I used to play on Bria alot under the same name but left when the CU hit. Thankfully I found EVE and have been happily slaughtering Amarr here eversince.

Aye, fresh off of SWG, played it for 1 month, had 100 hours logged.
Will never play it again now that I've discovered EVE.

I'm not realy from swg ... i've played swg since launch an then for about 1 year ( my 1st mmorpg was daoc ) ... left before CU ... then played daoc again, eq2, GW ,WoW returnt to swg and tryed CU, some time daoc and then looked at the NGE and now i know there will be no swg for me no more ;) I think it's dead now ... then i've found EvE and i like it so far, i wish i could move my character on space stations in person like you could move around on starships in swg =)...

didn't affect me like i thought it would, because as hard as i worked on my toon...everything i worked for turned to junk
whatever
anyway to contact the swg exiles corp? i sent the leader an email but haven't heard anything back, i'm lookin to join if possible :)

Former SWG player as well. Played on Europe-Chimaera as a RP Stormtrooper in THE Stormtrooper Detachment Epsilon. This guild originated from Bria. NGE ruined the game for the guild and it was retired with honor.

I was Gadge on Chimera.
But i was Gadget on Eve first.
I left Eve around the time of the mining laser 2 episode.
The casual killing at gates made me actualy not like playing .. I found myself just being angry when ever i played. So i went to SWG.
Now SWG has been uber nurfed (I was a crafter) i thought id try Eve again .. After paying some rather heavy fines to get my confiscated goods back im loving it.
Much more balanced. I like the way its no longer geared toward pirates having an easy life.

played it about 2 months or so. then there was the banning of players that came into contact with duped money and I left the game. didnt want to pay any more money to a busines that treats its customers like that. the fact that theye screwed over a large part of their playerbase with that update, didn even hit me like a total surprise o.O
-just an fyi. Albert Einstein was dyslexic, and I wouldnt be surprised if he coulnd't spell properly either ;) |

I have been playing SWG for over 2 years and a friend told me about EVE and I find its a very interesting game  sucribed now for 3 months. I am on the Gorath server under the name Orilious Panzor but since the NGE its not fun anymore really thats why Im here now

That video was hilarious! Well, imagine the frustration with NGE when a RP Stormtrooper was limited to a certain profession due the armor certifications  And it could be filmed too how funny it looks when hyperactive gerbils on too much drugs&coffee run all around the screen..that is how I saw NGE  Benny Hill music on and off we go..

I think I recognize that "S!". I was PK-31 in my former life. Nice to see some fellow STs coming over as well.

It is me, DK-215 I was getting the hang of the whole thing when NGE hit the fan and..well..rest is history. I've found RP in EVE now and EP is a good guild to be in. I have named my ships after Epsilon and such..go figure.

Played SWG for over a year, NGE killed the game... Playing EVE and finding that it is what I should have been playing from the start. Good Luck to all SWG refugees

Heh, I signed up with PRCM because alot of the people I know/once knew are in it, thats how I was convinced to try out EVE actually
Oh yeah, and Naritus Stormtrooper here, also like playing an Imperial Chaplain heh. So blessed from the Emperor we go.

played Blastimus Maximus on ahazi. I left SWG after almost 2 years for the exact reasons of the original poster, they nerfed alot of good stuff when they implemented what I knew as the CU or combat upgrade...spent over a year focusing a character on jedi training and was so close, wanted so bad to wield a stupid lightsaber and be in a big jedi battle at night...lol...used to be the coolest fights ever. Found EVE and never looked back...cheers to CCP for thier originality and ingenuity. What's a NGE? Not Gonna Enjoy?

NGE exile here too.. Stupid nge made most of the active members of our PA leave. Especialy some close ingame friends. And tbh the PA was the best thing with the game. And when the NGE turned out to be 100% junk i left.
I loved the game, but they had to **** it up :/
One thing is for sure tho. Ill never buy a new soe game

LOL! I left (purged my Jedi, and killed my wookiee second account) about two weeks prior to the NGE. I was getting increasingly frustrated at the lack of fixing content and profession bugs. Lo and behold I found out why they never fixed the GPS baby spawns on Corellia...
Maybe I was having a premonition or something, but I just up and left and two weeks later the NGE hit.
I tried WoW briefly, but it felt like a grind-intense Super Mario Brothers. I kept expecting to see King Koopa hiding in the bushes.
I have been playing Guild Wars and will continue to do so.
Jonesing on a space setting, I checked this game out and started my trial last Thursday. It's early, but I suspect I'm hooked...
