Seems they all end the same.
Update to patch the not yet launched update to fix what we updated to update to try and get more money cause we failed to update what you wanted updated and I failed to update my subscription.
its unfortunate that with all the ways we have to communicate with CCP via forums, email, and petition, the only time they ever listen to us is right after we click the cancel subscription button. i've killed 2 accounts and if this expansion fails as hard as the last 3 big ones i'll cancel the rest, i see no point in playing a game were the company in charge ignores its player base and does what ever the **** it feels like with the game regardless of what the player feedback is. you can tell me its their game and they have a right to do whatever they want with it and that's fine but it doesn't mean i will keep paying them to ignore me **** YOU CCP.
Just call them directly , thats allways fun !

Or maybe people could pay attention when buying new hardware and grab a card with a decent cooling solution for a few bucks more. I will be keeping phys-x right where it is on my GTX460...

Heat? I laugh at heat.. I let it try I say, let it try...
I'm running 2 x Gainward 460's, the cooling is a little lacking when they're both under heavy load, but that's mostly due to proximity. Silly mobo. (Although with vsync on, they rarely go above a wisper.)
Still, my point stands. 460 or not, if you are having heating issues, at least try disabling the physx on the vid card, assuming your CPU fan isn't just as noisy.
Still, hot graphics cards is why you buy a beast of a headset. (If I can hear it over this, it is likely on fire.) ----- Cheesecake, Natures ultimate weapon.

A patch is like the politic - there's some fanboy and hateboy of a side (depend if feel uped or nerfed). - we got impatient and hope ( we hope they were elected next time and begin the work quick) - we got disappoitement (finally few thing have changed)

The issue of the wormhole corporation hangar not allowing alliance members access has NEVER been addressed...And the choice to pick it is STILL there...How hard is it to add that little detail into this new update? or ANY update for that matter... It really is a pain for alliance members not being able to access things at your POS especially when we live in there...

The "harshness" of EVE is player driven. CCP do not interfer with player harshness such as general scamming as this would catalyse petitions etc. The learning curve of EVE becoming streamlined does not change the harshness of EVE. There has been no research conducted that the avg. intelligence of players has become lower.
I would like to put forward a hypothesis that:
Please note: Maybe I'm completly wrong, I am tired unfortunately, and I'm not meaning to troll, I am attempting to analyse community behaviour
Older EVE players, who once touted the complexity of EVE and propogated an elitist attitude within the community when comparing them and EVE with other MMO's, and who are now becoming generally tired of a game and are on the verge of leaving, are now self-validating thier past elitist ego through complaining that EVE is becoming more simple and that the avg. player inteligence is lower.

Originally by: Mark MyWord I hope that all of you who complain about the code, lack of features, priority of Incarna, or ATI compatibility have never coded, or had experience sustaining PR (Public Relations), because we can let your complaints go as ignorance. If you really want all these things changed, because you tout yourselves as so important, why don't you get a job at CCP and code for them and make everyone's lives easier with your mad skills. EVE is a hard beast to tame - that's why CCP is big, too. The best coders, designers, and directors aren't the makeup of CCP or any gaming company. The best have to deal with less-skilled people that work within their company and not just those outside of CCP, like you. Be thankful for what they give you. I'm thankful I don't have to pay $60 for every expansion. I'll admit, my Dell 390 is from 2006 and it runs everything fine, but some manufacturers do a better job than others, and it's up to the user to decide what their computer needs and budgets are.
In order to move forward, things have to get rearranged. That's how the EVE universe and the real universe move through time. If that means that old users are rearranged with new users, or users rearrange their old computer hardware with new hardware - we must move forward nonetheless. Who knows where your atoms came from. All of life had to get their atoms from something before them - whether it be the $hit from fish or the gas from plants (or planets). It's not like we're all unique one-time creations. Our bodies shed most of itself throughout its life only to rearrange its losses with newer consumables. Our planet came from our sun, and our solar system came from the atoms and reactions within our galaxy etc. I don't just play EVE, I play life.
You sir are mad!
So-called madness is the alternative to stupid dependency.

For everyone *****ing about their computers overheating and not able to play: I play on a Dell 1545 when I'm away from home. Yeah, that's right, I laptop with an Intel 4 series chipset, and I don't have any heat issues, sitting stock on a desk. And I run this on low/med settings. So for everyone who is *****ing about Incarna and Incursion overheating their systems, try updating your drivers (I know nVidia had a GPU fan issue a bit back), cleaning your systems out, and for the more technical of users, replace the thermal paste. Otherwise, stop *****ing and get more fans.
Also support a bunch of comments people made about CQ that I didn't think of until I read through here, especially about the ship-switching and rapid deployment for PvP/PvE. While I do like the whole "my character has a purpose other than a face in the corner of my screen" aspect, a "Do not leave ship" option would be nice when docking, especially if it's for a moment to repair hull and recharge sheild/cap before jumping back out into a mission.

you can already download the patch - just look some posts upward .. around #400
just dont use IE 32 bit for downloading - then you install, wait for the opening of the server, apply client patch and everything's fine
@Jasmine - extended to 2100 UTC

Here I am with a brand new computer the very best I could afford to buy, and guess what ?? its got an AMD card in it !! (Asus AMD Radeon HD 6950 DirectCU II 2GB Graphics Card)I had this new computer custom built for me so I could get as much game play out of eve that I could, and what have you lot just done?? screwed around with the damn graphics that's what !! what's the point in folks upgrading there computers, have you lot got something against AMD / ATI?? just 1 question for you lot now WHY??????...I suspect you have your hands in NVIDIA'S pocket as well have you ... NOT HAPPY...
I would suspect the game will run well with hardly any difference for you compared to Nvidia users?
Some minor features arn't compatible and it is partly to do with the AMD/ATI cards isn't it?
ATI = Performance on a Budget Nvidia = new features on latest tech.
CCP went with latest tech, dudes who decided with budget cards get left behind.
ATI users should be upset they chose an inferior product, not that CCP chose to develop on newer, superior technology.

I believe the idea of the pod is that it is a "mind-link" medium for the character to interact directly with the ships control systems and excape system. As the capsuleer pilot is a heavily invested in individual, compared to the rest of the ships crew (if any). I like to think of the captain/pilot/capsuleer is "hardwired" either wirelessly or with wires, to the ship, but there is a captains chair, bridge, etc. And that in the event of ship destruction, an emergency system is activated that encloses the captains chair in the pod and is ejected.
I do not believe there is any lore in the past that stated that characters can not leave their pods.

Ah well, they first planned it from 5:00 am to 19:00 pm EVE Time... So the 4 hours extra aren't really a surprise...
Also you should visit the homepage from time to time, it holds updated info.
