Thats good, people will hopefully just move onto a new area and do the same, if they want to screw with us then we can do it back, i got few days left on my cancelled account, think i may join them once i finish work

I need to know, I need answers, like everyone here. Oh and btw, Apple version = epic fail (take a look to Mac threads).
Now tell me a reason, why I should keep to pay and support this game?

2nd this game is only 9 months old as well get in there to get your sp building now lol
Very promising looking! Like an already made Dust with all the best attributes of EVE that will not make it into DUST and it's on the PC. I almost don't care how buggy or laggy or imbalanced it may be.
Is there a market in it? Can we scam? Can we Gank? (Mechageddon!)

Well this has become a threadnought hasn't it. I'll put my two cents worth in to boot in order of importance to me.
1. Really didn't appreciate the leaked Hilmar letter. Shows a very poor regard for CCP Games Customers. 2. Incarna is burning my systems up if I stay docked. 3. I really don't like looking at a door. Guess this is CCP's way of forcing us into CQ. 4. Total lack of usealbe ship interfaces in hanger. Now takes twice as long to change ships 4a. Can no longer interface directly with the ship you have to use the holo displays or the fitting window. 4b. Can no longer drag and drop a ship into hanger, that I've found. You have to use the make active menu selection. 4c. Can no longer get a righ click repair quote on the ship you are flying. You have to select it from a list of all the other detris in the hanger. 4d. Can't spin the ship or zoom in or out on it. 4e. I dont really need or want the CQ. Give me the option of having the old hanger back. If I want to do Incarna I'll turn it on but give me a choice. 5. Now I understand why CSM members quit the CSM and then the game.
This is just the stuff in the CQ. I havent gotten to all the stuff outside the station yet. But if it's half as broken as inside station I might not want to uncdock.

So this threadnaught gained just 15 pages or so, since I last took a look maybe 10 hours ago.
On the otherhand the threadnaught with people declaring their unsubscription gained > 30 pages.
Metrics dont lie, right ?
Oh well at least your plan seems to be working. When you come back on monday all the lions might gone and just the sheep might be left.

That door is truly a good metaphor, get the message. And this is just more words, if you read the mail, this whine was all predicted, and it matters less. Make an action to show them, that matters more.

the most recent blog from CSM Trebor Daehdoow
Originally by: "Trebor Daehdoow"
CCP's Defining Question The defining question that is behind the riots that are going on both on the forums and in the game is a simple one:
"Will CCP introduce game-affecting virtual goods, aka Gold Ammo"?
We thought we knew the answer to this question, based on CSM's meetings with CCP in October and December, and CCP Zulu's November devblog:
"The scope will be (and thereæs no design has been done around this, weære just talking strategy now) that anything that doesnæt affect gameplay directly can be, potentially, sold for PLEX or other means."
And yet now, we are barraged with evidence that this is no longer the case: the Ishukone Scorpion trial balloon, the leaks of CCP's internal magazine, "Fearless", and Hilmar's Global Email, and perhaps most damningly, the fact that CCP Zulu's most recent devblog totally avoided this key issue, despite feedback from the CSM that it had to be addressed. This last devblog was particularly worrying to me, because it didn't "sound" like Zulu at all, it sounded like someone was holding a gun to his head and making him recite a message.
All of this points to the fact that golden ammo is no longer off-limits, and EVE players are rightfully concerned. For gold ammo, while appropriate for a casual game with a pump-and-dump subscriber strategy, strikes at the core of the deep social cohesion that makes EVE so special -- we don't play EVE because of its game mechanics and UI, we play EVE despite these things. We play EVE because it's the only game out there that fosters such deep, long-term social connections, and we play for years, not months.
This is EVE's secret sauce, and the players are up in arms because CCP appears to be not only ****ing in it, but pointlessly ****ing in it.
So forget about the botched NEX store pricing -- that can be fixed.
And forget about eventually being forced to keep the Captain's Quarters -- that's a long-term issue that can be addressed.
The defining question that CCP must ask itself is a simple one: "Are you willing to bet your company on gold ammo?"
And whatever the answer is, they need to communicate it to us quickly, unambiguously, and dramatically.

I find all of this very sad. I just cancelled a subscription that I expected to continue with for a long time. So be it if CCP are looking for action.
I still hope that during the remaining game time I have CCP will come to their senses and not ruin the game I have loved for the last few years. The final few days of my sub will consist of me getting my stuff back to a safe spot in empire with the vain hope that one day this game will be fixed and I can rejoin. Therefore... no, none of the trolls can hAz mY stUffz or however they say it in a poor attempt at internet humour.
The words in the song "someone like you" seem very apt right now, especially "who would have known how bittersweet this would taste"
So long eve, if only I can find Someone like you :( --------------------------------------------

He makes Steve Jobs look relistic.
I would not compare to Steve Jobs. Apple has somewhat more than 40k concurrent iPhones working.

You are an internal employee... leaking a highly confidential and very private e-mail from your very own CEO who can fire you in a heartbeat, then sue you into debtor's prison, and also ensure you never find gainful employment in the gaming industry again. All the while you live on a tiny little rock in the middle of a big ocean, likely working for the biggest chunk o' your industry in that nation.
And you wonder why the poor 'tard DIDN'T send it via internal e-mail with his name attached? Serious?
Hell man, he did it from a secret account so his very own corporation wouldn't drag his @ss out to the beach and throw him into the ocean.

Wow.
IÆve always been very direct and honest with the community û some might even say a bit too blunt at times so I want to respond to this.*
I can understand the reaction to the Eurogamer quote that sparked this and related threads, but my comments (thoughtfully linked earlier in this thread ) from June were completely accurate and to the best of my knowledge at the time. In fact, to this date, I have not been involved in discussions/decision-making processes about whether or not CCP will ever use microtransactions in EVE Online, how such a system would be implemented, and so on. I work in Community, so I donÆt call the shots about how CCP operates or how the company adapts to changes in the industry, and thus I make no promises about what the future holds. The only thing I can promise is that I will continue to listen to the EVE playerbase and convey what I know back to you, as IÆve done in the past.
Were CCP to finalize some plans to implement microtransactions in EVE Online, there would be a dev blog or official announcement. As it stands though, IÆm unaware of any such plans.
Back to my original point û IÆve been straight with all of you since day one here, and thatÆs not going to change.
*Disclaimer: This post has not been endorsed by CCP Manifest, hence lacks the polished caress of PR.

It must be real hard for a CEO when one (or several) staff breaks policy and trust like this, and treats the customers with some truth and respect.
