Well, forgive me for thinking that the people behind the characters in this game deserve to be treated with a certain level of respect. I can spend all evening mocking or praising people based on in-game events (and often do), but I draw the line at actually going out of my way to offend the people who participate in those events. I'm sure those who have met me at Eve meets would concur that I am very good at seperating the game from the real world. To me there is a line, and it should not be crossed. I'm not saying I am perfect, because I know damn fine I am not. However, if I cross that line and someone pulls me up on it then I will act accordingly .. not mock and ridicule those who I may have offended. By treating people with that level of respect, the forums are a much more useful tool for communication, and much more enjoyable to use. That isn't to say you can't propoganda your heart out, because of course you can. Just don't go out of your way to offend the people who play this game.
