When you choose not to utilize CQ and MT, CCP quite literally shows you the door....lol. CCP will end up losing more money from cancelled subs than they will gain from MT, and then they will wonder how and why it happened.

I need to buy a new computer because of this expansion New Egg or Tiger Direct for 200 or 250 dollars in other words a full two months of what I have available for recreational spending money.
I have two accounts and three computers.
Recent updates to your processor requirements knocked out my other desktop an Athlon xp 3400. Now this update knocked out my laptop because of the Shaders 3.0 requirement. All this right after my account billed on my second account I no longer can use. Don't suppose I can have my money back?
I look around the expansion I see one good thing all be it a bit buggy and that is the Agent Finder. (thank you for that)
Other than that. Its complete fluffy garbage.
I don't want to spend the amount of money it takes for me to work two hours in real life or that I can otherwise pay for a Carrier class vessel on (skipping some really nasty insults I am thinking of for the sake of not getting banned) pants.
The Turrets are pretty but cant see em unless I am scrolled on top of my ship and don't add anything to game play. Because I cant see them I just would like the old ones back. The new icons are fug. I can personally photo-shop a better looking set and I cant draw.
I ask you CCP this. If you are already done with your Shader 2.0 stuff and have all the artwork for an entire game based on 2.0 Would it pain you to let my poor wallet and my poor old computer back on your system and just look at ugly ships and turret's yet still be able to play the game?
Also the game has crashed on me three times since the update before that it was months since my last crash being caused not by the game but a poorly configured firewall.
Captains quarters serves no useful purpose other than proof of concept. Its fluff garbage junk. The Animations on the characters are jerky at best. The TV doesn't have anything I would want to watch. I suppose maybe you can improve it by making it a multi user experience. Including an interactive map for planing. Let the tv stream music or video to the occupants of the room. Be nice to hang out and watch alliance tournament, you tube or tune into eve radio or other play generated content.
Bottom line I love this game but I am poor. I play video games to stop myself from blowing money at a bar. I will go to a cheaper game if you repeatedly make it cost prohibitive. There are a number of internet spaceship games on the market. Vendetta online. Battlestar, Galactica, Startrek online, Starwars Galaxies and a number more in development. As far as Dust don't currently own a PS3 was going to buy one but now have to buy a new computer. I have no interest in bad vampire romance if I want that there's a LARP group here in Buffalo NY.
Maybe two subscriptions don't matter to you. Can't imagine it does. I came back to eve after the last time you did this to me with the end of the classic client. I am sorry I am not rich and making minimal wage in a job economy of over 17% unemployment thats the best I can do sorry.

Right now I'm feeling that CCP should just take their hands off EVE completely. Keep the servers up, charge a minimum fee per month, and let it run the way it is. Screw iterations, screw bug fixes, the game actually works today. But anything CCP plans to actually do to the game is worse than not doing anything at all.
If you/CCP needs to get money, just fire all staff and keep the servers up while you're starting it all over. You're clearly desperate enough to take stupid risks atm, just give up, start over.
EVE will live in the state it currently is. But it will die when you start non-vanity items for AUR. It's that simple.

micro transactions = no good
the MTs raise the price of plex, in return the best ships etc in the game become available for pennies to ppl who dont work for them
right now with the prices theres some what of a balance with isk/irl money, no more MTs!

Ignoring your playerbase and thinking of us as cows that u can milk of their hard earned money is an insult of unseen magnitude. Honestly, i dont think that Eve will die because of this. There are always people that will play and even buy stuff that is absurdly expensive. But i think CCP just lost a big part of their old playerbase. Not only with Incarna, also with that **** about licenses.
I mean, these people make free apps that help u keep and attract player for free and you charge them now for it?? I dont know who came up with this, but please let someone check your state of mind. Otherwise u mind end up thinking bungee jumping without rope might be a good idea.

for dust to work at all eve must be functioning, good luck getting the FPS crowd to trust you again if you kill eve and dust before it even gets off the ground,
however,
if you do manage that you will at least be able to sit back and be proud that you are officially the laughing stock of the gaming world
