It is too easy to blame CCP for everything. Try to switch on your brains and think again. If you ever did a project covering more than one significant issue you should know that each issue normally has its own team and issues are closed independently of each other (unless the relate to each other from the beginning). So, for example, they wanted to introduce night lights on planets and assigned someone to it. His/her/their task was completed in time for this patch. Other teams are working on other issues - including those bugs that were reported to CCP.
CCP surely has its own vision of Eve's future. It may or may not coincide with what you anticipate. In any case you have to follow what they think is better for Eve or leave it. I am even sure they take constructive feedback into account if they can find it among other junk, so I guess if you want to influence the future of Eve - get a job with CCP.

They are sisi patches. So yes and no. And since i don't think there is a built in patch remover, if u apply a patch and it happens to not be the same, ud have to reinstall entire client. Don't quote me on that tho.

has anybody tried that pach yet? does it work? i would wayt for the auto patch loader rather than install something from a crappy link. but...has anybody installed it yet? does it work?
i'm getting used to such promises from ccp. it would have been better to aproximate one day of downtime and have the server start earlier than the other way around. :p

Why they don¦t put that link in the "EVE Patches" section on the site ? Why the repair tool (the one that in on Eve directory) don¦t upgrade automatically the game ?

I would not use the manual patch method until the patch is complete and the auto downloader works. Changes may occur at any point in the patch process. It is possible to end up having to redownload the entire client. Just a word of caution.

Dude, obviously you have never had success or scored big. What you need to do is join militia, and figure it out. FW will teach you how to survive fast. I live in lowsec, have a sec status >0 and make bank out there. Doing whatever, it just takes brains.
DUDE your so right, except I dont rely on missions for ISK. I do them sometimes to pay for PVP ships if I lose them. I play in low sec and have made lots of isk over time. Unfortunately this is a game people pay to play. I can make isk in different ways but I have the skills to match having played since launch on more than one account however lots dont have this option and they rely on missions. Why make something less fun for people as this stops them playing. It wasnt broken before so why fix it ?? Ultimately anthing that stops people playing is bad for the game. The 'fix' wont make people mission in low sec and may lead to a drop in players. Not sure this is a good thing is all

Well its obvious that you never worked in the IT-Business specially in the service for paying customers.
When you shutdown the IT of an customer and come with an sorry there is something happend we cant expect and we held the IT down for another several hours, I am pretty shure this customer will tell you with a smile in his face that such things happen and you cant predict this and he will happily wait
hm, wait I am more shure this customer will tell you that every hour of server-down costs him monery and he will reimpurse you for this downtime

I fix wrecked cars for a liveing in rl try getting body parts for a euro made BMW in the states!!! talk about downtime that really means something need a heart transplant? WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO DIE! real life has downtime why do you think that just because you pay a min of 14.95 a month that this should be any diffrent.

Ohh well DT been extended again :) Question for those demanding compo from CCP for lost game time On a normal weekday majority of the time Tranquility is online well within the reported hour long DT, giving me in effect "Free" game time, now how would you feel at end of year if CCP billed you for all your "Free" game time? Maybe offsetting the bill with the "Stolen" game time from you? Im pretty sure you would still owe CCP? And yes i understand it Poor Customer Service etc..... but i dont see many threads thanking them when servers are up early on routine DT
