wouldn't have the knowledge to know if things were now correct.

Yeah, don't invest a little time into fixing something that matters and instead invest next to no time into fixing something that has no effect at all.

Would it be possible to adjust the in game clock to local time? It gets confusing to constantly have to recalculate the local time from server time.

Well this is rather stupid and a bit of a let-down I thought I could apply it to any character on my accounts not just the one with the highest SP.

*facepalm* If you're going to contradict something then at least have the decency to address the points made.
Doesn't matter how much newbie dev time you allocate, they're not going to get a change that influences the game balance inside one release period. Should those newbie devs sit there twiddling their thumbs or do something useful.

eve is not played in one timezone. think about how complex it would become if everyone kept referring to their local time. Uing eve time makes it easy to coordinate over multible timezones.

I completely agree. What a dumb restriction. What if you've stopped training your high skill char in favour of another? Sounds like a rushed coding job to me.

Probably the gravity value will have an impact on DUST514 like: - How high can you jump; - How much weight can you carry; - How fast you fall, etc. ... or maybe not. Just some speculation.
Was looking forward for the Epic Arc fixes as well, I really like those.

Originally by: iP0D No changes to the workflow mechanisms of Planetary Interaction? I can't even begin to count the friends lost over time because of that, at least come up with a way to restart harvestors collectively, or allow multiple selections of PINs.
Please please please! With 5 planets with Elite Command Centers on, I'm doing literally hundreds of mouse clicks per night just to keep production running. I don't need to change their harvest cycle, so allow grouping.
I can group my guns, why can't I group my extractors?
Madness.

The only thing that annoys me in PI is that the windows are transparent and the tex is barely readable on some planets. This is not consistent with my Settings where I turned off the transparency and it is still applied to those windows.
If not for this patch, please consider fixing it for the next one.

Exactly. I don't see why PI didn't ship with this feature. It seems obvious that PI should have had extractor grouping.

What does this mean? Since when have there ever been gravity calculations in EVE?
EVE planets and stars have had attributes that aren't used for in-game things since EVE came out. Among them is gravity strength. It can be assumed that someday these things might mean things. In the mean time, it makes sense to make the planets mentioned in chronicles and fiction as livable to have livable attributes.

No! You people need to get over this whole idea. It was a rumor that started from the SP pool idea when we didn't know what the gift was gonna be after DT. They're not removing learning skills!
This video from fan fest 2009 talks about learning skills. CCP believes they were implemented poorly, and the final conclusion reached in that video seemed to indicate that we would eventually get a skillpoint refund from them.

As is my problem. My second toon is the one I was training, not my main with the higher skill points. The loss of SP was for this one but I'm forced to use them on the one that hasn't been training for weeks :(

Regarding SP addition. Why don't you tie SP to our accounts and we can use that on any char we have, not the one you pick?
It's unfair to force anything to players, especially if it's as simple as this feature. You should give SP pool to player account and player can choose on which char(s) to apply those SP. Wouldn't that be more appropriate for everyone?
