Neither one of listed urls works for me...
I do not know if I should have done this, but I did it anyway.
I have made a MSI-based installation program for EFT 2.5.1, this installer will install the EFT to your Program Files, add short-cuts to your Deskop, Quick Launch and Start Menu (if selected). It also has its own uninstaller, which will remove EFT from your computer, while keeping the EFT settings and fitting logs.

I will remove this download if Gripen requests it, as I have not asked him if he is happy that I distribute a installer version of EFT. (I hope he does not mind  )
I made this simply because I hate having to drag the zip to my program files and make short cuts for it all the time.

While it's Gripen's choice to put it on EVE-Files or not. I would personally recomend that downloading off EVE-Files - make sure the file is located in either Gripen's OR my folder (/media/corp/gripen/ and /media/corp/OTHER/) due to the recent attempts to infect EFT packages with viruses (and most other locations get auto-removed anyway).

the output xml File, not Contains the levels.

Yep, seems it is borked. Getting lvl 0 for all skills in EFT, while EVEMon is fine.

The lock time function still seems to be returning bad values. It's pretty accurate for smaller targets, but for larger targets the lock time listed is faster than it should be. Targeting a battleship shows about 15-20% faster than it should. Any word on what formula you use to come up with those times?

My skills are being reset to 0 when I try to import too. It gives an error message saying Parsing Error. Server response has been saved to: C:\...\EFT\APIError.txt

Yep, all skillz at 0 for me to no matter what I do. Reinstall, new character and what not. It seems to connect to server, but then when checking all skillz still at 0. Worked just great yesterday.

Please change the About dialog box so that the hyperlinks load Default Browser instead of Interturd Explorer. kkthx.
Also, how about changing the text link on the Import Character window to a hyperlink, too.

I also am having the same issue as stated above.
I have followed the directions as stated in the faq.txt.
Hopefully the author resolves this issue soon as his software is Very well written and useful by a vast portion of the eve community.

Still have the same issue with the new version (2.5.1). It resets all skills to 0 after a few seconds.

I think the import thing is definitely an "issue" on EVE's side rather than EFT; it was working fine until a few days ago, and I haven't even installed 2.5.1 yet so nothing's changed here. I can only assume that EVEMon is less "fussy" about what info it's getting from the API server - although I do remember it taking absolutely ages the other day to access the info for a new character I added...

I'd also say it's an issue with EVE rather than EFT, because there's problems on ineve.net with the api aswell - all learning skills bonuses are reporting 0 in the attributes list.

Same here. There is also a problem with finished skills in EVEmon. They are showing up as 100% done on my skill plans and never go away. So I guess it's something with the API atm yeah.

Yes, same issue. It's an API problem. We can only hope CCP fixes it swiftly (and maybe whine in the EVE technology discussion forum  )

I've decided not to use Eve-Files anymore. What kind of problems you're experiencing with downloading? If you know file hosting service what will work for you - name it and I'll upload there.

Well, the 1st site (depositfiles) is riddled with popups, and the 2nd site never has any download slots available. Would somewhere like download.com not be suitable ?

I just wanted to let you know I'd be willing to offer use of my host as a means for users to download this brilliant program. I just bought quite a nice plan for my corporation which has 5TB of bandwidth. As one might imagine I've had everything setup for about two weeks now and we've only used 80MB of bandwidth. In addition, the server runs an automated virus check every hour so it would be perfectly safe for users.
I have plenty of free FTP accounts under cPanel and would be willing to grant you a subdirectory where you could host this program.
Feel free to contact me ingame regarding this issue.

i wish you would upload to eve files Grimpen :) as the sites provided suck some mayor ballz.
first one has a lame 90 sec wait and other one says its out of slots all the time :(
if you are afraid that the ppl who try to hack your program might also.. then that just sucks.. if you have a original link here it shouldnt cause too much of a issue and iv seen cribba say that he trys to removed the bad copys as fast as he sees them.
so please.. give it some thought :)

Sorry I must have missed your original response. I'll admit I never really took a look at the formula Darunia submitted until now. I dug up some old numbers and compared measured values against TomB's original formula, Taylorana's formula, and Darunia's formula. Comparison was made with 56.25mm ScanRes.
Result table is here.
It looks like that formula is close for small things but gets too fast as the target gets larger. The specific version of Taylorana's formula that I used was from this post. The source for a little web calculator in perl that uses it is here if that is of any benefit.
Also EFT doesn't seem to cap the time at 180 seconds as would happen in game, although that may be intentional.

So how much are u getting per newly registered user on those servers u chose to use?
I have been trying all bloody day to dl the file and everytime the dl slots are either full or the serviceis teporary unavailable. It is perfectly clear why u opted not to use evefiles anymore, u decided it was time ppl starting to pay for your work. I am sad this is the road u took as there will be a replacement for ur tool on these forums within weeks. I know several others already and with a lil luvin' they will become just as good, if not better. Anybody remember Quickfit, it was less than a month before nobady was using that anymore...
I hope u get a few bucks out of it, but dont expect me to register to get it... i am sure someone will upload it onto EVE-FILES very soon anyways.
I guess it was good while it lasted...

I absolutely agree.. how dare someone get paid for their work. 
Since you can't stand the wait to download free software it must suck waiting in the welfare line. Or do you do a job where you get paid?
