Same here ,if i start mining aprox 2 min *conection to server lost* if i start ratting ,if i got atacked ,i even lost a boat a fully t2 fitted Domi on this -_-
So ccp ,same as Author i did also still prob's ...
If it goes on like this i won't be able to play eve online anymore !
Beside that i live in 0.0 space great when loosing conction all the time bye bye isk ,i can't even rat anymore :(

Couldn't stay connected for more than about 15 seconds last night.
It wasn't the net either I had a connection monitor running.
Lost around 1.5 billion isk because of it.

I opened the LogServer to see why I'm experiencing CTDs so often. The last line in the log after a crash is a message saying that a certain JPEG is being loaded from cache/browser/img. When I look at the image being loaded, it's 3k and invalid -- can't be opened in any viewer I have.
Can anybody else reproduce this?

This is still happening to me. I play EVE over a uni connection in Manchester and I get d/c perhaps every 5 minutes. It is completely unplayable :s

I'm suffering so many disconnects now i lose count on a daily basis, i have lost ships due to it and am awaiting responses on several accounts dating back 2 or so weeks. Please could CCP give us a rough idea of what the petition queue situation is :)

im getting this as well now. started 2 or 3 days ago. the problem is, it is also kicking my brother off his computer that is connected through the same router I am connected. its very strange.

this is very obviously a client-side issue -- too many people on too many different types of computers on too many isp's are affected for it to be and ISP or 'connectivity' issue, and it is traceable from the revelations patch. for me, when eve gets cranky it takes another internet application with it. for others, they have to reboot to regain connectivity. nothing on the ISP or server would cause these symptoms.

I have been reading around to see if I can find a thread with the same issue as mine.
I believe it has somethign to do with the patch they are working on. At first I was getting the FPS increase bug everytime I went through a startgate two days ago. Last night, I would get a CTD near a start gate. After loggin in twice only to be booted almost instantly, I can't even get into the character select screen.
I was able to briefly log in after I switched out video cards (have a back up, I am an MMO geek), but the second I warped back near a start gate by default on login, because that was where i had crashed last night, and I crashed instantly and can not get back in again.
I can play all (I have 4 others) of my other online games just fine and dandy. All my drivers are updated and it isn't the vid card, or my computer. This is something client side.

I played EVE in beta during the 2002 release, this connection issue was a problem then also. I quit played as soon as EVE went retail, and have just started playing retail recently this past 4 days ago. This problem still persists and has not been resolved.

I have logged in approx. 50 times in the last 2 hours in an attempt to change my skill. Most of the time my chat windows do not even load before I get disconnected. Finally I got my skill changed but this is ridiculous. I have had disconnection problems ever since the patch but it has just been getting worse and worse until now I literally cannot play the game. |

Cant say I ever had this problem while playing eve.. apart from the Server it selfs Crashs... (in 9months)
So for me Eve is working just fine.. apart from a little lag now & then ..

This is getting ridiculous. I have been trying to log in for almost the entire month of december and get nothing but empty chat windows, lag, etc. That's if I can even make it past the log in screen. I know with expansions there are problems but wtf are you spending all our subscription fee's on ccp? Christmas presents? FIX the damn thing already.

I have had random disconnects since beta, seems the more ppl that play, the worst it gets, this problem has been going on for a long time, and CCP knows it, I have contacted them, and still get the same thing, must be my isp, running ping plotter, the delays were in london every time, so if its my isp, or my fault, why do i not have this problem with any other game? and i play many others ....

i also have this problem. it seems very random. i use 2 accounts and often i have both on at the same time. sometimes one account will get disconnected many times a night. but the other account will not lose connection at all. even if i use 1 account i still have this problem. i did not see this problem before the patch. also since the patch it takes multiple log in attempts to get into game, usually 3 or 4 per account.

Have the same problem as all of the above. Disconnection after a few seconds or a few minutes after starting eve.
The problem is neither network or dsl relied because I run a second account using the same connection without any problem.
I did a full system reinstall, new drivers and dx. No change.
My workaround :
 Sounds silly but works, I start a instance of Everquest in the background ( Usaly my trader ) and the disconnection problem disappears immediatly. This may not help all but maybe give a push in the right direction how to solve the problem.

In the last 3 days I have been disconnected over 100 times trying to pvp or mission...yikes...what is going on? The optional patch made no change. It is also apparent that it has nothing to do with my side of things 
Please make some kind of hotfix CCP.

This **** is getting ridiculous. I can't even stay connected long enough to change skill training anymore. Log in, everything is fine, suddenly no response to anything at all, and the client has no idea, but the server has ditched the connection like an ugly girlfriend.
Definitely nothing on the client side, you can watch the traffic, it'll just sit there happily sending its traffic, then all the sudden, the other end stops responding. It never even closes the connection properly, it just drops it outright. No FIN, no RST, no nothing -- client never knows what hit it.

Yeah, this is driving me bananas. Worst thing is it takes a while for the client to realise it's not connected anymore. Corpmates tell me on TeamSpeak I've dropped out way before I get a message from the client.

I have been playing for about a year now, and everything worked fine till revelations arrived. Now I either can play for few hours, or being d/c 20 times in one h randomly, for me looks like some timeouts, couse 70% of my d/c take place when Im afk but not only (Team speak or p2p is running still)- I changed my reouter firmware (suplier claims that router can not kill my port/conection on his own even if its idle), bought more RAM, bought new graphic card, reinstaled client, reinstaled windows - and gues what ....$%T*%^%@$@#&^%$
