Could be that Gripen is on vacation or something else along those lines

I'm sure he'll get it updated when he gets the time, but is it possible for anyone else to take over updating EFT if Gripen ever get's tired of messing with it? But I would not worry about it, you can update your character without speed data and restart EFT with them later. Aside of it, as we expect new version soon, it is marginal issue.

And in short is it purely leet. Its EFT/EveMon/Assets and more all into one. Not an exorbitant amount, but enough to make it worthwhile to keep developing it, and enough to keep every single Eve player from having a copy. There would of course be those that would refuse to pay, making it better for those that did. Gripen, charge something so you can profit from such a great tool. Maybe in the future we can complain that he only works for this 18 hours a day, when clearly the day has 24 hours. EFT is free and great. Gripen should be made into a statue to be worshiped by all of the hard-core number-fiddlers out there. You have no right whatsoever to complain about anything, even if the next version has a vocal interface that swears at you every time you click on something. It's free for pete's sake! Gotta wait for eft update... it's not so easy to understand like EFT, but with a bit of time, it's a great tool... i wait for the eft update, then compare EFT and EVEHQ, and if the values are equal, well, then i think, i switch to EVEHQ... but only cause there are more features then in EFT :) if the values are different, then i come back to EFT, which i trust more at the moment (cause the values are different between actual EVEHQ and the old EFT )

I would say that next EFT is anticipated more as was the QR patch itself. @Keitaro: Use that organ hidden in your skull between ears. Most of us use EFT when we cannot log online or need validate fitting needs in the release build, not in the testbed where parameters can be different. :P

I want Girplan to make EFT so it checks my skillpoints, wallet and hangars, consults my kills and losses on BattleClinic, then recommends ships and fitouts for a variety of purposes, not only for now but also what I should be training for next, allowing me to export a plan to EVEMon. Then if it could log into EVE and totally solowtfpwn other pilots, that would be great. Finally, it should be able to post on these forums, causing other players to drop their mouths in awe at my uberness. Yeah, that's the ticket!

If that were fixed, it would be a very good application. The shipfit portion seems to be taken almost exactly from EFT. Of course, I can't recall the last time EFT crashed...
