Anyway. 4 weapons are not THAT bad with proper bonuses on them. It's a lot cheaper to buy 4 officer launchers than say 7 or 8 of them. At the end of day however all what counts is is it faster in missions than CNR
I've heard rumors that they'll get some sort of siege-like module which will let those 4 weapons put out reasonable DPS, leaving you lots of highslots you can use for nosfes, neuts and other fun stuff.
I doubt CCP wants t2 battleships to put out significantly more damage than t1 battleships, I think the design goal is to make them more versatile.
Could be wrong, of course.

Say hello to my little bubble! No one leaves here alive!
I'm betting operating one of these in empire owned space will be grounds for sic'ing a navy on you (like warp disruption bubbles, and cyno fields), half those penalties (if not all of them) affect the ship using the warp disrutption field generator, and they'll only work on heavy dictors. Also, because it only has a 1pt scram strength, even a single warp stab will keep you safe . . . but who's going to fit a wcs on a combat ship? 100% increase in lock time is a HUGE penalty (arises from the 50% sig resolution). If you think the penalties mean the heavy dictor is a sitting duck while it's running the disruption generator, it makes sense that it has to be able to take loads of punishment. It also explains why the maller was chosen for the amarr. It already looks like a sick duck. And, if even one of those speed penalties affects other ships in the bubble, I weep for the nano ship gank squads, and drones. Everything will be moving at molasses pace in there. Instead of getting that sick 500% bonus to speed, you're only getting 10% of (or) 20% speed bonus, so, that's like going from 500m/s to 550m/s. Still, fast enough for a faction fitted uber vagabond to get out, but not before it cries and bleeds. Also, all pods are f'cked. 1pt is enough to keep em there.
And why don't the amarr get an astrometrics frig? We've had enough time to steal everyone else's frigates and reverse engineer them. Or they could use the tormentor for the electronic attack frig, but another crucifier hull is almost as lame as the pink thorax, and a pink and black domi, when clearly it should be yellow and black. Pink and black isn't ugly or funny enough. NEW ITEMS
MORE STUFF
I find it interesting that the warp disruption field generator lists a warp scramble strength of 1. I'm guessing that the mod is intended for use on the heavy interdictors instead of a bubble launcher, but if 1 stab can counteract it, I don't see why anyone would want to use it. Any thoughts?
If the interpretation that it is a area effect generator with 16 km radius is right, you need to look all the effects:
- 80% afterburner/ microwarp thrust bounus (probably on the ship using the module) in reality a malus;
- mass reduction -80% (probably a typo, it is +80% and is on the ship using the moduel);
- signature radius bonus 50% (can be both ways using ship or affected ship, probably the ship using it);
- - 90% microwarp and afterburner max velocity bonus (for ship in the bubble); - warp scramble 1 (for ship in the bubble).
So the module seem to affect all the ship in a 16 km range drastically lowering the max speed and doing 1 point of warp scramble without the need of a target lock.
If all the above is right it is the gravity well generator that was in on the drawing board (and I would like that name much more ).
To me it seem a very good module (read: overpowered). Even with the drawbacks it will block any ship without warp stabilizers installed without a lock and if more than one can be used in the same area there is little hope to escape from a campe equipped with them.

Originally by: Alex Harumichi As noted above: please, people, remember that these are preliminary placeholder stats and are almost certain to change. Also, we have no idea of the actual bonuses these ship will get, and bonuses are the key factor. Panicing or whining at this point only makes you look silly (don't let that stop you, tho' :).
On that note, the black & red Black Ops Dominix looks cool. Oh, and the pink Thorax? Gotta have one.
I still have faith that the Amarr ones will suck in comparison to the others - it's a natural law of EVE :P I can already see the laser RoF bonus and a mediocre cap on both!

Actually I am beginning to think that the mass reduction bonus is NO typo. Look at it.
The MWD thrust bonus is dependant on mass. We get a 80% mass reduction *and* a 80% MWD thrust reduction. What does this give us?
The ship gets FAR more agile, but still gets the same AB/MWD thrust/mass ratio.
And why? Because of the AB/MWD speed reduction. Which I highly doubt that it is applied on ships in the bubble, but on the heavy dictor itself. It only shows "warp scramble range". The other effects have no range stats and are therefor limited on the ship itself. The order of the effects means little, that is often a bit random on modules.
They want to make the heavy dictors slow down when they start the bubble. And slow down FAST. This is the reason for the mass reduction. Lower mass = higher agility = faster accelleration and decelleration.
They could replace the mass reduction simply with an inertia reduction and save themselves the MWD thrust malus, though.

Exactly. And thats the thing most ppl dont get. If bubble INCREASED mass then ship could move away using its inertia. If this thing hits ship with full MWD speed it will stop in spot instead of moving another 50km before speed drops by 90%.
Still wondering tho if it is a bubble or targetted module. Both might be a case here...

Lots of speculation on the Marauder ships, so I'll throw my guess in.
Has anyone considered they might get a bonuses for fitting Capital Class weapons? i.e. Dread guns on a BS?
"Where's the logic Cail? And can I have what you're smoking?"
Well we know that cap ships are likely to appear in Level 5 Missions and above, and not everyone owns a Dread, so maybe these ships are like budget Dreads, or heavy gun boats?
Just a thought.

Have to ask this again!
I am on Sisi atm and cannot see any sign of any new T2 ships, skills, or "give me the skills buttons" what am I missing here?
Bought myself a Moros in Vaere, hi sec for 100 isk which is strange, but no way to hit any magic instant skill button.

because That is the idea of T2 ships. Have lways been that and will always bee. Each ship to ahve t1 and t2 version. New models should be inserted in new T1 ships, not T2.

And the "Marauders" skill is a rank 10

Just a wild guess, but how sound this:
Marauder role bonus: 99% reduction in CPU and powergrid need for Siege Module
or a specialised, new marauder siege module with shield boost, armor repair, tracking and damage bonusses (boni, whatever). With this module 4 Weapon slots will deliver enough damage with much less cap/ammo usage, better tracking and make theese Ships very usefull in Missions and pvp.
