[rant]Why must he (the player who mentioned Mormons) bring religion into this? I don't want to start a flame war in this thread but you are extremely mistaken on the the religion of Mormons and Fanatical Sects. We are not the same, the sect practices polygamy, the regular Mormons or Latter Day Saints (LDS) as they are formally known do not practice polygamy.
It's like grouping Islam and Fanatical Islam in the same boat. Kinda ticks me off. [/rant]
Continue with the great writing Inno. I love it.

I know you said you were only going to ever have yourself in your corp but why don't you invite her to join you in your space adventures? Ask her to join your corp get her to meet you then have her brutaly podded and then kick her from the corp its only bending the rules of your one man corperation a bit I mean you could do that while the paperwork is still going through right?

Falling Down
The ramifications of my violent act of destruction washed over me like a great barrage of waves, relentless, pounding, crashing and smashing into my memories like a crate of bricks being dropped from a high height and relentlessly pounding on my fragile sanity.
I stared down at the items I had looted from Jessica's destroyed vessel:
Link
Was it really worth it? To cause such pain and misery for a few meaningless trinkets that would soon long be forgotten.
The memory of Jessica, however, would not...
I wiped the blood from my hands and flew back to the station, wondering why it was that every time I docked at one of these mercenary places, a box popped up on the screen demanding money.
It was most peculiar:
Link
In an instant, my calmness and sadness had dissipated and I once again felt the rage building inside of me like a shaken bottle of Coca-Cola on the verge of bursting. I felt like Spock from Star Trek, desperately trying to control my emotions, as the anger and hatred at the world around me swelled more and more into an all-consuming bubble of poison.
A minute later and I could not take it any longer. The venom inside of me boiled over and I suddenly found myself aiming my guns at anyone and everyone who so much as crossed my path. I had destroyed my first ship, so why not do another? Why not sink into an endless cycle of destruction?
The rage overcame me, and like Michael Douglas in the classic film Falling Down, I exploded in a volcano of hatred. I did not care any more and mercilessly opened fire on a unsuspecting Mercenary Coalition captain:
Link
I was about to inflict my first brutal podding upon another pilot and the fury and the rage and the fury and the raaaaaage was building and rising and building and riiiiiiiiiising.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR" - I screamed, my lungs channeling the air around me as fast as they could.
In a microsecond I found myself sitting there with my veins furiously pumping, sweat streaming and cascading down my face, as I bitterly and brutally podded that motherf***ing b**tard:
Link
One was not enough!
I needed moooooooooooooooooooore!
Moaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar!
GIVE ME MORE! - I shouted, in a very evil manner.
The desire for carnage and revenge was overwhelming me. This was retribution for all those nasty attacks and bitter onslaughts I had continually suffered throughout my journey.
I had tried my best to be polite and nice, but I had now been reduced to the basest, lowest of common denominators and I just did not care any more.
A man in a shuttle had just evolved into a deadly killer with one serious attitude.
I aimed my gun at yet ANOTHER mercenary and horrifically let rip:
Link
I sat back and laughed maniacally as the shrapnel from my compressed coil gun tore into his pod and I let out an infernal grin of satisfaction as my mercenary friend Squagel became Squishgel...
Just as I was about to find yet another victim to brutally pod, my evemail started to flash. I had been unexpectedly contacted by a journalist from the EVE tribune.
Her name was Kia Lotus and she wanted to interview me because she had heard that I was a really nice and helpful n00b who was always pleasant and did his best for others. How ironic.
My guilt began to overwhelm me and I lied my way through the most difficult interview I had ever given.
I was overcome with sorrow as I wondered what else this bitter-sweet EVE universe would throw at me next...
Interview

Quote: Kia: Can your fans buy shares in your corp? Will these shares ever pay dividends based on the success/failure of your experiment?
IN: This is an interesting question and is not something I had considered. According to my "corp" information tab I have 1000 shares available. I do not know why anybody would want any because the corporation does not do anything, other than sit on the nearest fence in a very neutral manner.
Me wants 1 share...
PS: You know, you could use distributed shares to mass inform people of new story in the blog

Also, request a sticky for this thread already...

