No doubt you wont read this reponse, much like many responses whom mirror the same thoughts and feelings as my own.

I've been playing tihs game for around 7 years now, and every single time a major update comes out it is delayed. Before it used to be a small number of hours and I didnt mind, but this is just getting longer and longer with each update.

I am absolutely disgusted that a company in such a competitive market feels that its good conduct to treat their customers this way. I work as an IT Consultant, and if I was late or didn't keep my word, my word would very fast become worthless. CCP, you know people will continue to play your game, and so you feel that treating paying customers in this manner is ok. Not only is it poor business practice but it's wrong.

Just an example, I setup a skill to run which would allow me enough time to log back into the game in the two hours free I get per day, after DT and set another skill. Because of this delay that wont happen, thus I will be missing out on a full days worth of skill training.

Just to ensure that you get the point, this isnt just about losing skill times, I'm paying a good amount of money, more so than most other MMORPG's, and my gametime is being taken away because of your inability to stick to your word and do your jobs properly. If you are not going to be able to get an update out by the time you say, then you must start to factor this into your estimations. I would rather you say that servers will be down from 07:00 till 23:30 (and we all know it will be later than that) compared to 17:00, and then bump it forwards every hour or so.

Most people at a very young age learn how to manage their time and learn that sticking to your word is very important in life, and you, CCP, are acting like a teenager whom ignores both. I am truly dissapointed in how this business is being run and your treatment of customers is negligent.

If you people dont realize it is not about the 35c (and what of most plp with multiple accounts) It is about CCP telling us yet again a time and yet again screwing up. I employ people to work for me and if CCP was working for me they would be out of a job. So you brown nose people need to take your heads from out of CCP's behind because unless you work for them, sticking up for them and making light of a serious mess wont get you any where.
What has happened here is a disgrace, Blizzard did a seemless expansion that is a lot more complex than this one and did it with no downtime at all.
As has been mentioned, this happens every time and CCP should be ashamed.
10 hours @ 12 million an hour = 120 mill lost, hint hint.

I can't help but think of the poor people at CCP who have to do the work. Had to get up extremely early to start work and now it looks like they might have to pull an all-nighter. And it's like this almost every time they do a patch. And all their customers do is whine that it's taking too long. Yeah they know, they expected, well, hoped to be home by now. I'm off to bed. I hope it's up in the morning.

this makes no sense, it seems like they are saying it's 22.25 UTC and the forums will be up in 5 mins and TQ in 1 hour, but that msg went up at 21.25 UTC (it's actually 21.43 UTC now...

what does it all mean ??
