Upon further consideration, I've gone back to the conclusion that EBank is definitely going scam.
The overcollateralized loans are most likely an attempt to sucker more ISK out of an Eve community that is not dumb enough to deposit.

I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, you know the old adage "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity." However, upon some reflection it seems that mere stupidity is insufficient to adequately explain this stupidity.

Hi Ray,
There seems to be a lot of needless chat on this thread. I also submitted an eBank support quest to which I have had no reply.
I assume that is becuase there is suppose to be an imminent announcment for good or bad. Is this announcment still due?
Many thanks -bd-

Yes.
There are some technical change requirements that are holding the announcement back now. I'm aiming to have those changes in place by the end of the weekend.

Although first instinct may be to blame Ray's manboobs for the decline of ebank, it's important to consider that these are in fact a symptom, not the cause, of the current dilemma.
Ray's manboobs are in fact a result of the over supplied pancake and waffle markets, which banks naturally consume the surplus. This, combined with the declining demand for maple syrup, has put terrible economic strain on the bank, adding a lot of non-producing assets.
I have an inside source that suggests Ricdic not only made off with hundreds of billions of isk. He also stole all the execise equipment.
Folks, I have no concrete evidence, but I sense a conspiracy brewing in MD. One which will could wreck havoc on the secondary markets, while secret backroom brokers get rich on the manipulated price of dietary supplements.

Maybe I should learn from him instead of being an idiot and waste days to explain the obvious to people who don't care but to flame and troll regardless of the underlying events.
Last I checked the forums where voluntary and not some part of the login process for the game. If he truly wants to be 'left alone' or to 'work in peace' he could obviously stop checking the forums and taking the time to write zingers I'd expect to hear in an elementary school playground.
I've lurked these forums for nearly 3 years now and his recent attitude is childish and taunting.

I would, but what's the question?
I guess his question is how any withdrawals could take place during the last 30 days when all customers' ISK have been frozen for quite some time now.
I always expected this page to be updated automatically based on EBANK database and API data (and the lack of interest payments shows up correctly), otherwise the obvious explanation would be that it's outdated.
Now it looks as if some insiders are actively depositing & withdrawing ISK from EBANK, which frankly should not be the case (deposits > withdrawals for the last 30 days, so it's not such a big issue; but if these transactions are short-term capital injections by employees, I would rather like to seem them classed as injections/withdrawal of equity than as debt).

Believe it or not people are still depositing ISK with us despite our status. Athre runs through the withdrawal list every week or so and actions withdrawals for people that deposited ISK after the freeze.
That is what you are seeing in those figures.

Here's an interesting fact: Despite me, personally, sending an EVEMail out to every single damn customer telling them not to deposit ISK to Ricdic, people were still depositing.

To each their own and i am not a fan of trolling so not going to say what is good or not about ebank but it really astounds me people still are depositing.Well with that in mind the perception that once ebank unfreezes isk the bank goes down immediatly would then be a wrong judgement allthough quite honestly that is how i felt about it too.
Interesting indeed

People expected an eruption of insolvency once the Ricdic scam landed. Surprisingly, while there was a wave of withdrawls much of the isk stayed put.
My takeaway is that either there's a lot of confidence remaining the bank that remains mostly silent on these forums, and/or there's a lot of isk deposited in the bank belonging to inactive players.

My theory, hardly a radical one, is that many depositors get as far as the flashy website and nifty coding, and then fill in the rest with conceptions of real-life banks. I'm sure most of them still believe the "recovery from a single-person betrayal" story, that some EBank members continue to sell, despite the evidence of institution-wide negligence and incompetence that we got to see on this forum.
That's why there will always be room for at least one bank in Eve...because people simply don't bother to understand how weak these institutions really are. Not that I can blame them, however, as this is only a game.

You may find it interesting to know, that in order to pay off a loan, you have to deposit isk into your account and when it has registered, then move it to the loan account.
I recently paid off a large loan that I had taken out *after* the freeze, so some of that movement will be mine.

When will you be announcing the next new, new time for the announcement? Very difficult to plan my disappointment if i do not know when the next deadline has passed. I have been one of the silent majority so far waiting to see and giving you the benefit of the doubt but this latest series of fiasco failed announcements is just getting silly.
