the rigs shown looks an awfull lot like the missionrunners wet dream... no more probing down mission ships and sneaking in through gates, you have to have the right rig on the right ship or something :(

There's one thing I like about the T2 battleship lineup here. They don't look like they'll make faction or even T1 battleships obsolete.

The warp disruption range is the only thing that counts for ships inside the bubble, all other effects are bound to the ship the module is on. Please guys, would you think that CCP would publish an item that makes two others obsolete?? Please think before posting and discussing

Perhaps the effects of this bubble are projected on the ship which deploys the bubble, instead of the ships inside it.
It makes sense for heavy interdictors, they will be deployed to catch capital ships, so you dont have to move fast. Obviously the effects are a massive downside, but the bubble cant be destroyed because its generated by a module instead of a probe, so doomsday devices or smartbombs cant destroy it.
It has range and not radius so that would seem it's a targetted module. Much speculation so far... Imo they should add covert ops 5 or recons 4-5 to the reqs for black ops instead of cloaking5, while also add command ships 4 as prereq for the marauders.
Sure it is a targetedd module, only oniplE think differently.
But indipendently if it can block a Jump, it will block a warp and slow to 10% the speed of a MWD ships and add 50% target size.
Energy cost is high, but I dubt you will need that module for much time, especially is you have multiple ship with it and it is not nerf stacked between different ships.
Actually, the name says "warp disruption field generator". Fields have dimensions, therefor its logical to assume its a bubble. It could be a cube or pyramid aswell, but i think im gonna stick with bubble for now.
As for "range" instead of "radius", dictor probes have a "range" aswell, so do mobile warp disruptors, none of them say "warp scramble radius"...
I strongly suspect that the sig radius and speed handicaps are applied to the ship using the module and not the ships caught within the radius of the disruption. In other words, while you are using it you are a big fat slow target.

are you kidding those marauders are about useless, they are worse than the T1 imo, i mean the bonuses on them are going to be mental to make up for that shocking fitting, truthfully they have made super expensive salvage ships... thats pretty much all they're good for... the kronos for example:
- barely has T2 res - has abysmal sensor strength - has ever so slightly higher hp - less turrets - less highs (which really doesn't help for salvaging) - mental skill req (which i have, but for a salvage ship?! this is going to take my alt months :p) - high speed = good, but thats about it
frankly i think the marauders are a joke, they have one good bonus and a lump of drawbacks for probably 5 - 10 times the cost of the BS, obviously cant see the bonuses yet but come on, i get the feeling it ain't getting much better.
P.S. im too upset to look at the other ships, i cant take any more disappointment today

i really hate ccp right now... soo basically your t2 battleship is worth nothing?!?! why should you even fly a bs with such low firepower, (the res+ isn't THAT great). compared to all other T2 ships it's laughable.
hmm yer that seems fair armour tanks new mod 4k+ armour shields 2k+ :S O.o come on man caldari is suffering too much already (saw the +20% armour rep thing too... sigh. as if armour tank isn't already the best without doubt)..
well there goes the hope for the T2 battleships... but wtf.. 0.0 got a lot of nice action again while the rest of the universe can just feel like they got butt-****** by a train...

Looks to me like the Disruptor will deploy a bubble effect around the ship activating the module. It has 2 speed reductions penaltys obviously 1 for whatever is within your field you one for the ship using the module ... you. So both you and the target are slowed, as others have said ship activating module gets a sig radius increase so your easier to hurt. As it maybe an area of effect module projecting a bubble round it, itll work on titans and motherships too. Screwing nano titans before they become too much trouble With HAC resists if the stats are correct, gonna be fairly easy to DD proof them as cruisers. Super caps look like they are gonna have to hide once REV III comes out.
Yeah all speculation though so wait and see ... im prolly wrong lol

I've only read the last two pages of this thread so what I say may have already been covered by other posters:
1. All the new Gallente ships need the sleek green armor of the Ishkur, not Eris Pink.
2. Tier 3 battleship hulls should have been the basis for the Marauders.
3. Giant signature radius and low HP on electronic attack ships FTL.

Oh yes, the ultrafast ship will go from 7.000 m/sec or more to 700 or more.
The "normal" ship will go from 2.000 on microwarp to 200, with 50% larger signature, and warp scrambled. All by 1 module.
Add the second and and try avoiding a gatecamp.
