What can you do? - Make WiS a permanently optional feature. - CCP's CEO gives his word that only vanity items will be sold on the virtual shops, ever. - CCP's CEO promises that at any one time at least half of the techs will work on improving eve's gameplay. This does not include WiS or virtual shops. We, the one's playing Eve, are the ones footing the bill so it is only fair that at least half of the resources are devoted to the game we are paying for. If you want to change our game, fine, let us know and we'll go to another place, but at least have the decency to tell us in the face. No more lying, no more deep throating us with half finished code meant for other projects. We pay to fly ships, not to beta test Dust's virtual shop or vampire clothing. __________________________________ My faith in CCP will return SoonÖ

To be fair, the early thread was very responsive to the parley request. However, when CCP didn't seem like they were going to actually make a statement on the issue, and we got put "to tomorrow", then people got upset.

My beef (and I think it is one shared with a fair number of the posters here) isn't the CQ in itself. I think it's a great platform for CCP to build on. It's a massive improvement for new players. I just think that "Incarna" should have been reserved for the big Multiplayer-with-full-station expansion. I even think that the NEX store isn't bad. The range of stock/price is awful, but as long as it remained bling, it didn't bother me. The range can always be expanded on to fill lower price brackets. Look at my posts in the feedback threads for the expansion- they're positive. However, CCP's newsletter (confirmed legit) seems to have explained a couple of the mysterious changes that have happened recently, along with giving us an idea of how a game designer is thinking for the future. If it hadn't referenced buying fittings or faction standings, I could have considered it as an exercise to stimulate discussion.
