Funny, my NOD32 Antivirus (3.0.669.0) says there ia a virus in the full build :) Win32/Spy.Agent.PZ. What could it be?

Try clearing your cache and delete the downloaded patch exe manually and then retry.

Bad downlaod speed?
Just cancel the patchdownload and restart the client.
The first time gmt 11:51 the downloader gave me 20kb/s.
After some mins I canceled it and restartet the client again.
Got average 1450kb/s the second try and I have my client now patched ( both patches ) after 20 mins.

I just DL'd the 1.4GB patch for manual patching. 4.2MB/s. Lets just say its gonna take longer to copy it to my USB drive than it took to DL. Done in under 6 minutes

Patching Completed
Average DL speed of 300kbs in Ont Ca.
Auto patch system worked perfectly
1st patch just over a gig, did not error after DX setup
Restarted Client Downloaded 2nd patch at 13mb apprx
Now just waiting on Server Restart.

because some people with 10mb lines are downloading at 12kb/s.
they have some sort of snag somewhere and a torrent should get around that.
i used a download manager and got 1.25mb/s, but others are having issues, so im using my shiny new upload speed to help them get the file.

hi guys, still having the same problem that have been having the last week on the test server. which was posted about on that forum also.
when you open the cleint you dont get the auto patcher, but i managed to get someone to send me the auto patcher update. but once again when you choose what folder to install the patch in it crashes.
will ccp be making the patch available as a full download and not through the auto patcher as we have been asking about all week on the test server feedback pages? or has anyone found a work around for this fault?
currently using vista 64bit ultimate os.
a plan is just a list of things that dont happen!

Yes, you should be able to play if you have SM2.0

I keep getting "there was a temporary download error downloading the required files" (retry/cancel), had the same issue with the later SISI patch and couldn't get anything installed but it worked fine with the initial two SISI patches.
Same problem when downloading the full build or downloading anything else client-wise for that matter.
I'm currently downloading through the bittorent link which does seem to work.

Exactly, what the hell were they thinking? Or is it that they weren't? It took me 30 minutes of fighting with this to figure out how to solve the problem, because, guess what, WITH ANY XP OR NEWER INSTALL, you will have a system partition, and another drive/partition. The system partition is not a good place to install anything. Its like CCP is run by a couple of ******s or something...

select your client version, DL and run
works fine after this :)

I however agree, the new patching system is an improvement over the old.
It's alot more likely those who have issues will post and ask for help/frustrated, than those who have it working. I just thought I'd give some positive feedback as well to balance it up a bit.

WTF you talking about?
New systems do not come with a system partition and a data partition. Mainly those experianced in IT have those 2 partitions. Its not common practice!

Ignore the error and test to see if your client runs. I am betting it will, since those that have had the error so far have been fine.

I'm not getting prompted to update my client, nor can I find the correct update on the website using the menu (Eve Patches > Tranquility > Select my version). I am downloading the file using the link in http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1018184 - will let you know how that goes. Could this be because I'm in the US running via Time Warner?