Jerry Springer
The fact that the two pilots who I had brutally podded had welcomed their own killings, due to a strong need to instantaneously teleport to the stations where their clones were based, was entirely co-incidental.
I was sure that such a trivial fact had had absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the chilling success of my crushing Ibis rampage...
Like a returning runaway train, I frantically headed back to the station, with the spilled blood of three pilots now drenching me in a torrential storm of sadness.
I had reached such new lows, and words of my criminal acts had spread so far and wide, that the very station itself would not even let me dock:
Link
After waiting for another agonising nine seconds I was finally able to park my ship and I began to listen to a fascinating conversation that was taking place in Local, regarding the constitution of a delicious swedish cake.
I was directed to the following vital information:
Link
It would seem that when these brave mercenaries were taking a break from mining, they would excitedly exchange cookery tips with each other to pass the time until the asteroids respawned...
It was at that moment, that one of the mercenaries whom I had become friends with during my time here, decided to spontaneously start singing to me:
Link
I wondered if it was them or me that was slowly turning loopier than a double helix, sitting in a carriage inside a miniature loop-the-loop rollercoaster and going around a massive vertical bend. Clearly the pressure of my "recent acts of aggression" was getting to me.
I found the anger and rage building inside of me yet again:
Link
I quickly closed my eyes faster than a teenager walking into the bathroom and seeing his naked grandmother in the shower, and I desperately tried to regain my sense of austere composure.
Some time later I struck up a conversation with another of the leaders of the Mercenary Coalition, who went by the name of Mecenary Empress. I now wish I hadn't begun this discussion because it was this event that led to me making a truly soul-shattering discovery:
Link
I had made the scandalous discovery that my girlfriend Missytrex was having an affair with another man. She had been rampantly cheating on me behind my back, the whole time I had been having a lusty affair with Frivolous!
I felt like I was one of the lead characters in a ridiculous scene out of the Jerry Springer show, entitled "You holler dat you iz ma man but I iz here to tell you dat I iz cheetin' on yoo coz u iz a low down playa balla cheatin' on mee, dawg!"
I was absolutely outraged at this heinous revelation:
Link
I began to wonder just how long this illicit affair had been carrying on for. Perhaps it was the case that she had been "playing me" all along and did not have a vast fortune to bequeath to me at all.
I suspected that this Missytrex was a lot more intelligent than she had let on, and that I had been part of a deep and sinister ploy to achieve something shocking that I had not yet managed to work out.
It is said that whatever you put out into the universe always comes back to you, as proof of the inherent laws of duality and polarity that subtly guide our fates and destinies behind the scenes.
Our relationship was officially over and I sorely wished I had never started it in the first place. I held my head in my hands and bemoaned my own stupidity.
I was rapidly beginning to lose my mind and desperately needed to find a way of reversing the bad Karma that I had created...

I wunder how many thousands of combined man hours were lost to people reading this at work...
With the length of this thread now qualifying it for inclusion in the 2007 Guiness Book of Records, I suspect that the number of hours lost is slightly larger than the number of atoms in a medium-sized galaxy.
Originally by: Rajon Kelper so will we get to hear about what REALLY happens when Aspiring Authors eat Large Pizzas?
I tend to stack the boxes on top of each other at a slight angle, hence creating a splendid replica of the wondrous Italian landmark: "The Leaning Tower Of Pizza"
Originally by: Majutsu As a noob I've been intrigued by the tale and even taken a shuttle out and travelled round 0.0 space looking for adventure myself. Luckily I then found a nice person (young lady I think) and asked her to blow my pod up so I didn't have to spend ages flying back to noob space
Remember you can also self-destruct too, which was something I did not know could be done at first.

I have no problems with this slightly disturbing request...
Originally by: Kala Rain I believe you don't know what Ctrl-F9 does in this game, do use it if you plan on showing your audience more screenshots
Thank you, Kala, I pressed this button combination and expected my account to be deleted, or something equally sinister, but was surprised to see that it merely removed the HUD from the screen, thus enabling a nice clear screenshot to be taken.
Originally by: Krexus There is something dark and sinister about Mr. INNOMINATE NIGHTMARE
Sinister is merely the ancient latin word for left-handed...
Originally by: Damien Smith I think our resident novelist should visit some pirate infested low sec during his travels.
Damien, this will most probably happen at some point.
Originally by: "Admai Sket is it possible to have a big square at the top of your blog page with some vital stats in, like, how many isk you are at, and/or how many times you've died etc, how long you've been out there etc.
Nice idea, although my experiment has no objectives so I don't really want to start "measuring myself". Ahem.
Originally by: Seleene That's it. I'm getting out of my freighter in Jita and coming down there tonight...
Seleene carried this threat out and bravely ventured out of Jita. However, she took an armed escort of 25 fearless miners with her, in case she damaged her nails on the way back to 0.0....
Originally by: Scallybag Just wondering, when you gonna try and get yourself into jove space?
What a great idea. Every time I look at the map, that patch of unreachable land always intrigues me. I may try to smash my way in there at some point.

Originally by: Wredstorm Hey Inno, I'm curious if your frozen corpse ever sold that you put into escrow for oodles of ISK?
Unfortunately, it did not. Although I did receive requests to buy it for lower amounts, so I probably should have auctioned it to discover its value.

There appears to be large demand for this so I will go ahead and organise a share issue in my corp.
