Edited by: Hassan Cehef on 04/03/2009 07:25:05 I have made some test about why I couldn't fing the same value for the strips/miners yield with an implanted squad booster between EFT and my ingame showinfo (that has a higher yield).
My conclusion is that EFT doesn't count that this implant has TWO effects: - it gives a 50% bonus to the time reduction of mining foreman link modules - it also gives a 50% bonus to the yield bonus of the mining foreman skill (necessarely at 5)
the second effect is not counted by EFT.

Hi!
I hope this wasn't posted before: There must be a problem in calculation the needed cpu for the 425mm Prototype I Gauss Gun. EFT shows me that this gun needs 44,3 tf with weapons upgrade to lvl5, but ingame the gun need 47,2 tf. I have imported all my skills with the API into EFT and i have weapons upgrade to Lvl5. Can someone confirm/check this? Thanks in advance...

You sure you don't have a gun CPU reducing implant in your EFT character?

Just downloaded this week , excellent prog, this would have saved me a lot of wrecks and isk. question how do I get the DPS graph to work please it opens but say's nothing selected.

The latest build, 2.9.1 was for the last expansion and is the latest build you need. Of course this could all change in a few days, but for every non-T3 ship it'll still probably be useful.
Also tracking enhancers don't seem to work properly - T1s give more bonus than T2 and T2s seem to give too much according to in-flight and in EFT unless the in game show info rounds down..., anyway try these two fits:

Maybe this has already been covered (too many pages to sift through it all in detail).
I set up an Impel (transport ship) with 7 x CE's and using the "All level V" character, and it only returned 27.8km3 as max cargo.
In fact, switching between "No skills" and "All level V" didn't change the amount of cargo space at all, it remained 27.8km3.
Seems like EFT doesn't take into account the added cargospace granted from Industrial and Transport skill sets (5% per level)

If that "another computer" has Windows 2000 or older OS, try the "Force Hi-Color icons" option. It wont fix all issues, but it could make icons more distinct. Problem is that only win XP and newer OS has support for icons with 8-bit alpha-channel.

thanks for the fine tool. I was tinkering with my fittings and found out, that somehow switching from my character template to "All Vs" the DPS decreased as it should increase?

Since extracting the zip and running it. I try to import my API key/Userid ID and it states UserID parameter is missing :(

Open EFT -> Help -> Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: I found that sometimes when I change the skill responsible for the ship bonus nothing changes. A: Some ships require certain skills at level 5 and give bonuses based on such skills. In that case bonuses in EFT will always be like you have this skill at level 5 even if you don't have it at all. For example you can't fly any Heavy Assault Ship without having it's race cruiser skill at level 5 so the bonuses those ships get from their cruiser skills will be always like you have this skill at level 5.

Is anyone else having a problem importing their character in to EFT? It used to work and now after the last patch I can no longer import my character. I even tried deleting the EFT profile and put it back in. User ID is correct and I even regenerated a new API key. I have also waited around for an hour just in case the new API key needed some time. --------------- pew pew |

API support goes down after pretty much every patch. There's no way to be truly accurate, because different ships from the same faction can deal different types of damage. Most of it looks ok, but some Angels definitely deal thermal damage - you won't want a bunch of Angel Saints on you with low thermal resist...

I don't suppose you could make a super addon that is for fitting POS's that shows ~DPS, range of turrets, and all that cool stuff. Basically the same fitting model that you have for ships, but for POS's.
We are in such need for that.
